No mention of Batman: Vengeance? A game that looks and sounds like The Animated Series with all the original voice cast,a solid plot, and various interesting stories? Disappointing.

@ANDROGAMER What are you all talking about? The Batman Telltale games were good, sure, but not better than the games on this list. The Telltale games' strongest point is the story, but the Arkham games have stories just as good if not better. As far as the games without as good a story, well, their actual gameplay is much more engaging than Telltale's.
Rise of Sin Tzu is far from the worst game on the list. It's far from the worst Batman game ever. It's an ok game, right there in the middle. Also Batman Vengeance should have been on the list for me.

I actually enjoyed arkham blackgate honestly. It admittedly was silly to scan everything while in detective mode. Other than that, I didn't think it was bad for a 2D spin-off.
but here is one more question: Which in the Batman Arkham series is the most best and most worst? me i say Best is Arkham City and worst is Arkham Origins
actually when you think about what it means to be Batman then Arkham Knight is the weakest game in the series, although i love it to death and Jason's in it. each Arkham game has something special going for it so comparing them is a moot point, but since you did ask, taking into consideration what each has to offer (story, music, bosses, atmosphere etc.) then Origins is the strongest one and City the weakest. if my memory serves me, in Knight you only use detective work (i don't mean scan, but actual detective work) once for main story, hardly need to do any stealth and, although i love tank battles and the Batmobile (AR challenges are freaking fun as hell to drive through), you ride more than you fly. the biggest letdown however is no closure for Jason and Batman, or any other bat family member for that matter. once Bruce finds out the truth the game doesn't touch upon it any further until the scene where Red Hood helps the Bat, which is so minor it's heartbreaking. the game has been feeding the player their relationship for the entire game only to not deliver in the end. Red Hood DLC is nice but way too short, especially if looking for that closure you thought you'd get at the end. Batgirl's DLC is much longer for some reason and although every DLC is fun to play they should've each focused on that closure aspect, having Jason or Red Hood be involved in some form or the other, each react to his presence back in Gotham and in their lives. visually though, it's great, and the little details like the fog, the water on Batman's cape when he takes off a roof or behaviour of criminals when Batman isn't around etc. add to the atmosphere. and those waves... i love those waves. Asylum has asylum to offer and healthy Joker so you can't go wrong with that, plus plenty of detective work, stealth and Riddler doesn't go overboard with his trophies, plus the riddles are a very nice touch. City ups it up a bit but the story is rather short, plus that wall you have to go around every time you fly doesn't help matters. Catwoman is there but doesn't offer much to the story which is a shame. most you play with her is just to get the trophies so that's a real letdown. Origins however gives us raw Bruce when he first started doing his thing being younger, temperamental, without allies, who gradually transforms into the iconic icon we all know and love. The game has a very excitable opening coupled with great score throughout the entirety of the game, not to mention likewise excitable ending. Since game takes place few years in the past it's nice to see Bane being smart and trying to kick his addiction, truly being a great adversary to Batman. Joker is always a pleasure to see especially his younger, brutal side of him and how he falls for the Dark Knight without understanding why. I could mention Deathstroke fight and others but you get the picture by now - bosses are great. The game offers most detective work of the series and the atmosphere of the Xmas season, which should be the happiest time of the year, adds to the cold, empty city where people are scared to walk in the streets at night, painting perfectly how the crime in Gotham and rise of new Villains swallow the city. the point is each game is unique and perfect gem in the great series that i can't wait to be continued if Batman Arkham Origins gets a sequel or any other Arkham game gets developed. but for now enjoy the 4 games that we have so far and don't compare them to each other. they're all perfect.
City was the best and while I didn't enjoy Origins that much. In my opinion Knight was the weakest. It's still a good game, but not as good as City and Asylum.
Origins had a great story and excellent boss fights. It had too many bugs, didn't know how to properly incorporate Detective mode, and was heavy on cinematics.
I replayed rise of sintzu over and over as a child. I absolutely loved it. The scarecrow stage was eerily amazing. Number one should’ve been dark tomorrow, I ended up breaking the disc in half solely due to the annoying camera. Couldn’t even pass black mask’s stage in the burning city

