The AdO new releases, especially the blue one, is pretty disappointed. I'm proud of you for not blind-buying!
I guess we become saturated and it takes a LOT to excite us these days. *sigh
I have had Hacivat on my peripheral wish list for years, too, and I just never pull the trigger. Thank you for the comparison. I'll have to sample the X version to see which one I like best because I don't love the pineapple in the original.

I will watch no matter your frequency Emy. You are a favorite. I must tell you my son and his girlfriend FaceTimed me from their recent trip to Milan when they stopped in the Fueguia boutique! I had no idea and he called and said "Guess where we are?". Omg I knew immediately! They said the person working was so generous and sent them with samples which I'll be eager to try. Yay, love your videos, and especially testing ones! I'm curious about Blue Madeleine but was kind of expecting it to fall flat, the notes promise a lot but I figured it may be lacking so interesting to hear your take. I have RM No 8 on my list to try and sample as I love fruity scents, so will definitely try and get my nose on it soon!
Unfortunately, Blue Madeline was a complete disappointment

Welcome back! I think you were reading the notes for Torino 21 instead of the notes for Torino 23 (although you were showing the correct ones on the screen), which is a tuberose/jasmine scent. I wore 23 for a day and the white florals were just too screechy for me. 21 is by far a better fragrance to my nose. Hundred Silent Ways X is so beautiful but it smells sooo similar to an Azman fragrance I already have. 😩 Ohhh now I must try No. 8. Great video!

Welcome back Emy! I would love to know what your thoughts are on the new Xerjoff Levar del Sole fragrance. I enjoy your honest review videos, quality over quantity is best for me. I have been testing Atelier Des Ors Blue Madelaine. It is on the dry down that this fragrance comes alive. On my skin I get the black tea with orange with a splash of milk and a light sweetness from the toffee. I am not sure if Blue Madelaine would be a summer or more of a fall scent. It has a slight similitude with ExNihilo Honore Delights and definetly not as lactonic and sweet as Blanche Bette which I had and decluttered because it was too beast mode on me. Looking forward to your next video!

Hey Emy, I was thinking about you the other day and that I haven't seen you in a while. Glad you're back. If I may give you a a bit of advice on Narcotic Delight... I had exactly the same experience as you. I wanted to blind buy, because I knew it had to be amazing, with Initio being one of my favorite houses. So I couldn't wait to test it (been trying to be good like you), and when I did... what a disappointment. It smelled like Psychedelic Love to me. But some weeks later I tried it again, and it smelled completely different! This time like some nondescript mish mash. But I intuitively I knew I had to keep testing, because testing twice and totally different both times?! And then finally, the third time it all came together and I smelled it exactly how it was supposed to be. I got the cherry, I got the tobacco, and all of the other delicious notes. I love it! So please keep testing!

Nice to see you back Emy! I just ordered a bottle of perfume from LuckyScent and was mad at myself that I forgot to get Blue Madeline for one of my free samples. After your review I don’t need to try it now! I do love Narcotic Delight but I got it for a real discount from a friend. Not worth the retail price, IMO.

Ok then I am cured from my fever to blind buy AdO blue Madeline. I am a sucker for Madeline cookies and I so wanted it to be the smell of that. I will wait until I sample.
I have to say that I’m disappointed in AdO lately. Last years pink me up and noir were similarly stunning packaging but not worthy the retail price.
The mind plays games with me though. I had pink me up on my list to buy at a steep discount. I finally got a decant while I’m waiting for the price I’m willing to pay. and am wondering now why I even felt I needed it. It’s the darn packaging. So cute.
Definitely sample this one first. Pink Me Up on the other hand, I love 😍
Don’t worry about consistency, I miss you but I understand you have a life. Could you please consider filming your makeup routine please? Your makeup is always stunning but understated, I truly resonate with your makeup preferences and style.
