🙏 Thanks for watching!
Just got mine and this video really helped understand the functions. Thank you!
That's so great! Thanks for watching and using the tutorial! Have fun with your Maonocaster!
Thanks Ben! This is my first time on your channel. I just purchased the maonocaster, headphones, and dynamic microphone for my podcast. Your video was so helpful. Already liked & subscribed to your channel!!
That's so great! Thanks a lot for watching and best of luck to you with your new podcast! What will it be about?
This is such a great portable & capable audio mixer!!
I think so too! I love it! Thanks for watching!
I got my NEO. Im so amazed on the audio quality.
That's so great! I love mine too! Maono makes some really quality equipment for a budget price. Thanks for watching!
Thank you this is a big help to my streaming live.
That's awesome! Good luck with your streaming! Thanks for watching too!
Thanks, Ben. This vdo was very useful for me. You clearly explained all.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching the review!
Ben, Well done Video! This will also go, as how a product audio/video should be made. Thanks a lot.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate that. Thanks for watching!
This looks really cool! Thanks, Ben!
It really is! I enjoyed using it a ton! There are a lot of cool things you can do with it. Thanks for watching!
Great review. Been looking at this over the last few days and I just ordered it directly from Maono. They currently have a 15% discount. And with free shipping I only paid €48. Absolute bargain
Whoa! That's awesome! I liked the Maonocaster a lot. The type of mic you use is important obviously. You'll get a better sound by using a higher quality mic. But overall, the Maonocaster is an awesome audio console. And you got a DEAL! Nice work! Thanks for watching!
I’m about to buy my very first interface, love the look of this but will it work on my Mac mini?
Hi! Thanks for watching! It should. It worked with my MacBook Pro. :)
Thanks for the video! Very helpful
You're welcome! Thanks so much for watching!
I want to pick one reverb setting and turn it on and off during a particular part of a stream. Your demo showed pressing the reverb button cycles through each setting which is not what I need. How do you just enable the reverb setting of choice, say ‘Hall’ then turn Hall off then back on again when needed without cycling through all the other reverb settings?
Hi! Thanks for watching! Hmmmmm I'm not sure off the top of my head. You could cycle through the settings during "words". That way the reverb would only work on certain words you are speaking. That's the only way I can think of without editing the sound in a DAW after the stream.
This video was very useful, i just have one question, is this audio interface good for recording vocals as i am a music producer and i have rappers coming to record songs
Hey! Thanks for watching! Yes, it would work for producing songs. The quality of audio would really come from the mic you used though. However, this audio console could be used in the studio for music production.
@@blogwithben thanks, I have 2 mics powerpak bm800 and audio technica's at2020, will both mics work fine?
What should i do if i want to make the audio pc and microhpone both plays on second streaming pc ? are both of them play at " streaming out " or should i press direct monitor so the mic can play in streaming out jack port ?
What’s the advantage to having a rechargeable battery? It sounds really inefficient, especially for a product that sits at your desk with continuous access to charging ports.
Hey! Thanks for watching! Probably for the "on the go" user. Not sure, but it's nice either way. Thanks again for watching!
Thank you for the infos . But im wondering why the sound i hear from your explanations sounds kinda bad quality. Thank you in advance
Thanks for watching and the feedback. I used my Maono mic and Shure SM7B Condenser mic to record the audio with the Maonocaster and Garageband. Not sure if the video audio in Final Cut Pro affected the sound, but I'll take a closer look at it. Thanks!
I only paid 30$ for it on aliexpress 11.11😊
Nice!!!
Wow!!!
Why my maono pd200x is not working with xlr cable? My soundcard is AMC2 Neo
Hi! Thanks for watching! Sorry you're having that issue. Have you tried using a different cable? It could be a faulty cable causing connection issues.
I tried plugging my laptop to the aux, and usb C but music cannot be heard during tiktok livestream :( Please help meeeeee
Hi. First I would like to thank you.
A small question please. How about auto-tune effect ?
Hi! Thanks for watching! I don't believe this model has the auto-tune effect.
Hallo Super Video ,
ich möchte mit diesem Gerät live streamen gleichzeitig aber auch musik laufen lassen , was für einen adapter brauche ich für iphone 14 ?!
danke
Thanks for watching! I'm sorry, but I don't speak your language. Are you asking how to livestream on an iPhone 14?
I want to do voice over with this, will this work on mobile?
Hi! Thanks for watching! Yes, you can use the AUX interface to play background music from your phone, and record directly to phones via the STREAM OUT output. :)
thank you for review
Thanks for watching!
Hi Ben. Great review. How do you think this would perform for audiobook recording? Presume the noise reduction would serve well to reduce room noise? As per the microphone, is the included XLR good for AB production? Or would a higher spec cardioid be advised? Thanks.
Hi! Thanks so much! I think this would be a good unit for audiobook recording, however I would probably get a higher spec mic. Just my personal opinion. These mics are great, but if you're looking for "dialed in sound" out of the box, then a higher grade mic will probably be best.
