Damn people get off of him about pausing the video. That’s what most reaction videos do. If you want your precious video uninterrupted, don’t watch reaction videos. If you insist on an uninterrupted view, stick to the original or watch Vin and Sori. They are the only reactors I know of that can get away with that cause they don’t try to monetize their videos so the copyright police leave them alone. But for everybody else, they have to pause for copyright reasons aaaaaand it’s a REACTION video, so they will pause to give their opinions and such. I personally like getting their on the spot reactions to songs I love. Just chill folks and enjoy.
This 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
But the whole point is to experience the song in its entirety. It ruins it when its paused just when the viewer is starting to get into it. The whole point to the song is the myriad of emotions you have bounced around leaving you feeling emotionally drained because of that. Queen fans want the listener to feel the same way they did when they first heard the song. Because to them, it's almost like they're experiencing it for the first time too through someone else.
I suggest listening to the whole song first and talk about it after, specially if you're gonna react to legendary songs. Pausing just cuts the flow and the feel of the song is lost. The song will probably pull out purer reactions from you if the feel of the song is not lost. That said, you didn't pause before the guitar solo, like a lot of other reactors do so that's good, but you did pause during the solo so that's an L from me. That's like pausing a Busta Rhymes rap mid-verse, a definite no-no.
Not your call watchers, get over it, everyone does it their way, if cannot criticise without being nasty, do not bother.
@@gailswearngin7589 The whole song of this and many, many others are all available on your tube, go listen to them in their entity all you want, whats preventing you???, but this is a review, Hello, its not rocket science. lol js some people I swear just love to bitch.
I’ve been listening to this song for 43 years and it still gives me goosebumps every time
Na bro this is like one of the most popular songs in history.
Facts
yeah didnt know lol
@@RealSimbaTv it's all good bro keep exploring genres lots of great songs!
@@RealSimbaTv it's the greatest song of the 70s for sure but it's also the best song of all time. Queen was a legend. Check out their best not as well known songs like "Don't Stop Me Now", "I Want it All" and "Crazy Little Thing Calles Love"
@@BlueDebut not as well known? All those songs are incredibly popular
The beginning is all Freddie. He recorded all the parts himself and then put them all together. It took 70 hrs to record this song in the studio.
Yup, Freddie recorded 5 different vocal tracks in different octaves for the beginning. It's crazy that this song has 128 tracks on a 24 track tape.
Brian May wrote the guitar solo
Thanks so much for the information, Ruby. I've wondered about that.
One point: If you don't want to piss of Queen fans, NEVER EVER cut off the end of a song. You missed an entire lyric.
You can blame YT for this also. Putting links up on the screen BEFORE the video has ended. Way to go RUclips. :¬/
baylessnow FAXX
I was going to comment on the same thing. I hate missing that gong. It's like getting to the end of a great novel then finding that the final chapter's been ripped out.
You are right . Approximately half the reactors to this epic song assume that as soon as the bloody links go up it;s the end :(
Amen sister. Never mess with Freddie and Queen. We have the same last name😁😁👍👍
There will never be another artist with such a perfect voice and the range of Freddie Mercury. The man was a one off. Often imitated but can never be dupicated
Freddie...with his jaw line....got all the females....and the males too. ;)
My mum fancied Freddie gay or straight, she said she would take him any way she could get him, always, up until he died. She still goes on about him now (she's 78) and what she could have done with him (not graphically) given the opportunity. Still pisses my Dad off something chronic hhahahahaa.
That's so funny, how your Dad felt threatened, especially about a gay guy. @@DawnSuttonfabfour
I'm gay, and my straight friends like going out with me because women love me for some reason. XD
I sure as hell would have been one of the females Freddie GOT! HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN SO FREAKING HOT & HIS VOCAL RANGE IS A TURN ON! MY FAVE QUEEN VIDEO W/FREDDIE IS CRAZY THING CALL LOVE --- DAMN HE STRUTS HIS FINE ASS ALL OVER THE PLACE. LOL
"I just want everyone to get *******, like I do"
NOTHING is like Queen! You can't compare them to other bands. :)
Don't try to analyse the lyrics, just enjoy them!
