Omg man you modeled all of those bones in Nomad! Crazy nice work! This is such a wildly awesome project
Ask him for the stl's and print it supersize on one of those big resin printers you have lol Personally I think he should have it sent to have a mold made and start selling them, Its amazing what he come up with!
I don't know what a realistic price for something like this would be, but I'd sure be interested. (IF you would make multiple)
Rather than doing a small run for them, you should just sell the STL file. I know I'd buy it immediately!
I was waiting to see the 5 puppeteers inside.
That is another version that I would like to try, but I’m not sure how to pull it off
I’d love to see that. The only thing I could think of would be to use figures articulated enough to fit inside a hollowed out shell. Personally Ugnaughts or Jawas would be a funny usage of characters, even just random aliens. It would make a Jabba puppet fit in too the Star Wars universe in a comical way. Really hope you figure something out, it would be nice to see what you come up with.
Pretty neat design!
Since it's all open, maybe a disassembled version would be easier to work with and sell as DIY kit. With a custom box and maybe a stand, that would make a cool gift.
That would be closer to the original model kit and I did consider it, but getting all of the parts to fit together seemed like it would be very difficult so I gave up on it. I'm way ahead of you on the custom box idea though...
@@MightyJabbasCollection Maybe the advantages of scalability (painted or not) would offset the troubles of a complex design even for failed prints. Smaller parts, smaller loss I guess. Of course, only considering you would sell these and also not get blasted to hell by Disney!^^ But I'm very curious to see the end result in box and all anyway!
This is an amazing Jabba project!!! With a slight bit of modification, you could do a Jabba/Terminator mash-up with the skeleton painted like metal instead of bone and the internal organs modified to appear like wiring and gears. A visible Rancor would also be incredible. Or a visible Gamorean Guard. Or a half-scale visible guard... mixing your previous tiny action figures with this visible skeleton project. Keep up the great work!!! A visible Darth Vader goes without saying...
Blown away by all of the great tips in Nomad!
Very impressive work, especially given your "novice" sculpting experience. I think it turned out great!
The line you got on your print is a known issue with the Saturn. Elegoo released a firmware update to address that as many users were getting the line. I was getting it (occurs in the middle of the build plate) and the issue was fixed after I updated. You just need to:
1. Find the serial number for your machine. It should be on a white sticker on the bottom of the unit.
2. Contact Elegoo and ask them what firmware version you need as there are 3 different ones. These each correlate to one of three types of screens they used.
3. Take note of which firmware version you have. Can be found in the system menu on the printer.
4. Once you download the correct firmware version do the following (as Elegoo's official instructions were a bit vague). Unzip the file, copy the two files in the "firmware" folder to your USB root. Print the update.lcd file then the CBD file. It will prompt you to restart, then you're done. Should only take a few minutes to do and the line will be gone.
5. Check your settings menu and the firmware version number should be updated.
6. You'll be printing line free Jabbas in no time.
Interesting. I can’t say that the line appeared in everything I’ve printed but maybe it’s just more noticeable on certain models. Do you know what the cause is?
@@MightyJabbasCollection It was a line of pixels was turned off or something like that. Elegoo's offical response on facebook, "This newest firmware for the PJ L1 screen has solved the problem that lines may appear on the model due to firmware bugs in printing".
It was unpredictable, my first two prints had the line then it stopped for a short while. Then it showed up again which was very frustrating. I looked at your video and see the line is prominent on the skull but also runs along the back of the head and down the rib cage area (but is more faint). The line is always a vertical one, so not corresponding with the horizontal layers. It's especially noticeable on smooth surfaces and seems to run in the center of the build plate.
That turned out so well man, I love how much you love Jabba. So many diverse vids. Keep up the great work
This is one of the coolest original builds I've ever seen. Congrats on an amazing idea and execution! I'm with some of the other comments, and maybe selling the STL makes more sense? So rad!
'the visible Hutt' 🤣 great work sculpting!
I’d love to see a line of Sentai, Kaiju, Kamen Rider and Ultraman monsters like this.
That is about the most wicked thing I have seen! I'd so buy one of those. Even if you didn't do a run of figures - you could sell your design online.
you’re one of my favorite creators. you need so much more credit and I hope you never give up creating this fantastic content
incredible very talented mighty jabbas collection.
Came out great! Liked the ambient music when you were painting.
One of the coolest 3D printed things I’ve ever seen. Bravo 👏🏽 would love to buy one of these, wish I would’ve seen this when you originally uploaded it.
AWSOME!!!
This was awesome. Great sculpt and paint job.
Pretty awesome. I feel like printing the exposed bones as seperate pieces would have been easier when it came to painting them but this turned out great either way.
It would make painting easier but designing it and assembling it would take way longer. Ideally I would have the parts be separate to be more like the original model kit though
@@MightyJabbasCollection I get it for sure. Ive been making poured cast resin figure kits for years and totally get how much of a pain it can be to engineer this stuff :D
That was Fantastic! Thanks for sharing!!
