Yeah that should have been in the top 5! That Easter egg blew my mind!
The best ee is when you decode the messages on the cryptographic sequencer, (ever noticed the weird channels that were saying seemingly random numbers? Turns out those were a messages from scarecrow which teased batman Arkham knight and his plan to envelop the city in fear)
Beyond the fact that that Easter egg hinted Arkham Knight, the cool thing about it was that it actually required us to hack, or more accurately, decipher. I mean throughout Arkham games, we have used the Cryptographic Sequencer, but we were never actually decoding anything because using that gadget was just a Quick Time Event. The Scarecrow Easter egg, however, asked us to be the World's Greatest Detective and actually use Caesar Cipher to decipher Scarecrow's message! I wish Arkham games actually made us do detective work in the main missions, not just Easter eggs.
The scarecrow boat in arkham city def should've been on here. Idk y it wasn't, it shows what he's basically doing for the next game trying to find ways to spread the fear toxin throughout the city.

Theres actually secret messages you can find in the sequencer that will give you numbers and you translate them into letters. Its foreshadowing Arkham Knight

Even better than that, if you go to the recording at a certain time, you kind find three messages from, “Bruce’s parents.” It’s wonderful.
They foreshadowed the Double Joker twist in Arkham City gameplay!! When you go to the Joker's Funhouse (through the Steel Mill manager's office) and the have scene with Joker ("if you wanted to be cured so badly", etc.), use Detective Mode in gameplay and you'll see that the joker has no skeleton. This is because that version of the joker - the one that isn't dying - is actually Clayface, and so he doesn't have a solid skeleton. I was so shook when I found that
There was another great hint when you enter the steel mill and that video of the joker saying how much better he feels starts playing. At one point the frame shakes slightly and the “cameraman” can be heard coughing ...

Calender man was way bigger than just a line.. that easter egg expanded on to arkham origins and arkham knight.. one of the best easter eggs of all time

The best Easter Egg in Batman: Arkham series is the Calender Man words.
"I was at your begging" sends us to his prison break in Batman: Arkham Origins.
And "I'll be at your end" means his appearence in a crowd while blowing up the Wayne Manor.
And what about the Scarecrow's secret signals?
Banes suit is not an Easter egg it is an riddle ,a riddle required to battle riddler and complete that side mission

Why are you talking like it's been decades since an arkham game has been released? Arkham Knight is only 2 1/2 years old. Technically only 2 years old if you count the last dlc release.

Marvel #1 Fan! Lol. I literally just played through the Joker death ending a few hours ago. Arkham City style.:)
Just love the end of City's main story. The henchmen and Harley don't attack Batman out of shock yes but the way they move apart is almost out of respect for both him and the Joker, as if they lost their direction and goal. Joker fought batman and Batman fought back against him and his henchmen, without a part of that it all ends.

One that almost anyone seems to miss: Poison Ivy's Flower Shop in Arkham City is named "Baudelaire's" -> an allusion to the novelist Charles Baudelaire whose most famous work is entitled "The Flower's of Evil"

I was expecting for #1 or #2 to be scarecrow's warning of returning for Arkham Knight in the secret codes given in the radio frequencies you can find with the decryptor in Arkham City. I found that message he gave to be the most badass foreshadowing moment in the arkham series, by far better than the hidden Arkham City map in the Arkham Asylum.

You can find the corpse of Raz Al-Goul in Arkham Asylum. I really dug that Easter egg. It’s really easy to miss, too.
You guys missed that Clayface was in Arkham Asylum. He is in one of the high security lockups behind glass. He is pretending to be different people when you walk in, and if you use your detective vision you can see he has no bones.

Here’s an Easter egg I haven’t seen anyone talk about or point out, and it takes place in Arkham City: Catwoman’s prisoner number. Upon suiting up and hacking into TYGER’s comms with the swiped encryption key and the Cryptographic Sequencer, it is revealed that prisoner 4011 is in the Courthouse. Prisoner 4011 is Catwoman, and those numbers reference the start and end years for Volume 1 of Batman #1, that being 1940 and 2011 respectively. The reason it is Catwoman’s prisoner number that references Batman #1 is because that is the comic series she debuted in, though she was called The Cat back then. So the 40 in 4011 refers to 1940 whilst the 11 in 4011 refers to 2011. Hope you guys enjoy this Easter egg, surprised nobody else caught it, or if they did, shared it, considering this is Rocksteady Studios we are talking about and that number HAD to have had some sort of reference to Catwoman and not just be a randomly generated number.