The song Bohemian Rhapsody was released October 31, 1975, 43 years ago Freddie was a visionary, unfortunately he passed away on November 24, 1991 cause of death was bronchial pneumonia resulting from AIDS! Dr. Brian May lead guitarist in addition to being a brilliant guitarist is also a renowned astro physicist. Go see the new Bohemian Rhapsody movie.
The guitar solo was written by Brian May
I did not know that about Brian May! 2 absolutely brilliant careers in one lifetime.
"That is music though. That is music!". Truer words never spoken than what came out of your mouth right then.
Rest in peace, Freddie. We still love you.
Freddie Mercury was a musical genius! It's believed that this song was speaking figuratively about the dearth of his former self and him discovering who he really is, especially coming to grips with the fact that he was gay. His vocals are INCOMPARABLE and there will never be another like him!
when you find yourself screaming 'Oh come on!' halfway through the song because he pauses right before the end of every most amazing lyric.
Not saying pausing is not allowed, but at least wait until a sentence is finished...
It should be considered a sin to pause this song. Freddie Mercury was amazing at what he did. There will never be another like him. R.I.P. Freddie
Ignore the people talking about this song being about Heroin. No one really knows what this song is about as Freddie Mercury (who wrote it) never revealed it. However the best guess by most is that it is probably about the inner struggle he had with his sexuality at this time in his life.
A few Queen songs you might like to try - Stone Cold Crazy (live@ The Rainbow), Death On Two Legs, White Queen (Live @ Hammersmith '75), Don't Stop Me Now. Of course there is also their iconic performance at the Live Aid charity concert in '85 which has been voted the best live rock performance.
I think he left it unexplained so that you could interpret it to your life. I've heard a lot of interpretations of this song which does not match my life but I hear MY life in this song.
Mary Austin knew. She does give hints in her bio. Freddy started writing Bohemian Rhapsody shortly after meeting Mary in 75, He loved her so much, and he struggled with his bisexuality. He hated losing Mary, once she realized the pain he was in, and why. She let him go lovenly, told him he needed to find his true inner self, but she would always be there for him. They moved in with each other when she had more money than he. She actually supported him while he pursued music. Thus his love for her. To his dying breath he called Mary, his one true love, his common law wife. And she remained devoted to him for those 20+ yrs.. He was Godfather to her son. He wanted to only desire her. Unfortunately you can't choose sexual preference. He tried with all his heart. Then he finally resolved he was not, and could not pretend anymore. Another great song "Great Pretender" of his self proclaiming he was alright, Love wise, sexual preference wise, and hiding his HIV status, & eventual AIDS. He felt as if he was a great pretender. After his death, in his Will he gave Mary his beloved cats, his 22 room mansion were he passed, (with her caring for him, always by his side) his music catalog, and 50% of his remaining estate. He kept her with him his entire life, openly saying she was his only true confidant, and when he was dying his tribute to her with the beautiful "Those Were The Days Of Our Life" in the end of this love song, he bows his head, looks up, smiles so sweetly directly to the camera and says " I Still Love You". He finished Rhapsody in 84-85 and release it. Took him over 7 years to complete. Originally it was 3 separate songs, he pulled them together to created his opus.
It's got to be about coming out the closet.
@@angelgrl141 Much as I appreciate your comments in general, including your spirited defence of Mary - and why not - she gets a lot of unmerited hate, IMO; you might just want to check the accuracy of a few of the factual details you quoted. Just for the record:
Freddie and Mary met, through Brian, sometime between 1969 and 1970 when they started living together (after Freddie had pursued her for many months).. By 1975, I think they must have already been getting close to breaking up, in terms of living together I don't recall now the exact dates now but it def wasn't when they started living together; for one thing, I actually saw them together in '73, with Roger, at the Kensington Market stall.
