    There's an Easter Egg inside of an Easter Egg on this list! When Batman lists off teams like Suicide Squad he mentions Fox Force Five. Fox Force Five is Mia Wallace's (Uma Thurman's) fictional all female assassin group from her failed T.V. Pilot in Pulp Fiction.

    I'm pretty sure that Green Lantern line about not getting invites from Superman is a reference to The LEGO Movie where their friendship was obviously not as important to Superman as it was to Green Lantern.

    • @darthdmc
      @darthdmc 6 лет назад +3

      which was a nod to 21 Jump Street, where their voice actors have a rocky relationship.

    • @AnakinSkywalker31
      @AnakinSkywalker31 6 лет назад +1

      darthdmc I'm not sure I would say that. Their characters are pretty much best friends in the 21 Jump Street series. The only reason they had lines together/were chosen to be those specific characters in The LEGO Movie was "because" Lord and Miller had also directed those movies.

    • @Compucles
      @Compucles 6 лет назад +3

      I thought "The Lego Movie" gag was a nod to how Green Lantern's movie bombed (not that "Man of Steel" was much better).

    In a way, this was the best Batman movie to this day. It acknowledged the rich history of the character, payed hommage to a big part of the extended Batman universe, for example via the rich cast of even the most obscure villains, and got Batman's personality right to a surprising degree. Sure, it was all an over the top parody, taking many of Batman's traits to its extremes, but still ...
    And btw, i fought GL claiming not to get Superman's invites sometimes would have been a nod to the LEGO Movie, where Superman seemed extremely annoyed with GL and trying to avoid him. But that link to the Justie League movie makes sense as well.

      Hang on, Batman is portrayed terribly in this movie. Not that I have a problem with that, it's a spoof and a key part of the story, but Batman is incredibly selfish in this film. Batman literally became Batman because he was selfless.

    It's great to see Warner Bros use all of Batman characters and villains through various sources of media over the years, use the fact that the Justice League would celebrate fifty seven years of its existence, use of the suicide squad title reference, and finally having Billy Dee Williams become Two Face. But I'm surprised that the Batsuits and Nightwing suit were not mentioned at all on this top ten video

    • @raegatan2110
