@The Warrchitect Sure. Forensics systems, conversation systems, high level animation systems, props, some bosses, most of the level/design support (I did quite a lot of the scarecrow stuff), secrets. Theres probably some stuff I'm forgetting too
you know those enemies that can detect where you are when you use ur detective vision? stand behind them and let them see ur location and watch their reactions.
Also when you turn away and look back at Oracle's "corpse" it's changed into a Joker hallucination in the wheelchair her actual body's nowhere to be seen
Woah, if you think about it tho he’s right in Arkham origins (first one in the time line) he was in the gas chamber and replaced by commissioner lobe I think then I’m this he’s here at the end
I feel like the Zsasz detail is a reference from the side mission you had to deal with him in Arkham City because I think you can see phone box in the footage
Not quite. I found a video of some software relics from Arkham Knight, likely from early development. You have the option to scan Zsasz during the camera sequence. If you do, Batman will say "Zsasz. He's going to regret coming back to Gotham." My guess is that they intended to include him in a side quest, but chose to cut it out. Perhaps it distracted too much from Professor Pyg.
"I was there at your beginning, and I will be there at your end." ...so does that mean Calendar man knew Batman was Bruce Wayne the whole time?- Or did he just try to go there like everyone else once he found out in an attempt to kill him?-
in the comics of the game he made a deal with scarecrow to be when he "wins" batman, and after his identity is revealed calendar man problaly knew where he was heading, his mansion
You missed the best one, nearly all posters can change when you do double takes at the , for example on the first island where the black Canara club is there is a poster for Johnny charisma, which you can look at it once and it he normal, literally rotate the camera guy around once or twice and it'll be the joker and then change back Nearly all advertisments do it and so do the statues outside panessa studio's
In the middle of the story some thugs on the streets could transform into Joker as well. I thought "hey that guy's getup looks like Joker's. Wait a minute.."
21. When you play as police officer and sit waiting for your order, you can see a paper on the wall with photo of Henry Adams and announcement that he has disappeared.
@@henrlima87 nvidia physx and some of them are quite demanding especially the smoke effects, the ps4 version already run at 30fps you would not like drop under 30fps. And i agree some of them could be pulled off with other techniques but not to the same level of nvidia physx.
Arkham Asylum and City also had nvidia physx whenever you walked over a rug or some paper it was folding and flew around, pretty cool stuff. And asylum is 10 years old
It really is a shame though this game would’ve been SO much better without the frickin Bat tank. They should’ve at least used it in moderation and not made it half of the side missions in the game and 60% of the story.
9:26 The movie poster in Christina’s part of Panasa Studios, “The Terror”, was the movie shown during the Arkham City final Boss battle between clayface and Batman.
There are even novel stories in random open books around Gotham that you can actually read when you zoom in on them using Photo Mode. Rocksteady actually typed novel pages within this world. Holy shit!
The one at 9:52 gave back some memories lol. I used to not know what to do with the footage, so I kept putting in some random numbers, and then that happened. And for years, THAT was what I THOUGHT was the only way to beat it lmao.
I love interacting with GCPD, many years of working alongside each other and the interactions really show how rooted the partnership is between Batman and Gotham’s Finest
This game is so freaking beautiful. I really hope there’s a new Batman Game or a game set in Gotham and it would have a great Story Mode and a Online mode in which you Roleplay in it
A new Batman game was teased a few weeks ago by Warner Bros. and by some devs behind Origins, so it's definitely on the way, we'll likely see it next year... fingers crossed.
I feel so bad now that I found out that the officer blames himself for shooting. I started a new playthrough to finally finish it yesterday and found this out today.
The Arkham series is one of the best game series ever, and nearly perfect as a trilogy. If there was any missed opportunity there, it was not having a splitscreen co-op mode with Batman and Robin (or Nightwing, or Catwoman).
That's exactly why this game is amazing. I love it when the details are thought out and planned. All the death screens, all the dialogue, plus the core gameplay is fun and diverse, and the story is awesome. The main quest is really good even for movie standards, let alone video games. And the side quests are fun, too. Like the Tommy Elliot mission where I got confused for a moment who was who. Or the actually pretty creepy Pyg quest. And the constant Joker goofs and comments made this so much better, like it's got more interactions than any modern game. Sometimes it really boggles my mind how shitty most games are, since they're made only for money, like Call of Duty or Battlefield or any big titles nowadays. The true heroes are developers who actually try and create something special. I was so hyped when they announced part 4... and then they cancelled it. Goddammit WB
True, i think it s first ever game of this genre which is having this much interaction and nice dialogues in world. The only thing i hate is the batman face, its bland, he shows no emotions even in cutscenes. Batman arkham origins nailed those...
ricky rb This game is soo fucking good. The graphics are so realistic I can’t help but study a pillar or something. Game developers should be trying to top this game.
7:16 you know if you go where zsasz was earlier and what he was actually doing out there there are three dead bodies. I really thought he was going to be part of the mission if you scanned him but apparently not which was kind of sad because he just committed another you-know-what and Batman just glanced over that like it was nothing it's never even called as a mission either it's never broke up again. So that means that he is walking around doing what he's usually doing and that Batman or no one has reported that
@@thefreshprincer5587 yeah I know it is pretty terrible two which again makes it pretty bad I mean some of these characters really shouldn't have gotten away with what they had I'm surprised that Batman didn't really glanced over the fact that zaaz was out there doing something and those poor innocent people
Deathpool_04 they dropped the ball hard in some areas but overall it still is a very good game. Hard to forgive them for making you fight deathstroke in a tank stealth battle tho, the squandered potential of a really good boss fight still hurts.
There was one more thing that I noticed. When you take out any of the air vents in Stagg's airship, it has "Simon Industries" etched on it. Its so small and inconspicuous yet this level of detailing blows my mind.