Also at that time (early summer '73) Freddie told me he was working full-time for the guy (Alan Mair) who had the leather jackets stall opposite them, in addition to looking after his and Roger's stall, which wasn't proving very lucrative.. so the point about that is that he was working and earning money at that time, not just doing the music. He even kind of sighed about it, saying he had to do it because he had SO many bills to pay (yeah, I know that's a little surreal, but that's what he said - just like an ordinary mortal!). I'm not arguing that Mary didn't support him for some, or even most of that time, but just that he was, at least by that point definitely trying very hard to pay his way.
I think from what Roger was saying, they (the band) were hoping the record (the first Queen album) that was just about to be released was going to be a huge success - but it really wasn't, and Freddie continued to work for Alan until 1974 or 5. You can google this (Alan Mair Freddie Mercury Kensingon Market) if you're interested. He's been interviewed several times about it.)
These Are The Days Of Our Lives was actually written by Roger, not Freddie, and doesn't exactly reflect Freddie and Mary's relationship - for example, it speaks of their children, which sadly he and Mary never had - though Roger may have had Freddie's, and other friends' lives in mind as well as his own, and of course Freddie made the song his own with his ability to enter into the emotions of whatever he was singing about. I do agree that the whispered 'I still love you' was probably his own addition, and special message - Roger doesn't say it when he performs it - though whether the message was really for anyone in particular or his fans/ listeners/ humanity in general isn't clear. He used the same phrase at the end of Love Of My Life, which was presumably primarily for Mary, though when performing it he did seem to kind of 'spread the love' to include his audience in the sentiment.
Last point, as you've probably worked out by now, of course a 1985 release date of BoRhap is incorrect - in fact it was 10 years earlier, in 1975, on the 'A Night At The Opera' album. He did indeed spend many years with ideas for various bits of it banging around in his head/ on bits of paper, before he pulled it all together to create the one epic song of that name. I've often wondered whether being forced to confront his sexuality again with regards to where he and Mary were at, may have been one stimulus for revisiting those themes of personal alienation, facing the truth, life-altering decisions, religious/moral/legal judgement, etc, and finally drawing them together into a coherent, if still veiled, biographica/ confessionall storyline/ work of art..
The song was released in 1975. At that time he was in a relationship with a girl. It wasn't until he went to the US did he have his first gay experience.
The song was being written during the Vietnam War. I'm my opinion it was this, the song was about.
The opening harmony is 5 part Freddie, just Freddie, later on the others join in. Freddie never explained what the song meant, but it's thought it's about him killing his old self, in order to live in his truth, to be his authentic self. EPIC, CLASSIC song, and maybe the best rock song ever written.
You know you’ve never really lived life if you’ve never listened to Bohemian Rhapsody
This tune was used in the movie Wayne's World. Queen also wrote songs for the movie's Highlander and Flash Gordon.
If u hear rock music, u must know the best rock band ever "Queen"
Dude , you missed the “Anyway the wind blows”
And?
What to remember is that at the time it was done, it was brand new. Noone else had done anything remotely like this. Radio stations wouldn't even play it at first.
I just discovered all these Queen reaction videos. I just thought you guys should know Bohemian Rhapsody is about someone being accused by their girlfriend of crimes against the relationship and after she pronounces the death sentence, his reaction is "So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye?" and he leaves the relationship. I'm 62, great college music.
Rule no. 1 :- never pause Bohemian Rhapsody during Guitar solo
Never ever ever pause during a Brian may guitar solo
The first time I heard Bohemian Rhapsody was when I was 6 years old in 1975 growing up in North Wembley, London, England. I loved it back then, and I will love it till the day I die (hopefully many, many decades from now). Everyone should hear Bohemian Rhapsody once before they die.
You probably heard this song on Wayne’s world back in 1991. Mike Myers insisted that Bohemian Rhapsody be in that movie during the car jam session that they were all banging their heads to. EPIC!!!!
Can't agree with you more, Simba. Sticking to only one genre of music, robs you of the appreciation of many wonderful artists and songs.
Yeah. These guys truly define what it means to be a Rock God. Brian May gives one of the best guitar solos EVER, in his own world of music as you say... And Freddie's singing is the f***ing greatest the genre has ever seen.
