I'll give credit where credit is due.. Pearcy is a great guy, very approachable and continues to carry the rock n roll torch. He's more dedicated in his mid-60s than most 20-somethings are that's for sure! And to his fiance Kristi Adair.. she's the lady behind the drums taking photos, helping him switch out his wardrobe (which she constantly designs / redesigns), marketing, website publicity. She's so awesome and good for SP. Keep on rockin' in 2023 and beyond Mr. P!
You know what - Mr Pearcy looks fit and great and he's out kicking it out - and that deserves much respect. The band sounds great. Front men have it a bit tougher - getting old doesn't change how the guitar sounds but it can play hell on the voice. I say eff it - keep it rolling. I've seen Ratt in big arena's and I've seen Ratt at big festivals and I've seen Mr. Pearcy in smaller venues and you know what? They've all been great - whether blowing the power at Irvine Meadows (I was there ) or falling off the stage and breaking his leg at Rock Fest in WIsconsin (and I was there for that as well) - I guess that show wasn't great after that but the point is Mr Pearcy is the voice of Ratt and keep on rocking!
I was at this show…thanks for posting. If SP comes to your town go see him…the audio on this clip (not anyone’s fault obviously) doesn’t capture the kick in the gut the bass gave that night. What a night, and got to meet him after the show. Super cool guy.
Honestly Stephen sounds great with this lineup he has right now. Might just be best for him to keep this lineup for the remainder of his career and continue as a solo artist. He seems happier doing this instead
Don't really know why but I keep coming back for more, the voice and the band isn't what it used to be but f**k pearcy is a infectious when he's on form 🥳🎸☺️💫👍
Stephen Pearcy is way more of a class act than he was ever given credit for. I met him in the 80s and he had it together and was very clear headed. Nothing like the image that has become his persona.
Band sounds great! I'd sure like the see the remaining members get it back together one more time. Let the last stay in the past. Life ends in a heartbeat!
Saw Ratt a dozen times in the 80's. They were a "good time" band. Just isn't the same without Juan or Warren in there but , RIGHT ON to Stephen for keeping it going . Still cool to here the tones and his rocker voice.
Listen, wicked cricket,l saw them at Madison square garden in new York, they opened up for motley Crue,at Madison square garden in new York city, when their first e.p. came out!?
Erik played here in Pickerington Ohio…never missed a note……but had a heart attack right after the show! Got him here to Mt Carmel hospital and saved his life, 2 stints. Glad so see him back!!!
I would love to see ratt with the remaining original members that are alive, but obviously that's not going to happen. With that being said, this sounds great, love that Stephen Percy is keeping it going, he's awesome
Saw Ratt in 2007. Definitely one I'll never forget. Great to see these tunes still rolling regardless of who's playing them. All members past and present will never be forgotten.
I have to say I'm impressed. I saw Ratt in the 90's with Saigon Kick in a small club in Chicago. The lead singer from Saigon kick exposed himself and was booed off stage. Not too long after that they changed their music style and had a hit song. Those were the good ol' days. :) Stephen Pearcy / Ratt continues to be one of my favorites.
Saigon Kick never changed their style. They had a hit song, but their style remained their style throughout all 3 albums of theirs that I have. Their hit was just a ballad. Just like Extreme or Mr Bigs hits were ballads but was not at all like the rest of their music either.
@@stevefernino That actually isn't true. When I saw them live, they were much heavier. They went the more ballad route afterwards. They did change a lot before becoming mainstream.
@@johnlicata8102 I seriously don’t know what you are talking about. They had ballads on every album, but remained heavy for the majority of their songs throughout Saigon Kick, The Lizard & Water. The only difference being the Lead singer was not there on the 3rd album and the Guitarist took over lead vocal duties. I saw them live on the Water tour (3rd album). Their hit song was off of the second album The Lizard. No such shift to a more ballady sound.
@@johnlicata8102 they went mainstream on the lizard album with love is on the way. It was their only hit But the lizard had some of their heaviest riffs. And Water still had heavy riffs. Unless you are talking the band long before the first album released I can’t imagine what you are talking about as LIOTW was their only mainstream success it was in the middle of the first 3 albums and they had the same sound throughout for the most part.
After the thing started, I was all like, "I need some Cheetos!", so I went to get some but it turns out they were the big pillowy baked kind, not the hard, gnarly medieval fried kind.
Stop calling it RATT it's Stephen Pearcy only doesn't equate to ratt I love Johnny Monaco met him with LA guns which has the same issue it ain't la guns no more just coz u have 2 guys from the original band
O MUNDO DO HEAVY METAL CONTINUA MUITO FORTE EM 2023... MAS NADAS DE HAIR METAL GLAM METAL..E PURO HARD ROCK JÁ NÃO EXISTEM COMO NOS ANOS 80... RATT, GREAT WHITE, WINGER, GIANT, DEF LEPARD,..ETC...

Stephen sounds as great as ever...and this band he has...this freaking band... AMAZING!! THIS lineuo is pure...raw..fun and talent!! Better than any RATT of the past 20yrs
Me and Bros snuck into Kiss creachers of night show early they tuned up to Ratt Lack of communication we were on Black Cat Roadys were yelling telling us we were Locked in because they smell our weed 80s music people
This dude voice has been gone for a while, toasted, he never was a concert type of singer anyway, a studio singer yes. Now lets hear the haters commenting, lol.
These hired guys played it better than the original members ever did. Steve could .. could i say.. sound much better if he'd stop talk singing as he just being lazy most the time. But hes not 25 hes what almost 70 years old now.. and the make voice never stops changing throughout life. So no one cant really say to steve, you should know when to give it up bc obviously people keep buying tickets. I will say sometimes no only are these vidoes sometimes hard to watch but kinda sad in a way... sometimes getting older is a great. Thing.. and other times it can really really just suck! LoL
RATT really started rolling in 84 when I was 16 in highschool, sucks WARREN isnt up there, WARREN IS A GUITAR 🎸 GOD, absolute legend. No Warren no RATT., Great for Steven to keep the music alive so many of us grew up on. WARREN is the soul and true sound of RATT. Warren is one of the most talented guitarist ever in my humble opinion. Where does the time go😮
Band is tight, but Stephen's voice has been shot to hell for some time now. He can't even come close to hitting the high notes. He's just not doing the songs justice and acts like he's phoning it in onstage. Sorry to all the Stephen nutswingers out there, but let's face it -- his best days are way behind him. Cue for the backlash in 3, 2, 1...

Keep doing your thing Pearcy….Rock legend… Johnny Monaco guitar leads are killer… great addition to the band

Bass player needs to learn the Croucier dance moves ha ha...wish I could learn them...Guitar player did the good Schenker sway
This is great! Was this a ticketed concert or one of the free ones off the casino floor? Wow...would have loved to have gone!
Is was a free show in the Wolf Den. Big crowd and seating was very limited due to a large number of reservations.
@@MichaelCDreimiller That is very cool! You cannot beat that!