Worlds greatest detective at work
Nope I did not
I feel like the Zsasz detail is a reference from the side mission you had to deal with him in Arkham City because I think you can see phone box in the footage
Not quite.
I found a video of some software relics from Arkham Knight, likely from early development. You have the option to scan Zsasz during the camera sequence. If you do, Batman will say "Zsasz. He's going to regret coming back to Gotham."
My guess is that they intended to include him in a side quest, but chose to cut it out. Perhaps it distracted too much from Professor Pyg.
@@NcxX-c8f I believe I remember seeing they had a voice actor and such for Zsasz as well, just cut that from the game though.

You missed the best one, nearly all posters can change when you do double takes at the , for example on the first island where the black Canara club is there is a poster for Johnny charisma, which you can look at it once and it he normal, literally rotate the camera guy around once or twice and it'll be the joker and then change back
Nearly all advertisments do it and so do the statues outside panessa studio's
In the middle of the story some thugs on the streets could transform into Joker as well. I thought "hey that guy's getup looks like Joker's. Wait a minute.."
Also if you check out the top of GCPD it'll sometimes have a smiley face on the batsignal.
There’s a lot of stuff that can do that

I thought I was really smart when I found out about this detail of the game.
I thought I was some kind of real detective..
Some of those details are exclusives to the pc version like the paper debris and the water on the cape when he glide and the fog/smog...
No shit is that true? I kinda feel the ps4 has enough power to pull it off...
And asylum is 10 years old
Just when I wanted to redownload and see this stuff for myself. Thanks! Saved that hassle.

I feel so bad now that I found out that the officer blames himself for shooting. I started a new playthrough to finally finish it yesterday and found this out today.
The officers having fun is so HILARIOUS AND MAKES ME HAPPY!
Detail in your video 9:56 that code is referenced and used in all immersive sim games like; System Shock, Deus Ex, Bioshock and Dishonoured.

I thought it was gonna be some erotic or sexy thing with harley or catwoman but oooooohhhh myyyyy gooooooooood
Fear. :P
On a side note, the interactions with the money made me laugh. It's so cool to see little details like that in games like this.
FEAR is the mindkiller.
I've played this game many times but there are some details here that I never noticed. Thanks for the video!
So that means that he is walking around doing what he's usually doing and that Batman or no one has reported that
Im just sad that hush wasn't a major villain in Arkham knight and was just reduced to a qte and it saddens me terribly
@@thefreshprincer5587 yeah I know it is pretty terrible two which again makes it pretty bad I mean some of these characters really shouldn't have gotten away with what they had I'm surprised that Batman didn't really glanced over the fact that zaaz was out there doing something and those poor innocent people
@@themr.mysteriousshadow82 he was gonna be a side mission, they had dialog for it and everything but they switched it for the pyg side mission

Noticing Calendar Man is one thing, but remembering that thing he said in the prison is next level, such an amazing detail.
You just reminded me how underrated this game is
It’s not underrated though. The problems come from the story itself and overusing the batmobile. Overall, it’s a great game.
Deathpool_04 they dropped the ball hard in some areas but overall it still is a very good game.
Hard to forgive them for making you fight deathstroke in a tank stealth battle tho, the squandered potential of a really good boss fight still hurts.
i genuinely didnt know you could knock out that loud mouthed guard lol. had me in stitches the way he stumbles back on the second attempt
There was one more thing that I noticed. When you take out any of the air vents in Stagg's airship, it has "Simon Industries" etched on it. Its so small and inconspicuous yet this level of detailing blows my mind.