@@blogwithben Thanks, Ben. Package arrived today, but only the 'free gift' of XLR cable and mic cover. No sign of the studio and mic. Following up, but feeling scammed right now. Hopefully just an error on their end.
Whic mic you recommend is lewit 240 pro or rode nt mini usb
Can i use a dynamic mic with 6.35mm male connector to that box? never seen that connection before it looks strange.
Hi thanks for watching! I believe so. The input accepts XLR and TRS cables.
I've seen on many of these reviews about using a smartphone for music, but can you actually bring in a phone call (such as a call-in) for a two-person podcast with one person on the XLR microphone and the other person on the phone call? Does the TRRS cable provide the capability for the person on the phone to hear you? Or maybe through the Bluetooth. Thanks to anyone that answers.
That's a great question! Let me test it out and get back to you!
I’m wanting to stream live to second life on my iMac No video just karaoke. Do I plug that 3.5 jack into my iMac so it loops it back.?
Great video, subscribed and like! I'm new to all this and I have quite a bit of questions. I hope you would answer this; I'm planning to use this for 3 purpose; recording podcast, voice live streaming and zoom/gmeet call, can this do that? I'm using old macbook pro 2015, how's the connectivity to old macbook pro 2015 with usb connection?
Thanks so much for the sub! I really appreciate that! The answer to your first question is yes. I'm not 100% sure about your second question because I'll have to double-check what type of ports the MacBook Pro 2015 has. I assume it has USB-A ports. If that's the case, you could use a USB-C to USB-A adapter like this one www.amazon.com/Elebase-Upgraded-Connector-Chargers-Interface/dp/B07LF72431/ Let me know if that helps, and thanks again!
@@blogwithben Yes, it does have mostly USB A. One last question! does it accept input from guitar/other instrument and I still can have input for the music from phone?
I'm having a hard time understanding loopback. I use 2 PC's to stream, one for gaming and one for streaming duties. I would like to be able to have game audio which I have coming from a 3.5mm jack separate from my mic audio, both coming from the C2 Neo. Maybe, I can use the 3.5 game audio going to the aux port, and then use stream out to the line in port on my PC for a separate game. What do you think?
Hey! Thanks for watching. This is a deep question so I'm going to have to do some research and get back to you. Offhand, I'm not really sure what the solution is. I'll let you know what I find. :)
Hi, can i hear a second pc( streaming ) audio in my headset? With the mixer connected in my gaming pc
Hey! Thanks for watching! That's a great question that I don't have the answer to unfortunately. I'll have to review the user manual and see. You can download it here if you'd like. www.maono.com/pages/moanocaster-amc2-neo-audio-interface-manual-drive-download
I’m using this on my pc, how do I make it to where when I use the pitch presets my friends can hear it on discord?
Thanks for watching! Hmmmmm I'm not 100% sure. Your output audio and pitch presets should work on Discord if they can hear your regular output audio. That's strange that the presets aren't working in Discord. They can hear your regular audio on Discord but not the pitch presets?
I'm not getting any sound through my headphones any idea why?
Hmmmmm that's very strange. It could be a cable issue or a headphone issue. Have you tried other headphones to see if they don't work either? Also, is the headphone volume turned up?
How to connect to a speaker and use the speaker for the headphone
Excellent
Thank you so much 😀
So... I have X2 Simmons 12" drum amps with Alesis drum kit and the AT2020 XLR microphone. The problem im having is the volume on the mic is Super low. My mic is plugged into the Simmons amp through a phantom power supply and impedance transformer (CP8201).
My goal.. Just want to have some fun with the kids by changing their voice and blah blah. Im not doing any podcasting or youtube recordings. Currently I have to scream into the mic to hear anything (and yes im speaking into the front of the mic).
Would this be a good option for a mixer or what would you recommend??
Hey! Thanks for watching. Yes, this would be a good fit for what you're trying to do. It's obviously not a super pro setup, but it's by far a great budget audio console. The voice changing and volume levels are actually really good and fun to play around with. Your kids will love it! Thanks again for watching!
Is it useful for obs live stream?
Thanks for watching! I've never used OBS before, so I can't say. However, this console is compatible with a ton of different live streaming platforms, so I'm pretty sure it would work.
whats the difference with maono neo gen1?
Hi! Thanks for watching! I think the AMC2 has more audio features. I haven't tested the NEO Gen 1 though.
Can we bring a call in guest for streaming?
Hey! Thanks for watching! I'm not 100% sure. I'll have to check the user manual. You can download it here if you'd like. www.maono.com/pages/moanocaster-amc2-neo-audio-interface-manual-drive-download Thanks again!
i bought it from Amazon but guests are not supported
Should i put in there my headset (hs65)??
The audio coming through my headphones when plugged into this mixer has a lot of static whenever sound plays. Any idea on how to eliminate that?
Thanks for watching! Hmmmmm that could be caused by many things. Try using a different cable to rule that out. It could also be an "environmental" issue. If you have a bunch of other electronics around your recording devices, then interference/static may happen, unfortunately.
