Great! Thats the way. I am doing 18/6 for nearly 2 month now with ups and downs, as I tend to eat more in the weekends + not clean - so I lose weight during the week but gain it back (a bit) in the weekend. Frustrating, but I cannot keep up the IF for 24/7. Lost 3 kg though in the last 5 weeks, so its going slow. But I also keep a lot of water weight or sometimes hormal weight, depending on the time of the month. Today is monday and I am back on track and want to stick to the IF and keto for the next 21 days with no failtures!

Finally! Someone who actually understands the female body, especially after age 40. You didn’t even mention that, but after 20 years of living in a chronic calorie deficit by like 500 to 1000 cal per day, (very rarely going over it 1500 calories per day), I have become quite nutritionally deficient. I’ve also become extremely hormonal imbalanced (had a hysterectomy and thyroid removed also ) and gained 20 pounds while hard-core intermittent fasting. Extremely frustrating!! Besides my endocrinologist, you are the only one who has actually addressed this issue at length. I’m buying your book! Thank you for all the info!! 💞

Thank you for this info, I use to be morbidly obese and have lost 55kg + muscle gain, I knew my trouble areas would be my lower body, after many years of trying to healthily lose the weight I am down to my last 10-15kg and it's mostly my lower abdomen/hormonal belly fat area, this area has been the slowest to change and the main area I still have excess fat, I have just turned 30 (female) and have a goal to spend the next 1-3 years solidly working on reaching that final goal and getting to my peak fitness and health, I was obese at age 8 and by age 10 I was morbidly obese, so being overweight is all I have ever known, my body type is roughly 75% endomorphic and 25% mesomorphic and learning about this helped me profoundly with understanding how my body stores/burns fat and energy, upon discovering this video it's taught my what and why I had this issue with my lower belly, I will take this info on board so thank you!❤

I am perimenopausal and I had the belly fat (huge, totally lost my waist), my hair started to fall out, nails were brittle (always had strong nails), cried a lot etc, etc. I went to the doctor and had tests and to my shock I was low in vitamin D, it has similar symptoms to lots of other things. I now have a high dose of it (over 800mg daily). I have also changed my diet after learning that it is a different type of fat around the belly, so I have fish 3 times a week, chicken, avocados, broccoli and all that good stuff. I still have a naughty day at the weekend and I have cranked up on weight training 4 times a week with cardio on other days each session no longer than 30 mins. I now have a waist cutting in, my top section looks ‘fit’ (someone told me that last week) and I feel loads better. For my mental health, I was told about Maca, because I did not want HRT and I feel so much better, but it has taken around 4 to 5 months to feel this way and I still have a way to go but I thought my old self was fully gone, but now I at least am starting to see her again and she is smiling not crying. Good luck ladies, please don’t give up on yourself ❤

I just did your 10 min Pilates! ❤ I used to swear by these and my neck got messed up doing them, because I didn’t realize warmups are important for Pilates! but I love your beginners. I just skipped 2 that’s didn’t sit well with me. But the video was well worth it. Small movements make a huge difference in toning down! I still like Yoga but that is more for grounding your energy and it can’t be rushed in 15 minutes. Pilates makes you strong and slim without breaking a sweat. I do enjoy going to the gym once a week but not everyday. I have too much to do and too many distractions Thank you so much for the motivation ❤ ladies throwaway the spanx and just stretch for 10 minutes.

At 63 i decided to track my diet. Try to intermittent fast. In moderation. And have a cheat day. Overall I try to make plant-based choices. I try to lift heavier now. And get more walking in. And considering little bursts of exercise here and there throughout the day. Some people have good luck just getting dietitian advice. And of course research the type of vitamins that I need. Maybe a little dancing a little stretching. Will let you know how it goes

I once had to stop eating for 21 days due to a medical problem. I was only allowed clear liquids: water, green tea, vegetable bouillon, clear Gatorade and ginger ale. I don't think I was even getting 500 calories a day. I only lost 5 lbs. 🤬 I can literally starve to death and I would still be fat.

What about post menopausal hormonal deficiency. I have very super low Estrogen and Progesterone. My Testosterone was very low but Testosterone injections brought it up quickly. As for my E and P they're still very low even with HRTs but just started them about a year ago. I also have Hashimoto's disease. My belly is fat from top to bottom with a fat belly apron something I never had even after having two children. I've always been fit and eating healthy and now this happened and I am very frustrated. I've been trying to do IF but it's hard and tried to do keto and it's hard. I don't know what to do or where to start.

I haven’t had my hormones checked but ginger-pineapple smoothies a few days and on my cycle, helped me. I use to sleep on the heating bad, have to take ibprophen 800mg, would go through pads… exhausting and disgusting. But the smoothies helped now I make it an everyday thing. Pineapple, organic Chinese ginger, 3oz Greek yogurt, water.
Also take DIM and calcium D-glucarate for estrogen dominance.
Green grapes are good but they made me sleepy even if I only ate 4 grapes, I swapped those out with green apples instead + kiwi.
My results from these small changes have helped my blood sugar. I use to get so sleepy after each meal.

Women Amen!!! Thank you! I thought I was going crazy for having to eat more in order to loose weight I noticed it would work much more for me then doing calorie in and calorie out….. I’m so used to hearing lower calories is better but it’s really not!! When I do eat more calories I loose weight much faster!!! When I would weight lift which I’m getting back to now once my child goes back to school. I have to consume 2,300 calories just to get me through because I’ll burn half of them and then need enough nutrients to get me through the day !!! You are the only person I’ve found who has this kind of video live it !

Would this work for someone with celiac disease and taking a Lyme disease protocol that also had a hysterectomy at age 32 which I am now 52? It’s really frustrating I’ve had genetic testing I have the MTHFR gene and apparently I need enzymes to break down fat and proteins and carbs. I don’t quite understand all of that, but anyway , it’s called a Ginomind test from vibrant health, I feel like since the complete hysterectomy my hormones have never been the same. I do take estrogen and progesterone separately and bio identical T4 and T3 separately with selenium .

My bmr is around 1340 and im 15, F, and petite (5ft) i eat around 1600-1700 calories, i reverse dieted a couple weeks ago eating 2000 then dropped down to 1700 and havent seen changes. Ive heard people eating so much more and dropping weight and im just not sure why i cant loose weight. Im wondering if i have hormone imbalance because the only time i lost with was when i ate 1200 calories and dropped 10 pounds, which i know isn’t healthy at this point. Let me know what you think!

My situation is a bit different. I lost most of my colon after post-op ileus following a craniotomy to remove a large meningioma was misdiagnosed as a small bowel obstruction. My colon is 38 cm, and I lost my ileocecal valve. I am about 30 pounds overweight, and I have IBS and SIBO, also GERD. I'm on a double dose of PPI which has now caused a SIBO flare-up. I'm booked for an endoscopy, which will maybe provide some answers. I'm on a modified low-fodmap diet prescribed by a specialized dietician. Once I get some of this sorted though, I have to find a path to weight loss.