You continue to amaze - your best printing video yet, I think!
Great work on the sculpting 👍
Amazing work mate. I sculpt using Zbrush but will definitely check out Nomad. All the best.
Awesome, I love it. I'd definitely order one from you! Greetings from France.
Awesome work. I may be interested in one if the budget works out at the time!
OMG.....LOVE IT JABBA.....
This is a masterpiece, absolutely.
Just wow yes I would love to have one of those
Great project! Looks amazing!
honestly it looks beyond awesome
I would love the stl for this . You made this look so wicked
You should do E.T. next time [plz]
This is such an awesome design!
amazing work, seriously impressive man
This is brilliant. Great work ;)
for the first time doing it, id say you did an amazing job.
My brain finds it very satisfying that this video is exactly 11 minutes long
Awesome work!!
Excellent work, Sir!
Have you ever thought about 3D printing some of Jabba's denizens which were never made as Kenner figures, just created in a Kenner style?
Great result and looks fun...have a virtual pat on the back 👍
Come to a price. I want one un-painted & un-glued. I can do the rest myself. I would love this in my collection.
Great work!
It turned out great
Man I want a 3D printer, this is AWESOME!
This is absolutely disgusting. And I love it! Great job!
Wow, that's incredible, great job with Jabba's interior skeleton and the outer tissue as well. Very cool.
God Damed Genius!!!
Bro! You killed it! You've got some major skill. You shouldn't downplay your abilities so much.
Cool that you did it. My only beef is how you connected the spine of the tail to the body. That isn't realistic, but I get that you were trying to keep the spines visible. (Most likely they would have been turned on their side behind the long intestine. I agree, you should sell the model on Gambody or somewhere else. Nice work overall!
I was operating on the idea that the torso section would sort of pivot from side to side somehow, allowing him to face forward or to either side. But of course it’s not meant to be totally realistic.
@@MightyJabbasCollection Ah. Okay. I think there is a bit more references about Hutts that you can infer their anatomy from. (I saw some images in the tactical manual and other books) But I think you did an awesome job otherwise. The organics do look cool!
It's disgusting, I love it! Great work!
AWESOME !!!!! take my order for one !!
Amazing!
Would totally be down for one if you did a run of theses
Please more nomad videos! Great!!!
I think that would be a sweet addition to my small collection.
You should try and 3D print a salaltatios crumb or skiff
This is so cool! I’d almost love to have just the hutt skeleton in my collection, but I can imagine how delicate it would be with all the bones and small bits. Do you think it would be possible to print just the skeleton and organs by itself, and encase it inside a translucent print of Vintage Jabba?
I may try and do something like that (transparent skin with visible skeleton and organs) but there are a lot of things I have to work out first
Super creepy but great detail. I am not sure if a slug like alien would have a skeleton though
Yeah as I said in the video I feel he shouldn’t actually have a skeleton. But it’s sort of a concept piece
this is so awesome! congrats on getting a sponsor!
very cool, and somewhat creepy I really like it good job man!
Alright I gotta ask, is the STL available? lol Such an awesome model! Keep up the great work!
I’d definitely be interested in a custom. Please keep us updated id pay a pretty penny for one.
I figured them to have much fewer bones.
Looks cool tho
I mean I will gladly have one
That's just silly, everyone knows there are 3 humans inside Jabba the Hutt! 😛
there is a drawing of jabba's skeleton done for ep 1
Beautifully weird
Could you possibly do a tutorial for how to 3d print stuff like that, and maybe show which type of 3d printers are good for beginners?
You might try looking at my 3D printer reviews since I do cover some of that kind of stuff
@@MightyJabbasCollection Oh okay. Besides that, would you consider doing a review on the throne room action scene kit?
Yes I do have that planned. Just have to find the time
@@MightyJabbasCollection Cool!
Organics are hard, but a trick its that nature its simetric ;-)
it look realy cool the only problem is that il looks like it has 2 spines
Cool as but why so yellow?
Did you ever finish your Artoo build?
I agree with "Lord Laurentius": I don't know what a realistic price for something like this would be, but I'd sure be interested. (IF you would make multiple) Please let us know.
How do I get tat
How can we get this in a stl? I would gladly pay for it…put it on a Patreon like Hex3d awesome print!
I don’t think I will be releasing the STL for this, but the good news is that not only will I be releasing this as a finished custom figure, I will probably also make unpainted prints available for people who want to paint it themselves. Stay tuned for details
Actually they do have skeleton I found the book of a Star Wars episode 1 to 3 of Artworks and Movies!?
How can I get that duping app. And how do you spell it’s name? Ps is it a free app? Thank you.😍
If you're talking about the sculpting app, it's Nomad Sculpt. But it's not free
@@MightyJabbasCollection thank you .how mush is it ,and can I also use it in my 3D animation progem( Icone)?
I'm in
Claim
I'm no expert on anatomy but the way jabba's ribcage is positioned looks unhealthy, looks good though 👍
😝
nasty looking....=)
