    Oh there is a great recipe that can replace crackers or bread - baking the mix of flax seeds (that were soaked in water in advance) and wakame seaweed. It’s really delicious ♥️ and it doesn’t take much time.

    Question. Dr mercola sent out an email today saying that flax is the worst ever. And the resin is they are a lectin and were used for paint. What do you think about the lectin part? Ever heard this?

    • @GundryMDYT
      @GundryMDYT  6 дней назад

      Hello there! Flax seeds do contain lectins but they are still allowed on the lectin-free diet because when compared with other nuts and seeds they have a very low lectin content. 🙏

    Should we be worried about the phytoestrogens in flaxseed? I’ve always been confused about that!

    What about the phytoestrogens

    • @GundryMDYT
      @GundryMDYT  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi there! Plants do not produce estrogen or testosterone, the closest thing they produce is phytosterols. These compounds have a somewhat similar structure to some of the estradiols produced by the human body. We highly recommend consulting with your physician before trying any new supplement.

      But you said that soy contains phytoestrogens as well.
      Flaxseed also contains them

      Yes, phytosterols are a type of phytoestrogens!

      I think because of the phytoestrogen topic, Chia seeds are better.
