I have this one. Hayetti Gold Elixer. I’m definitely not rich, but apparently I’m a bit rude. lol. I agree with her description. I wear it maybe twice a month just because I bought it.
I have the original Khamrah and it's so good! To me, it really smells like a spicy apple pie dessert without the boozy quality of Angel's Share or other similar fragrances.
It's an excellent fragrance! And yes, I think holds its own in comparison to Angels' Share :)

I think I may have decluttered my Musamam too early because all I originally got was citrus and spices and it wasn't a profile I was into. I think mistakes were made. It's funny because in my collection, the only ME scents I kept were like yours, Honor & Glory, Nebras, Kamrah, Shaghaf Tonka, and Amber Oud Gold. The Shaghaf Tonka is starting to be TOO almondy for me so it may need to find a new home soon. I also kept Jasmine Whisp which I think is a better blended EP dupe than Amber Oud Gold but the performance of AOG is stellar. Oh, and I can't forget about Oud Mood, best super cheap fragrance on the market.

Bois de Vanille sounds right up my alley too and i agree about Erba Pura. I tried a sample and immediately scrubbed it off, still ending up with a headache. But Ajayeb Dubai Portrait makes me weak in the knees, it's so good.
All the Middle Eastern cheapie fragrances I have smelled have this base DNA that is just not for me. It's very musky, almost like Erba Pura. And no thank you. But maybe I'll give some of these a sniff.
The only one I haven’t smelled that with so far is Shagaf Oud Tonka 😭
It is because that’s what Middle Eastern fragrances generally have always smelt like. In fact, Western houses like Xerjoff, Thameen and more are the ones that have been using Middle Eastern fragrance DNAs to create their perfumes, and not the other way around.
I’m wearing Shagaf Oud right now, today, and I couldn’t agree more! Looking for others that don’t have that heavy heavy muskiness.

I have Ajayeb dubai portrait and I wasn't sure about it until I let it macerate for a couple of weeks. Now I LOVE it! I have the OG Khamrah too, which I love on days when I want a sweet warm comforting fragrance. I wonder if it is worth having Khamrah Qawah too? I am attracted to the coffee and cardamom notes in it. Also on my list to buy is Rifaaqat (Babycat dupe) and maybe Amber grand (grand soir dupe). Their notes sound good to me but also quite different from anything I have.

Ajayeb Dubai smells more like sandalwood and oud, very masculine smell. The mango struggles to come out, but there is nothing really mango about it to me. It’s weird, I don’t get it.

I find it interesting you talk about two fragrances that I have acquired recently, one of them is Dubai portrait which I love but I feel it doesn't last very long and the other one that I find very frustrating is the Musamam white intense which I can hardly smell...and I bought it from a reliable source. Ugh I tested Erba Pura at night before bed. Literally didn’t sleep that night. Repeatedly tried to wash it off and it just lingered and lingered. For me I get ‘we went on a 2 week vacation and forgot a whole fruit tray in the fridge and it rotted’. Major ick.

Thank you! I never understood the fuss over this either. I can't stand EP either. It smells like this weird 1990s anachronism ('men's cologne/aftershave') mixed with fruits and bug spray. It's horrible on me. I'd like to smell it on someone else's skin to see if it's just my acid mantle that turns it so terribly.

Love Hayaati Gold Elixir, Ameer Al Oudh Intense and True Amber by Oud Kalakas. I have back ups. I think they are very good and beastmode.

why don't you tell us anything about their longevity?
If you know anything about Arabian fragrances, they last at least 5 hours and most last 8 plus hours
Speaking out of ignorance, Assad , oud intense, oud for glory last more than 8hr
Also have to say Laventure Femme and Laventure Rose both by Al Haramain are gorgeous ❤ the rose is my beast mode perfume bc its roses and berries scent that I’ll smell it on my clothes DAYS later and it’s only $37! It reminds me of Roses Vanille by Mancera

Did you spray it a few times and let it sit for a few weeks? They say that makes it get better. I have that one on my list so I hope it gets better to you.

I don't support clone houses as a general rule but I had to make a 'unicorn exception' for Lattafa's Khamrah. Mainly because it's better than Angels Share to my nose and doesn't really smell like a crass and overt attempt at a copy; something new is brought to the table which just makes it an entirely new proposition. It's just so delicious that sometimes I just pick it up off the shelf, twist off the cap and snort the atomiser with my eyes closed going ga-ga. Then when I've had my hit, I'll replace it on the shelf and toddle out of the room happily. I wear Rivalite Imperiale and Ambre Narguile so it's only natural that I'd go wild for Khamrah. Such a great fragrance for that price point.
Khamrah definitely grew on me. Thought it was overpowering at first sniff, but I appreciate the journey you get with this fragrance. It is sweet, deep and the drydown is unbelievably gorgeous. I have many fragrances, but this has to be the fragrance I cannot go without. Waited months for Musamam White Intense to come back in stock, now I'm just eagerly waiting for it in the post 😊