That is music 🙂 Welcome to the wonderful world of QUEEN, you are going to enjoy the ride !!! 👌
I've been listening to this song since it first came out when I was a kid. I STILL grin as big as you did, every single time I hear it. Wonderful whimsical song that always makes me happy. Freddie Mercury has an epic voice and has been determined to have the widest range of octaves of any rock singers. Glad you enjoyed it.
Those vocals are all Freddie, all him, just made it so it sounds like all of them r singing, but nope, This man well never be even close to being replaced. RIP FREDDIE WE MISS YOU!!!
Listen to Queen’s performance for Live Aid. It is said that it is the BEDT PERFORMANCE EVER OF A LIVE BAND. 26 minutes or so with a medley of songs. Also, the performance is done in the film. Sincerely, Terry Fogarty, Original Fat Bottom Girl from Old HB NYC.
Congrats. Now you have seen Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. Now you can just go forward and live your life accordingly, knowing the most important step has been completed.
RIP Freddie Mercury, today November 24 the anniversary of his passing in 1991. We lost a legend way to soon!
Whoever has listened to We are the Champions , Another One Bites the Dust, and We will Rock You, among others has heard Queen.
The thing about Queen songs is that no one knows the true meaning behind them, it’s up to interpretation. Some of them you can obviously tell what they are about, Somebody To Love, 39’, Death on two legs. Then there’s songs like Bo rhap. No one really knows what it’s about. But most people think it’s about how freddie wants to be free but he can’t.
Also, ‘ Mama, just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead’ can also be taken as, he killed his old self. He’s gone. He can be free.
One more thing, with Queen songs, you gotta listen to the whole thing, or you’ll miss parts of the song.
This song deals with his battles within inner self about coming out to this family
Brian May wrote the Bohemian Rhapsody guitar solo
PLEASE REACT TO another one bites the dust music video, I want to break free music video, Somebody to love music video,We are the champions music video. These are ALL by QUEEN so pls watch one of them.
I SEE YOU EVERYWHERE WHERE IS QUEEN (sry for bad eng) lol
Not surprising this song spent a total of 14 weeks at No. 1 in the UK charts.
Freddie can sing anything, check out the video they did on his voice, his range was insane
Watch "Barcelona" with Freddie Mercury and Monserrat Cabelle! That song brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it.
Aight bro, lets slow this down lmao....bo-he-me-an great video brother
My man finding out about Queen, that's lit, this song here is a good start. They really are the best rock band ever. Voice, drums, e-guitar and bass all awesome. And Freddie could put on a show👌🔥 PS: "Innuendo" is the 1991 dark version of this song, deep lyrics, switches, harmonies etc! You'll love it! 🔥
Just look at how many views that video has. Last I looked it was over 675million. Check out some of their live stuff Freddie is at his best in front of an audience. Magic.
Dude, how the hell can you react to a song you've never heard before by pausing it every 3 seconds?? Listen to the song and then react to it.
Great to see you not only enjoy the transitions and epic vocals and musician ship, especially guitar but took the lyrics to heart and mind and got real philosophical too! Great reaction! Keep em coming!
The song starts builds and finishes because it's A Rhapsody, the term the name Rhapsody is from Beethoven's day 500 years ago all Rhapsodies start slowly and quiet build then end slow and quiet. His girl left him so he wrote a letter to his mamma saying he was sorry he was going to make her cry then shot himself in the head.
Bohemian rapsody is a classic and A MASTERCHIEF that song is MAGNIFIQUE , BEAUTIFUL freddie mercury is a LEGENDERY kiss from the france thanks for your reaction 😉
This song probably sounds familiar if you saw the movie ‘Wayne’s World’ starring Mike Myers as Wayne & Dana Carvey as his best friend Garth. It’s about them running a bootleg TV station out of their garage. If you haven’t seen it, you should.
The meaning of the song hasn't been revealed. Some guess it's about his sexuality, but there are a lot of issues with that interpretation regarding the lyrics of dying.
At face value, the basic meaning of the song details a poor boy who confesses to murder to his mother and family. He decides to turn himself in and plead for forgiveness.