Best story Arkham City Best boss fight Arkham Origins Best open world Arkham Knight
What?! Blackgate was cool! It was like a side scrolling version of the Arkham games! But you were right about Batman forever! Man that game was messed up! Why have a game where you have to jump up and down to get through the level, but then make the UP BUTTON the one you need to use to jump?! ...Also it looked bad and moved slow. And you were right about the Arkham Series! They are SO good!
I don't know why Acclaim thought making a Batman game with Mortal Kombat controls would be a good idea. It just makes the gameplay so slugish and stiff because of the animations they use and whenever you fight groups of enemies, that's when the shit gets so annoying because you can only focus on one thug but then another will attack you so you have to keep jumping and attacking.
@@GurpreetSingh-jv3od The ideas is kinda cool, but the execution was horrible. If they just had to get from one side of the screen to the other, It would be fine, but you have to jump up and down to other parts of the level. That is what I hate about it!
@@Herowebcomics That just further proves my point. A side scrolling platformer Batman game should not have the same gameplay mechanics as a 2D tournament fighting game. They are two completely different genres of gaming. If it was a beat 'em up, then it would be fine because look at Batman Returns but it's not.
Pretty good list, though I have issues with two of the worst games: Dark Tomorrow and Rise of Sin Tzu. Dark Tomorrow actually had a pretty interesting story which drew heavy from the comics. If the controls weren't so terrible and the voice acting was slightly better, it could have been a possible Arkham like prototype. As for Sin Tzu, it wasn't a great game but it certainly wasn't the worst. The graphics were good and it featured some of my favorite villains, though Sin Tzu himself did fall pretty flat. Still, it does not deserve to be considered the number one worst Batman game.....
you know I think I've played some of blackgate, both on psvita and downloaded on the ps3, and I didn't think it was too bad, but definitely nothing great about it either.
Asylum had an amazing atmosphere and set the bar, and the Scarecrow section was incredible, but that titan Joker battle was dreadful and a real anti-climax. City just edges it for me, with Asylum second.
Love how at the end of Arkham city, Batman seems genuinely sad that the Joker is gone, despite all the awful things the Joker did, Batman knew that he'd miss him deep down. (or maybe I'm just reading to much into it)
Next Batman game needs to have chapter selection. I want to play the story from the point that I want to play. After story is over that's when the game gets boring. Chapter selection helps it stay playable. It's a rip off of money not to have that. Sure you can start another story but that can be a chore when you just want to play a specific point or boss fight in the story. People oughta stop buying these games until these devs start doing this because they're very much capable of it.
@@MrWolfchamp-xi3cu Honestly, chapter selections are soon to be a thing in the past now that New Game+ is what's becoming common. That's not a bad thing if the game's story is enjoyable hell, I've played Arkham City countless times out of all the Arkham games because I find it enjoyable especially when you have all the upgrades because you feel unstoppable. It's not just the Arkham games as well. Many games have the option of NG+ like God of War and Spider-Man so you don't have to do the side quests and tasks all over again to get experience to use on equipment and upgrades. You can just start a NG+ and just play through the story if that's what you want to do.
@@GurpreetSingh-jv3od Chapter selection has been a thing of the past seeing as how these games never put them. New game plus has the same run time as the regular game. So once it's done it's the same thing. These game's stories take a day maybe 3 days tops to beat so throw in new game plus and it's only maybe 6 days of playability. Which is a rip off. I'm talking about the ability to play from the point you want without having to start over which should be possible for both new game plus and regular.
@@MrWolfchamp-xi3cu I'll admit, there are moments where I'm playing a game and I get to my favourite parts that I just wanna play over and over but then I realise that to do so, I have to play through the parts that I either didn't like as much or found so repetitive. Honestly, I feel like part of a game's worth is the duration and it's content. A game that has lots of content aside from the main story is worth the $60. The ability to replay missions is good for when you want to just play through the parts of the game you enjoyed but you can't say that the game is a rip off if it doesn't have that feature. A game that has a stupid price but barely has any content is a rip off and it annoys me that people still pre order those kind of games.
I highly disagree with you on Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate (2013). For a handheld game it is legit and fun. And probably one of the best handheld games ever. Just saying :)
If you're anime nerds, then you may recognize Todd Haberkorn from D.Gray-man as Allen Walker, Natsu Dragneel from Fairy Tail, and has done some voices for Dragon Ball Z Kai, Pokémon, and his current recurring voice roles are Grey Matter, Tetrax, and original character Slapback from the Ben 10 reboot, and Komiya from Aggretsuko.
The Genesis version of The Adventures of Batman and Robin only got bad reviews because of its unforgiving difficulty, it's actually a great game. The soundtrack by Jesper Kyd kicks ass, too.

