Chase, I've been following you (mostly Nightwish) and love your style. Cool on-point analysis, and still emotial reactions, and sarcastic one- or twoliners, which you also put in your intro.
I've been trying to keep track, but I haven't found you reacting to these: We have this Raskasta joulua (Heavy Christmas ("for you" implied)) thing here in Finland. You should check it out, whether you are into Christmas or not. This is a varying group of metal musicians touring Finland around Christmas time. It has been going on for many years (15?), and Marko Hietala is one of the originators. I think you'd enjoy this one: Oi jouluyö, Holy Night (2016), ruclips.net/video/ym1Wc5dmUYc/видео.html , where you'll get to see a couple more things about Floor... Yes, that always happens, doesn't it? (A nod, and a poke... ;) )
There's Ave Maria by Floor and Marko (2019). ruclips.net/video/ut6ufu2CPNg/видео.html
And of course, lots more, with or without Marko or Floor or Tarja. Take your pick, although I recommend the first link first.

Classical elements in this piece come from the fact that it is based on Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. When it comes to Suy, the guitarist, from the fans point of view it has always been a tight "competition" between him and Hizaki from Versailles. A friendly one though.

How about a reaction to some Onmyouza (also spelled Onmyou-za), maybe Kasane (there is a live video of it)

Galneryus is amazing, and the guitarist Syu is a god. Been listening to them since like 2005 with their first singer. Definitely check out something from their 'Advance to the Fall' album, "Silent Revelation" is only like 5 mins. Sadly, cuz it's an old song, the actual music video is horrible quality now :(

    Great reaction.
I enjoyed watching it very much.
Be sure to listen to Unlucky Morpheus, a mere metal band with great violinist.
    Especially recommended are
    "angreifer," "dignity of spirits".

I think you'd really like OLDCODEX, especially their songs "Where'd They go" and "Aching Horns". It's a really interesting band with a very unconventional line-up.

Hey Chase, awesome reaction! I wanted to ask you something as a fellow metalhead. I just wondered, if you can still be a professional musician after you've hit 30? I've always focused on starting learning a music instrument or taking singing lessons, but I never had the opportunity regarding financial issues. So I've started taking classical guitar and singing lessons recently and I wonder, if this still can work?