In Arkham City there were random radio frequencies (u can search it up at YT) and a few with only a male voice saying numbers. Every number is a letter from the ABC (1=a, 2=b etc.) and one of these recordings is “I will return, batman” which is probably from good ol’ pal Scarecrow. It’s a bit frightening but goddamn awesome :)))
What about no bones joker? What about Clay Face in Arkham Asylum? What about Scarecrow's plans in Arkham City? What about more stuff on Calender Man in Arkham Knight? What about Solomon Grundy in Arkham Knight? WHAT ABOUT....AHAHAHAHAHA! Just make another few lists, would you.

What about that boat in Arkham City near the bridge to Joker's Funland? There's a secret hatch where you can enter and it is quite scary. That's also a cool Easter egg.
I've only been watching the gameplay movies all weekend so this was great timing! I would have added a few honourable mentions like Oracle's broken spine in Arkham Knight or the little nods to Superman but that's just me
One that should be added was when calendar man said “I was there at the beginning now I will be there at your end” bc in Arkham knight when you activate the knight fall protocol when you are at Wayne manor calendar man is one of the people in the crowd
You mixed some things up with number 10: In Arkham City there is just the positive test, the negative ones were added in the Harley Quinn dlc, since they canceled those plans

Crime Alley should have been higher. I remember when i first played Arkham Knight and was gliding over buildings and i saw the heads up display read "Crime Alley" and immediately stopped what i was doing, landed and searched which i then was able to pay my respects :"
Folder so you found Crime Ally in Arkham Knight? And you were able to glide to it? Stange, as I thought it was accessible in Arkham City instead and that you couldn't glide over it in Knight because Scarecrow took that ability away before we get to the fake crime ally. Hmmmmm

The most awesome easter egg on the entire series is the Scarecrow's radio channels on arkham city, whom gave batman a bunch of numbers that if you seek on alphabet, you can discover what he's preparing for the upcoming arkham knight

i think in the easter egg for arkham city where you can go back to the theater to find Martha and Tomas' chalk outline, the comment about the beginning and the end is referring to the knightfall protocol in arkham knight

i remember the hidden room, rocksteady gave that secret to us because no one figured it out when arkham city was close to coming out.

You forget that Superman and The Flash are mentioned a lot in Arkham Knight. You never see them in the Arkhamverse but they exists. IDK if the JLA exists tho.

Madsloth_ 26 if it makes you feel better, Harley having a baby (at least in the comics) is canon. In the Injustice comics she has a baby girl named Lucy that her sister raise. She only told Black Canary after she guessed it. The Joker wouldnt want her to have the child , so when she figured out she was pregnant instead of telling him she disappeared for a year (he didnt even notice she was gone)

Did anyone else notice that they teased batman Arkham knight all the way back in Arkham city?
Well if you find a certain boat in Arkham city, you’ll find that it has a hatch leading to the lower level of the boat however its locked to you need to use the hacking device to find the code to open hatch. The code was really hard to get at the time but you would soon figure out that the code was “City of Fear” and at the time nobody thought much of it as they were too concentrated on Scarecrows Hidden lair under the hatch but when I played batman Arkham Knight, when Scarecrow released the cloudburst toxin, he decided to rename Gotham the “City of Fear”. So this shows that rocksteady already had plans for Arkham Knight back in the making of Arkham City.
I personally noticed this the moment Scarecrow decided to rename the City but what about you guys?
Easter eggs - a treat you find that not many people know about, like the blood Dragon cave in Far cry Primal. This list - a list of things in games that EVERYONE knows about.
Not to mention #1 easter egg was so well hidden that Rocksteady itself had to show it to Arkham fans when City was annouced.