I can see why the whole Batman Arkham series excluding Blackgate had proven itself as the #1 best Batman Game series of all time😎, it’s style of gameplay is the most original and influential play style I had ever experienced 10 years ago😍. And I already a couple of games both bad and good that’ve been trying to adopt it’s play style and rework it into being fitting for other game series since the Batman Arkham series had changed Superhero games and Action Adventure games a decade ago. Like the Beenox Developed Spider-Man games, Sleeping Dogs (that’s honestly my Arkham play stylized Cop Game I’ve ever played back then, really😎), TMNT Out of the Shadows (which is like the worst Ninja Turtles game that was ever in 2013, and it was 3 years before the 2nd Michael Bay produced Turtles flick took on the Out of the Shadows name in 2016 at that time). I honestly think that the Mutants in Manhattan is a much better Ninja Turtles than the out of the shadows game, despite the Mutants in Manhattan game being underrated, at last that Turtles game had that Platinum Games play style to make it more the least more fun than Out of the Shadows’s Arkham play style I tell Ya’ Hwat🤠.
Wow. I cant believe they said Rise of Sin Tzu was worse then Dark Tomorrow and Batman Forever. I was literally just playing it, and was surprised that it was alot better then I remember. Their reasons were kinda false for the most part. I'll agree maybe the combat got repetitive, but it was made ok by all the different moves you could buy. Even though Sin Tzu was a questionable main villain, the ones before him I thought were fine. Obviously its not gonna be better then any of the Arkham games, But saying this is the worse Batman game ever made is ridiculous.
the narrator obviously has 2 problems first his voice is annoying and second he's brainless cuz Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu is one of the best Batman games ever made I've been playing that game ever since I was a kid and now that I'm in my early 20s I'm still playing it I've even played 2 player by myself (just so I can get the copper tokens) and the game to this day remains one of my PS2 favorites

if my memory serves me, in Knight you only use detective work (i don't mean scan, but actual detective work) once for main story, hardly need to do any stealth and, although i love tank battles and the Batmobile (AR challenges are freaking fun as hell to drive through), you ride more than you fly. the biggest letdown however is no closure for Jason and Batman, or any other bat family member for that matter. once Bruce finds out the truth the game doesn't touch upon it any further until the scene where Red Hood helps the Bat, which is so minor it's heartbreaking. the game has been feeding the player their relationship for the entire game only to not deliver in the end.
The worst would either be Arkham Knight or Arkham VR
Batman Returns for the Super Nintendo is one of the best!
Exactly. Should have made the list. One of the best beat em up games ever!
I loved it on Sega fighting catwoman she looked great in that costume
I replayed rise of sintzu over and over as a child. I absolutely loved it. The scarecrow stage was eerily amazing. Number one should’ve been dark tomorrow, I ended up breaking the disc in half solely due to the annoying camera. Couldn’t even pass black mask’s stage in the burning city

Best boss fight Arkham Origins

Mute the video if you can't "stand his voice".
I enjoyed the Arkham series!
@@GurpreetSingh-jv3od True.
It was a wasted opportunity.
You know what is bad? Scratched Ps one disc "Batman: Gotham City Racer". You never know its damaged or it's bugged.
#1: Any LEGO game with Batman in it.
you know I think I've played some of blackgate, both on psvita and downloaded on the ps3, and I didn't think it was too bad, but definitely nothing great about it either.
Batman rise of sin tzu wasn’t bad. That was a really fun game when I was a kid.
Honorable mention: Batman Returns on SNES. That was one of the best beat 'em ups ever!
So, where is Batman: Return of the Joker?
It was the fifth worst
@@anthonylesley982 No. That is Batman Beyond: Return Of the Joker
@@marco_graciano Are you for real?