The opera section in the middle is his trial of whether or not he should be let go. Unfortunately for him, he is found guilty and sentenced to jail.
The hard rock section is his anger towards those who put him here and those who didn't help him. He then tries to escape but it's useless. As the song calms down, he begins to accept his punishment and lets everything blow by.
"Anyway the wind blows".
Best description of the song.
That's not the meaning, it's about killing his old self ,and his homosexuality came through.
@@andyjames6300 Freddie Mercury wasn't gay when he wrote the lyrics. Why are so many people ignorant to that fact? The meaning is literal because it was intended to be a cowboy song. The only underlying meaning that has actually been explained by the band is it's comparisons to the Faust Legend, in which the murderer sells his soul to the devil and is put on trial for his crimes during the opera section.

Here is the source if you don't believe me. This tiny article has unfortunately gone overlooked by many music historians and Queen fans.
It's funny how you talk about how *they* have awesome harmonies at the beginning, when it was just Freddie singing 👌
I was given a copy of Bohemian Rhapsody for my 15th birthday back in 1975.😀
I feel old.😫
For years I assumed the a capella vocals were recorded by Freddie, Brian and Roger rather than Freddie on his own.
Marvellous recording.😎
I wish I was 15 in 1975
They were not all recorded by Freddie on his own. All were great singers and musicians. Roger Taylor provided much of the higher register harmonies in the studio and in live performances.
This song was named this song "The song of the century" in 1999 -- Seriously, everyone should know this song and as a black man this song should hit you hard. This is way out of any genre you you probably listen to, Pop/Jazz. Its a song from 1939. "Strange Fruit" from Billie Holiday. It is stunningly powerful. Time magazine named this song "The song of the century" in 1999. ruclips.net/video/c52ElU5tQNo/видео.html
Watch this version with the lyrics. (the link above)
He is just enjoying the music and video and wants to express how he is feeling while listening to it. His reaction. Great video.
Something ppl keep missing..this song is all ONE story..and ya..never cut off the ending
Loved your reactions & commentary!!! Queen truly was one of the best bands to rock, especially in the 70's & 80's :) Much respect for keeping Queen alive !!!! P.S. You have such an adorable infectious smile :)
Nice reaction! And, I don't mind the pausing at all! It just means you're enjoying Freddie and the boys. I pause these videos all the time!
and by the way...you enjoy breaking a song down as you listen to it. That's the right way to do it!
Simba: pauses during Brian May's Solo
me: wait what! thats illegal
The feminine look of male musicians was in the 1980s called glam rock.
Love your honesty with the video. Just adore your expressions. Thanks so much for your honesty!!!
Haha thank you
Explanation/Interpretation: It's about coming-out. Brief clues: "Caught in a landslide" - Questioning his sexuality "No escape from reality" - Realisation "Any way the wind blows" - Bisexuality "Just killed a man" - The man everybody thought he was "Got to leave you all behind and face the truth" - Can no longer keep pretending to be something he isn't From that point onward, it's kinda straightforward and self-explanatory - It's about the judgement and intolerance of those that don't accept the real him ...also the title Bohemian Rhapsody, would be a metaphor for breaking convention, being different.

All the voices you hear in the beginning of the song belong to one person: Freddie Mercury, lead singer of Queen.
What you call hard; is what progressive rock is. It goes from classical music to the hardest rock you have ever heard.
This is the best song ever over a billion views from a band from the 70s and Freddie died in the early 90s the internet wasn't even a thing then. When Freddie died the world lost the most talented musician off all time..
You are indeed correct Sir. That shit was most certainly "lit". I shall continue watching the rest of this reaction. I'm at 7.25 at the time of this post.
Do more of these Simba, people love this shit man.
I grew up during this area and we all thought it was about a guy committing suicide and the second thoughts he had as he was dying, it a rock opera song, so he is asking the gods to allow him to live but in the end he dies.... that’s what we thought it was about
Make sure you check out a few more of their songs before seeing the movie
Great reaction its golden for me to see others experiencing this iconic music for the first time.
Don't stop the music, never.
