I was quite surprised that its pretty light and thin for a 15 inch laptop. I was also surprised that it couldn’t charge via usb-c. Still pretty value for money imo.
Your reviews have helped me for years, I feel shameful for not having subscribed earlier. Thank you for all the help throughout the years mate! Great content as always!
This is a solid review, the way a review should be. A lot of the reviews nowadays come from people who got into youtube for profit, but aren't good at reviewing or tech in general. Keep it up!
@@shawonshett3603 The question was not for me but I refunded mine because of the ‘poor’ battery (4hrs max). The screen is obviously amazing as its OLED, but it gets tiring real fast (personally). Since my main priority was testing the battery, I didn’t try out gaming, coding or anything. For working, Im sure it would suffice as its 512GB 16GB RAM - it’s more than enough, it’s thin and nice in hand, a bit weighty for a laptop this thin though. However, if the battery life matters, search for a different laptop
I recently purchased this laptop and most of what he said is pretty accurate review. I only disagree with the battery life. This is by far my biggest complaint about this laptop. I get maybe one hour of activity on full charge before I get low battery warning ⚠️ and when I do get the low battery warning It IMMEDIATELY shuts off after the warning. Not even enough time to get to a charger. Maybe my battery is defective but that's my experience
Your battery is faulty, 15 watts from CPU + 15 watts from GPU + 5w IO and screen would allow you to get more than 1 hour, if they would be blasting to the maximum of course. But as you probably talk about normal usage, 5-6 hours should be it.
I have been looking to buy this laptop, Thanks to you and your awesome review I know understand and know a lot more about this specific laptop and laptop displays, monitors, ect💪

My previous laptop (a secondhand HP I don't know the model of) died recently after a year of trying to repair it - and I've been pretty tired of being stuck with my phone only. I think I'll get this one thanks to your review. It seems like it can run Terraria and Ultrakill smoothly enough as well.
I just bought the AMD Ryzen 3 7320U version of it they have on Black Friday sale and the backlight bleed is absolutely awful. It's a glowy haze no matter what settings I use, from the Windows settings, to the Radeon settings. I've had cheap monitors before and they aren't this bad. I don't know if they basically gave the worst panels to the Ryzen 3's for the $199 cost for Black Friday and left the better one for the Ryzen 5 version or what.
Is this laptop a Google Chromebook or a actual laptop from HP? I don't want a Chromebook but good , fast reliable laptop to replace my old slow machine i currently have..

Good review. However there are few variants of Asus Vivovook Go 15. Not all variants are with OLED display, there is also IPS one with 8GB memory. What I like about this laptop, is the price and what you are getting as package.
Thank you very much for this video, I just bought one myself. Is it okay that chose a 3840 x 2160 resolution on the monitor that's connected to it? It's working perfectly fine and much better than the recommended 1920 x 1080. Want to know if in the long run it will either drain the battery life faster or damage the laptop in any way...thanks in advance and again, thank you for your videos. I watched a few, always good stuff. Take care, Viktor
Heyy congrats vik on the new laptop And no the display won't damage your laptop in anyway! Just put down the resolution if you wanna save battery Thanks for the kind words
@@TECHDROIDSYT thank you so much ! is there any monitor that you recommend for work that's 32 inches or around there? I got an lg one with 60 hz refresh rate over one that was 100 hz cuz it looked way better in terms of quality of the image. But now that you say it's better to go back to 1920 x 1080 than it won't be much of a difference than the other one. i still have 13 days to return the monitor... thanks in advance
By the way, Asus offer the ASUS Vivobook Go 15.6" OLED in 2 CPU choices; Intel N305 or the AMD Ryzen 5 7520U. The AMD model costs more, but I'm not sure if the extra expense is worth it over the N305. What do other people think?
None of it is worth it if its on board graphics with no option to upgrade RAM. I'm stuck with the N305 and great onboard graphics with 8GB RAM that can't play anything better than League of Legends on medium graphics due to memory limitations. Absolutely retarded specs, would not have chosen this laptop if they were upfront about no RAM upgrade. Who has Windows 11 with 8GB RAM it's ridiculous. Laptops in the bin
@Jonathan-L I had just found out its soldered so I was angry with this comment, if the one you go for has these specs and at least 16GB RAM then you'll be fine if it's a reasonable price, I'm just mad because 8GB non upgradeable is really bad these days, when with 16GB I know it will play Metro, WoW Classic, League, Skyrim and many other older mid range games easily, so I'm pretty devastated by the soldered RAM chips
@Jonathan-L If its DDR5 16GB with the i3 N305 then you're laughing for gaming, the integrated graphics will use 4GB of the RAM for itself which is great when it's DDR5