Squarock commander M1 vs AU AM200
Which is best ?
Hey! Thanks for watching! I've never used the Squarock Commander M1 so I can't really say. I'll check it out though. Thanks for the suggestion.
How's the direct monitoring? Is there zero latency or a slight noticeable difference?
Hi! Thanks for watching! From my personal experience, there wasn't much latency. I didn't really notice a difference when recording audio.
@@blogwithben what about the sc1 from fifine?
Thanks Brother
Any time! Thank you for watching!
Is it recommend to use thile while plugged in to a pc and its charging?
Hi! Thanks for watching! I wouldn't. I would charge it prior to using it. :)
hey, does the direct Monitor have a delay? I really need one without delay or at least one where you cant tell if there is a delay
Thanks for watching! I didn't notice much of a delay. Keep in mind that this unit isn't a $500 pro unit, so there may be some delay, but I didn't notice any. Maono is typically a great brand with quality products. Just FYI. :)
@@blogwithbenThx for the respond, Im currently in need of some device that is simple to use with In ear Microphone feature cuz I need to get myself a IEM headphone due to my Skin. I have neurodermatitis and I figured that it makes my skin itch after couple hours but the problem is that I cant talk properly with sound isolated headphones, thats why I need one to hear my surrounding and myself
@@blogwithbenDo you know any device for my problem? I cant find one good device on yt
Hey, so I have my Pd200x connected to it. I understand if Xlr connection the mic won't have RGB lights. But can I plug in both the usb and xlr to the AME2? So technically it's using xlr voice quality? Or the usb?
Hey! Thanks for watching! Let me test it out and get back to you on that one.
thank you !@@blogwithben
@@ashxen-3829I have also own a pd200x is there a big difference in the audio quality using the maonocaster over the usb-c?
What is the route to the camera?
Hi! Thanks for watching. Are you trying to hook a camera up to the Maonocaster?
I have zero sound coming from the line out anyone know out to fix this?
Hey! Thanks for watching. Sorry you're having that issue. It could be a lot of reasons, but have you tried using a different cable?
Can we record guitar using this
Hey! Thanks for watching! You can plug a microphone in it with an XLR cable. I haven't tried plugging a guitar in, but I assume it would work if it was using an XLR cable. I'll have to test it out and get back to you. :)
Crazy how good budget gear has become.
It really is! I was honestly impressed with this little console. It's great for an entry level podcaster or anyone on a budget. :)
does this one have a monitor headphone delay?
Hi! Thanks for watching! There wasn't much of a delay that I could notice. :)
So can I use this as like a sound bar ?
Hey! Thanks for watching! What do you mean when you say "sound bar"? You have three recording options with the A B & C soundpad buttons. So, you can record sounds and play them back with those three buttons. Is that what you mean?
Sorry I meant sound board , but yes thank you for answering my question .
how is the build quality? is the body metal or plastic?
Hey, thanks for watching! It's plastic. Doesn't feel cheap, but it isn't solid metal or anything like that.
Reverb level adjustable manually ?
Hey! Thanks for watching! You can change the reverb type and volume level, but not the actual "reverb level".
@@blogwithben Thanks.
Can it be overcharged or can I just keep it plugged in all the time
Hi! Thanks for watching. Yes, it can be overcharged. The manual says for safety, please stop charging after the battery is fully charged to avoid overcharging. :)
@@blogwithben this will only be used at my PC. It will never be used for portability purposes it will always be stationary. Will it still have to be charged
Tôi có dùng cái này để hát karaoke được không ạ ?
Yes, it can be used for many purposes. You can definitely hook it up to your computer and sing karaoke. :)
can you use this and run it through OBS Studios?
Thanks for watching! From what I can tell, yes you can. I've never used OBS Studios, but everything I've read online says that they are compatible. :)
My line out is not working at all. Zero sound
i owns 1 phone 13 and i am a DJ, i has I Rig, Just wanted to see how or If??? it would Enhance my Sound being i Streams on Tiktok???, We Shall See Today???😂, i hopes it Helps, i am charging it up thru my 2019 Macbook pro that… Has USB Cord, i just ordered another MIC Too, They Both Use XLR Cords,
Thanks for watching and I'm curious to hear what you think!
You lost me at "MacBook" 😭😭
Yeah sorry about that! I'm a Mac guy. Lol.
Okay so I have a few questions. I have this exact mixer. The thing is that it only works / records when I'm in the StarMaker app which is where to be fair I want it for when I'm singing.
However I want to also podcast and I have a Macbook pro laptop and I tried to set it up in garage band and I ran into a slew of troubles there.
I don't know what you should use to start a podcast to begin with. Also my mic is a audiocondenser technicana so that's what I use so I know I'm good with the phantom button.
Can you help me out?
Hi! Thanks for watching! It should work perfectly with Garageband. What issues did you run into?
Can we bring a call in guest for streaming?