A few points, 1) not listening to different genres or music I absolutely agree you are missing out, one doesn't have to like every one of them, but try something different, who knows. 2)the vibe you get early in the song that it's been in movies before I get, I don't specifically remember a film this song was in, but I think the overall feeling is in a lot of movies....great reaction man
QUEEN = GOAT. Period. 💯💯 THEY ARE TIMELESS. THIS IS MY 12 YEAR OLD SON'S FAVORITE SONG. HE KNOWS EVERY WORD! LOL. CHECK OUT "SOMEBODY TO LOVE" LIVE VERSION!! AMAZING!! RIP FREDDIE MERCURY. 🙏🙏
Your reaction is very forced, you've already heard it. There was never any need to pause it that many times, your not even listening to it. You spend more time talking about it, than listening to it and you cut off the end. It just seems to me, your cashing in on the reaction vids to Queen.
Omg full of smile on my face while watching your reaction video
This was so cool. It's such a good song, that I've heard hundreds of times. So to watch someone react to their first time hearing it, is just so cool!!! I loved your facial expression reactions, as well!!! Excited to watch more reactions to a wider selection of music!!!
Why does it matter if he cut the end of the song off if u all know the ending. Chill he didn't know
People are too much sometimes
@@RealSimbaTv right 😂 keep doing your thing man👍 smh
What's the point of a reaction video of you don't listen to the whole song you are reacting to?
I'm with you on the following; "That’s what most reaction videos do. If you want your precious video uninterrupted, don’t watch reaction videos." But, this dude could back it up 5 sec, do you feel me? That is what I am saying.
Love your reaction to the original, great phenomenal band Queen. Deeply missed forever in our hearts. 😊👑❤️🎼🎙️🎸🎸🎸🎹🇬🇧
🤣🤣 Hold up, pronounce that title for me one more time
I love queen! Another song I’d love to see you review since it’s a deep song is by a band called Blue October. The song is called Hate Me
Queen are brilliant, their music will live on for many more decades..
You need to review a UK band called "SWEET "from the 70,s 👍
Yes in movies. this song is in Wayne's World. Freddy Mercury had one hell of a voice.
Loved that you actually enjoyed it....kiiinda curious if you made more queen reaction videos after learning a lil about freddie
I love ur reaction to this song! 🖤🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Look at you expanding Simba! Awesomeness. Love to see your reactions to anything so I don't really care what genre! You are right if you just stick to one you are missing out. Thank You again.#simbatribe
Greatest song of all time
This song became more popular in the movie Wayne's World, in the car scene. Lol loved the reaction, keep expanding your music interest.
PLEASE watch Queen at Live Aid - before you see the movie. You won't regret it. 😊
Yes, this IS music. Wonderful experience watching this with you. Thanks.
When your mom gives you more cereal 1:25
Amen brother! Now you HAVE to listen to Queen's ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST. The song had huge impact on R&B and Hip HOP music
Lmao that face got me rollin
Why did you stop it before the song ended? Just because YT stick little boxes all over the screen doesn't mean the video is finished. Try playing it again without all the pausing and get the full effect of the musicianship.
You crack me up man much love keep doing what you do man
always will!
Hey there, I just subscied.. I am a big fan of QUEEN
Check out their Live Aid performance and Under Pressure at Wembley Stadium in 1986.
If you keep quiet you will hear one the greatest songs ever written. Also try Live Aid 85 Queen.
Simba!!!! This song was huge in the movie Wayne's world, I'd be surprised if that wasn't where you heard it. Check out Guns & Roses - November Rain...... that music video alone is incredible! Keep up the great work man
Like others, I was a little frustrated with the pauses, but only because I was worried you were missing the poetry. At the same time I enjoyed your observations, so... I don't know how you do that without pauses. Maybe back it up a few seconds to make sure you don't miss the lyrics, because Queen's lyrics, in most songs, are as important as the arrangement. Great reaction! (You're adorable, and I mean that in a old-enough-to-be-your-granny way)
Rhapsody is a musical /operaticterm that means 3 parts in one song, There are 3 parts to the @t being told so 3 different styles,