That would have been fantastic.
Batman rise of sin tzu was one of the first games I got with my ps2 as a kid. I still love that game to this day
I thought Blackgate was a pretty decent game.
Asylum had an amazing atmosphere and set the bar, and the Scarecrow section was incredible, but that titan Joker battle was dreadful and a real anti-climax. City just edges it for me, with Asylum second.
The second Scarecrow sequence really scared me, at first I thought my TV broke lol
@@MoviesNGames007uk me too, it was absolutely superb
I actually enjoyed the rise of sun tsu it was my favorite game cube game back then
Arkham Origins Blackgate isn't really bad. There are games that could easily fill that spot, like Batman & Robin or Batman Forever The Arcade Game.
Idk Watchmojo i had Fun Wit Batman Vengeance on the cool! I like that mr freeze music
I loved ride of sin tzu cause of all the different bat characters you can play as
Love how at the end of Arkham city, Batman seems genuinely sad that the Joker is gone, despite all the awful things the Joker did, Batman knew that he'd miss him deep down. (or maybe I'm just reading to much into it)
Haberkorn rules!
Ok buddy
@@Nightwing-tf1hl it's a rip off I feel like. If I spend money on a game then I expect it to have a good long shelf life. An indefinite one hopefully.
You Sure About That?
Arkham City is the best Batman game of all time!!!
Freddie Mercury It sure is my friend it's my favourite game ever made. I'm glad you're not a critic.
@@enderethan144 I agree it's defiantly is the best Batman game, one of my favorites of all time.
The fact he don't put the telltale series and vengeance and four main arkham games at best pisses me off
Is this a new commentator?
Also, the commentary for the first game mentioned is pretty sparse & lackluster.
This commentator made the video almost unbearable. He sounds like they wanted Stephen Colbert, but couldn't come close to affording him.
Todd Haberkorn is a voice actor, usually in anime
Well this wasn't an anime

Lego Batman: The Video Game was indeed the first Batman game I’ve ever played. I enjoyed it, as much as the sequels of 2 and 3. The second best Batman game I played was Batman Arkham Knight.
I vividly remember playing Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker very well! I was a huge fan of Batman back then and I remember that it was actually very fun and I never experienced any issues with it!
Arkham City is the best Batman game of all time!!!! No question !!!
It's a blatantly unfinished game and Batman adaptation. No way is it the best.
watchmojo narraters seem more interested in getting themselves over than getting the video over these days. Brutal
I was expecting Arkham City to be number 1, but I'm cool with it being a four-way tie. The Arkham series is so great, it would have been a crime not to mention each of them.
I think Batman The Brave and the Bold (developed by WayForward) deserved at least an honorable mention
Who is this guy lmaoo
I don’t think I like it..
I still play LEGO Batman: The Videogame on my PlayStation 2. And I'm 19.
Lego Batman is great, but we all know the BEST is Batman: Arkham City.
They’re far worse Batman games then Batman rise of sin tzu. The game also is a 63% in meta critic which isn’t that terrible. Watchmojo maybe do a little bit more research on your video game lists. Batman and Robin for the Ps1/N64 is quite possibly the worse Batman game ever
"Who always pays their taxes?"
"Not Batman!"

Obviously its not gonna be better then any of the Arkham games,
But saying this is the worse Batman game ever made is ridiculous.
the narrator obviously has 2 problems first his voice is annoying and second he's brainless cuz Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu is one of the best Batman games ever made I've been playing that game ever since I was a kid and now that I'm in my early 20s I'm still playing it I've even played 2 player by myself (just so I can get the copper tokens) and the game to this day remains one of my PS2 favorites
When i saw that WM said Rise of Sin Tzu was the worst game, I couldnt believe it. I could not believe that my childhood game could be rated this badly. So I went to see the comments and found that it was a very good game for pretty much everybody. Love you guys. Watch Mojo, how about you play this game with a friend?
Batman and Robin for Sega Genesis was awesome, frustratingly difficult but still awesome! That soundtrack was jamming too.
You forgot about Batman begins,Batman vengeance. I disagree Batman rise of Sin Tzu was amazing. I remember playing it with my best friend, we had to work together and loved the part where I threw my bat rang at a thug before he throws the scarecrow toxin.
Bro this is such a crap list as always, damn there are so many great batman games and you just pointed out these and not many of them, whenever I watch your list it just makes me disappointed.
Like where is the other lego series?? You pumped the arkham series into one, but not the lego ones??? Where the hell is the telltale series??
Number ONE: Batman Arkham games. LOL
Sin Zu wasn't that bad, definitely not the worst, you have to differentiate between the Arkham games (there are 3+1 of them!) And Vengeance should be at least an honourable mention. Bad list
I think to freshen up the superhero gaming genre, they should make a superhero RPG! I'd like to see an X-Men RPG.
