Hi, this was another great video for ez drummer 3 from you, there are not that many videos on ez drummer 3 that go in depth like you do. Keep em coming!
Another great video, Bill! I haven't used the Song Creator function yet but may have to give it a whirl soon. Looking forward to your song writing video that you mentioned in another comment!
Good point. I thought about it. I didn’t want to stretch the video too much longer. I will definitely do a song writing video in the future. How I come up with stuff.
Hey Bill: I paid for a tutorial through some outfit and it sucked . I learned more about easy drummer from this video than any place else. please do more!!!!
Great Video. Is there a fast way in dial the whole groove behind the beat... or pushing it a hair? Logic's Drummer has this feature and it comes in handy to quickly match the feel... lazy... rushed etc. Also "The Drummer" has amazing smart fills. Snip a region and a fill is created there. Use the dial to make it busy or less busy. One of the best is drag a region back a 16th to match a music break... and Logic builds a fill to end right there. Hard to believe these Drum AU companies are 10 years behind with those features. Thanks!
Good question. I will have to look and see. But yeah, apple’s logic drums feel more “AI” to me than EZD3. EZD3 feels more like set fills that you can build off of. I don’t think the band mate works like the logic drummer. A good idea might be to use the logic drums to come up with the fills and beats and drag the midi drums into an EZD3 track for the sounds you are looking for if you don’t like the logic sounds. Great suggestion and question. Thanks!
Hi Bill, looked at this vid again. Easy explanation. Wondering how to return the knob of snare to zero, I changed it, and I can't find the answer anywhere.
Thanks for the question and for checking out the video. Are you referring to the volume? I’m not sure what knob you are referring to. I’d be happy to try and help you out if I can.
Sorry for the delay, what I do that seems to work for me is one the song creator has created a song I will drag it down into the editor on the bottom. From there it opens up as sections, you are able to copy and paste any section you want in there, you can also remove and sections, or shorten them as you see fit. Again, I apologize about the delay.
Hi. Thanks, easy explanation. Wondering how you get the completed drum midi tracks from song creator into your daw? I tried to drag and drop into protools. No, must be something I am missing.
Hello there. I'm just replying to you after having watched this video. This is my first go-around with this software. I'm using Cubase 12 Pro and I was able to drag it into Cubase after creating a VST instrument track and choosing easy drummer. Have you done that with Pro tools? You may have to open an instrument track or something in order to drag it in. I hope this helps. I hate when I ask questions and they go unanswered but it's hard to answer everybody's question on your RUclips channel.

Thank you! What else would you like to know more about in EZ drummer? I will definitely make more videos.

Thank you Dave! Always great to hear from you. I am going to work on that one soon. I’ll probably at the very least get a song out of it.
It would be really cool to see how you use it with a riff or a couple of riffs already recorded.

Thanks for that, I’m using mt drums in reaper but was looking to get ezdrummer3 especially after watching your vid!
Thank you! I love the way it sounds. They’ve done a great job with capturing some great drum sounds and beats to use.

Thank you! That made my day! Anything in particular you’d like to see?

Hi thanks. very helpful. How do I duplicate a block in song creator, for example, a verse?

Let me try it in protools to see what happens. I have been using this in Logic Pro on Mac and it does drag and drop into Logic.
