This phone would have been such an easy purchase if post-image processing wasn't a mess and the 810 didn't overheat. HTC corrected the overheating by throttling the 810. It definitely fixes the issue, although it's unfortunate the phone had to take a hit on performance in order to do so.
I'm so happy... I've never heard this dude talk so positive about a phone that's not an iPhone... This phone would be perfect with a finger print scanner... Camera is good enough for me... 😁🙌

As someone who in general doesn't like Android, I really want to see HTC succeed in the phone market. Their design is phenomenal, and I would much rather see an Apple and HTC world than a Samsung and Apple world.

Masterincommander i really hate touchwiz and find it really ugly. Never liked the deisgns of sony phones or the UI. Well the battery on the M9 is above average and it lasts a day thats all that matters to me. And camera isnt my main priority i only use the camera on a phone to post pictures on whatsapp, kik or instagram and am sure the camera on the m9 will improve. Other then that the M9 is better then the M8 in every other way.

I was gonna dump my Nokia Lumia Icon and get this phone. Last week I was at a museum taking pictures and the room's lighting was terrible. There were only spot lights on the displays, the pictures came out great. I'm keeping my phone and am gonna wait for the Windows 10 upgrade.

why are you not ok with the Camera? Last year everyone yelled at htc that the ultrapixel camera was quite ok in low light but the megapixels were to low. now you say that megapixels are ok, but low light performance is bad. htc must go nuts by now. you can never satisfy every costumer. at the end of the day this thing is not a camera, build to take photos, its a phone for calling people, and maybe some internet stuff, the camera function is not the main reason you buy a phone. if you want to take good low light photos get yourself a canon 5D mark III. but you will not be able to call your friends with it.

The samsung galaxy S6 also has a high megapixel count with 16Mp and still take amazing photos in low light conditions. Its not that the consumers are complaining about something HTC cant do. Granted the camera doesn't take very good low light photos but everyone knows how difficult it is to balance the aperture to get either good low lit photos or sharp photos. And it seems like nobody ever takes into consideration what the goal for the phone was. They even said this was not going to be a vastly different phone aesthetically. So in all honestly I think they achieved their goal.

What phone were you guys using? The battery on this phone doesn't last a long time between charges if you actually use the phone in between charges.
