Just as an FYI, I got this shortly after this review. I used it for a couple of months but, was limited to dynamic mics. I then got the AU AM-100 which has dual XLR and phantom power. It has a few more features and, last week I took it out to do a remote at a local coffee shop. It worked great and I was able to use one condenser mic and one dynamic. Low cost and effective. If all you are doing is voice the Maono caster mic is not terrible. Just for fun I looked of Maona and it means "Visions" in Swahili
Oh I didn't know that. Yes, I love the Maonocaster better than the Lite version but they sent me this one first. I almost didnt' make this video because I thought no one would watch it, it's one of my post popular videos now.

@@gregoryrothwell3640 i connect it in My cellphone. At Pod1 then i use livestreaming app. Like KUMu. In use dynamic mic or the Moano mic that comes in the pckage i bought.
@@merjaymermanph Thank you I was using me Apple IPhone and plugging into the music input. Everyone said the sound was not good. I will try the pod 1. Do you use the pod 1 for music or karaoke tracks then another input for live streaming
@@gregoryrothwell3640 pod 1 to 3 will do.. music input , u can use bluetooth connection or wire. Mine, im using my ipad for music source and an iphone for pod 1… you can have always the two options bluetooth or using wire, if your device supports it. Like all apple products, it has only lighting for iphones, for mac u can use the regular 3.5 mm, for ipad u can use usbc, or the older model(3.5mm)…. I use, dongles usc c to 3.5 for my ipad, and belkin connector for my iphone

Tks for teaching us the Maonocaster Lite ,I tried to do LIVE with Maono with the background music from my PC, it didn't go on the LIVE output broadcast It was only me that I can hear with my earplugs that's all, my guest and others cannot be heard. I am using streamyard. thank you for your reply.

Awesome tutorial....so helpful. You got me up and running with my Maonocaster Lite at last! Quick question: my Maonocaster Lite didn't come with a mic and I was missing two cables. What cables did you use to attach your comica to the maonoacaster lite? I am really struggling to find the right mic. I have a audio-technica 2100USB but the sound is not quite where I want it to be. Hoping for a little guidance on the right connections.

That was the most comprehensive tutorial I’ve heard on Maonocaater Lite. Thank you. My order just came four days ago. My question is, is there a better way to have a call come directly through the sound card and not on the phone? I connected my iPhone with the sound card through Bluetooth and it worked well, but when I tried receiving a call, it just stayed on the phone and didn’t give an option to answer through Bluetooth. This isn’t great for an interview especially with a guest that away from the studio. But can you do that through some recording app like the GarageBand or other?
Its a good investment. I earn in my stream because of the improved audio quality of my voice when singing

this was so amazing...I can't begin to express how much help this is to my podcast. I have had issues with audio when having multiple guests. I am curious what happens when I have more then 2 guest. How can I hook up multiple microphones. Does this work well with riverside fm or Zoom?. I also am going to check out Garage Band...wow how awesome is that I been using Audacity!

Thank you for the review. I just got this and I found that there is a great deal of noise while the console turns on only with earphones plugged in. I didn't connect anything else aside from the earphones. I wonder whether you have had this issue as well. As I plug my earphones to like computer or iPhone, I did not hear that kind of noise. Therefore, I believe that the noise doesn't come from the earphone. Thank you for answering in advance.
I have cable #3 so I use that one but I think the Bluetooth connection, not so great.

There are so many, I've used Bossjock. I think there's a free version to try. Ferrite is also good. Those I've used and have had positive feedback for. Good luck brother!

If you put 2 mics in would you be able to record the 2 mics on 2 separate tracks within garageband? I have been trying to figure out that setup but not sure what to do to get 1 mic recording on one track and another mic recording on another track.

Hey Tammy, my version of the Maonocaster Lite has a minor difference. On the right sided buttons, the bottom left one reads "loop back" instead of "OTG music". Please could you do a tutorial on how exactly the loop back function works? Thank you!

Loop back is highlighted and then when you hold the custom button at the bottom it will record your custom loop
Why does the Denoise button have so much robotic background noise? I'm wondering if this is any different in other Maono soundboard models?
By connecting it directly to the ipad etc thru cable, is it only for power/charging purposes? Or both power/charge and for it work?
In the video you still activated bluetooth, Will it work connected thru cable only or still need bluetooth to work in ipad/phone?
It still works without cable but I like having the cable there and it doesn’t power the device.
What settings is best for recording vocals? I have the maono lite bundle now, I'm a newbie, and I don't knoe the right tune for low, mid, and high. Thanks!
Since everyone's voice is different it's really hard to say. You have to tweak it to where you think it sounds best.
Hello have a question to ask you thinking about doing a podcast, but I don't want to go live right now so how can I go into my introduction. And then do a live audio so I can talk to guests with seeing them, plan on doing Bible studying and recording everything
I can't for the love of me get Garageband to read chnnel 1 when my Maonocaster Lite is plugged in. Anything special I need to do, other than using the adapter that fllowed with the product? The adapter might be defect.

This little guy only takes 3.5 mic jacks, unless you have a usb to 3.5 converter. If you want to do a mix minus I recommend getting the Maonocaster, the bigger one. That has xlr inputs though

Have you tried this on an IG live or tiktok? Can viewers hear the effects in real time? (Mine can’t) I plugged the pod outputs directly into my iPad and phone and neither worked…I can hear it just fine through headphones-my audience can’t though
