Loved this episode! Really nice photos and it's awesome knowing what's behind a picture!
Awesome work guys!
Thanks so much! Really glad you enjoyed it 😊
Favourite pic was definitely the 10:56 one, so "vintage" looking and superb tones!
I have the Fuji GA645, it'a great "compact" medium format camera, perfect when you want to have a big negative but you want to take photos like with a point and shoot. The Fujinon lens is amazingly sharp.
Like the format. The conversation really brings more depth to the thing. Keep it coming. Also bring back This Week In Film.
Awesome! Thanks so much for watching!
Awesome pics ! The natural vibe always make it more compelling to watch, there is something to hang on.
DOPE VIDEO!! Those shots were killer, the flash with the older cars and the mode in front were crazy good! Good stuff y’all!
thanks dude!! gotta get you on one of these soon!!!
Thanks dude! Would love to see you do one of these episodes!
So glad you’re back 🙌🏻 Loving the content as always ❤️
Thanks so much! Glad to be back!
Thankyou!
I have a Fuji 645i, love that camera. Excellent results.
This was rad. Forgot to ask Derek about that photo in Kodachrome. Glad I got to hear the whole story.
Great stuff! I like this format.
Thanks so much!
Dude fantastic images!
Agreed! Derek killed it :)
Love seeing the photos, good and “bad”. They’re all nice! Now I wanna try cinestill 50D, I have a 35mm roll saved but now I want the medium format version haha
Thanks so much for watching!
amazing pictures and great video! well done guys!
thanks so much!!!
Loved this format Joey. Great photos by Derek. Thanks
thanks Marcus!!!
Thanks Marcus!
Love the flash photos with the classic car, the shots for Kodachrome mag. I've been shooting MF format for about 8 months now, just stocking up on some 120 Portra films as they are so darn reliable. Been considering that GA 645i or the GA 645W for awhile now (love shooting wide as well Joey). I think the GA 645i would be a great vacation cam, it will be mine eventually!
Thanks for this, Insightful. I'm looking to buy a travel-friendly medium format camera for portrait work. Looking into Fuji GA645i, Fuji GA645zi, and Fuji GS645, and the Fuji GS690iii. Great photos
I love this energy!
thanks!
🙏🏻for sharing ✌🏻
Thanks for watching!
Awesome episode. I agree with Joey about my favorite image. Extra stoked to shoot a roll of 50D on an upcoming trip to Tahoe.
Thanks for watching! Have fun in Tahoe!
First image stopped me in my tracks! :-)
I have the zi Version and i'm so fucking in love with it. It is one of my favourite cameras of all time.
Personally I like this video format! And having both of you works.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Thanks Robb!
I shot Cinestill 50D in 35mm form and i loved it! I can’t wait to shoot it in 120 format on my Rollei I just picked up :)
Have you guys had any flash problems like the common flash problems the regular ga645 no i has? Where the flash pops up whenever it wants? Thanks
That first frame with flash is just awesome. Thx for the review! I've heard that these 645 fujis are not very reliable but i think i would buy one anyway.
Definitely worth the money!
Get one!! I love it!!
Welcome back! I'm not too happy with the fact that you've given me super bad GAS for the Fuji GA645i, though. Hahaha :-)
thanks! glad to be back!! and yes, sadly I am regretting selling mine after making this video with Derek!
I have GA645 Wide version ( 45mm F4) and older GS645S ( manuel rangefinder with 60 mm F4) those cameras are very enjoyable !
Oh man, I love that rangefinder!
Finally the new video is out!
I know!! sorry ive been lagging. been having alot of stuff come up all at once. but hey, thats life, right? Ive got 5 videos filmed that just need to be edited. will be trying to get them all out asap!!!
No need to be sorry, every single video makes me happy to watch, I liked the new format as well, keep it up!
awesome!!!
How do you scan your analog images?
These were scanned by Dexter's Camera in Ventura, CA
Nice. I use white electrical tape on my GA645ZI flash. I liked the mag image the best. I shoot Kodak Ultramax 400 mostly for color and TriX. For 120 color, usually Fujifilmm 400H or Portra 160. Never tried the Cinestill film, it's never in stock when I consider buying it.
just to soften it to use it as a fill?
@@AwesomeCameras yes.
@@jdebultra I haven't tried this but I'll have to now!
16:25 interesting points
Does this mean I am up next?!
Hell yea
Guys I do not want to insult but these portraits could have been made much better ,you have to be careful not to cut out hands out of the frame and that nothing comes out of the model head like in this picture where the model is shot in front of the car and that tree comes out of her head .The portraits are fairly mediocre in terms of posing the model, please look for more challenging frames to shoot!
Otherwise, you have a good channel and good shoots!
Great photos, bad outfits
