Very solid review! Appreciate the detail in describing all the custimization features in the Smart Control App. At the end of the day, it comes down to sound quality, which you described perfectly. 🙂
I love hearing the words 'MUTE ON' during an important meeting, despite doing nothing to make it happen. Such wonderful words to hear - MUTE ON. Love it, never fails to make me want to fucking scream. MUTE ON.
This is fantastic, So far I think that the Momentum 4's are the best sub £300 headphones I have ever heard, But I couldn't stand all the extra tacked on features Like automatic power on, Head tracking, Touch gesture controls and so on. Now these new Accentum's are exactly what I need, the same great sound quality, the same great battery life, and the same great Bluetooth and codec connectivity. Thank you for the great review.
I'm going to pre-order soon. I was going to get Momentum 4 but changed my mind after seeing that Accentum will have physical buttons. I read lots of people complaining about gesture controls for Momentum 4.
I would love to see a comparison between these and some of the other headphones out there, like the soundcore range which are my usual go to brand, which in my opinion offer some great performance for the money
Hi, great video. I seem to suffer from that feel of cabin pressure in my ears from the ANC. Do these headphones cause that sensation? Have you any recommendations for headphones with small ANC so my ears don't suffer? Thanks
Got these after a couple of good reviews, but will be returning them. The build feels very plasticky, the fit is not optimal, my ears started getting really warm quite quickly, noise cancellation is solid, but could be better. Sound quality is undeniably great. But overall, didn't feel good enough to keep
I'll go for the Sony 720n simply that it has 3.5mm jack for air travel and accentum does not. Don't understand Sennheiser's decision to remove this simple and useful feature, especially for a reasonably priced ANC travel headphone.
@@calebs2crazy Depends which plane. Also, unstable connections are still a concern, aren’t they? Especially if multiple people are using BT connection, and I don’t imagine planes are packing codecs like aptX or anything either.
great review. Just bought a pair as a gift for a gamer kid. He mentioned a small latency with the headphones compared to his wired ones.... any thoughts on the matter - Did you notice any latency...? (personally i did not - but I am slightly hard of hearing(nearing 60yrs old) and just listened to them for a few minutes)
Looks like I will be replacing my BT450's. I love them and the sound is pretty dang good, but the reviews I have seen about the Accentum, they are a good cheaper alternative to the Momenu, but I also might get the Plus version.
Excellent question. M4 vs ACCENTUM: M$ has larger speakers (42mm instead of 37mm) --> better sound and ANC performance M4 has 4 voice mics. vs. 2 in ACC M4 has adaptive ANC (ACC non-adaptive) M4 uses a touchpad instead of buttons M4 in general is smarter (auto on/off, smart pause, etc.) M4 has Sound Personalization (thru the app) M4 can do analogue audio and comes with a case, audio cable and IFE adapter M4 has 60h battery life vs. 50h in ACC
Hi, I was wondering if these headphones had a "normal mode", I mean if it is possible to use them with both anc and transparency switched off, can someone help me?
The hd 4.40bt remains the absolute most uncomfortable headset I've ever worn and I love Sennheiser. Looks like they've learned their lesson in terms of ear cushions.

The call quality was absymal. Senny need to up their game. Sony offer better cans across various price points. Bose a better option too at this price point.
Just 179 euros which will translate to £199! And no analogue option renders them useless for me. There are better options from Sennhieser at more affordable prices.
Still no good for me, i need a 3.5 or 6.3mm jack plug option for what i use headphones for this is why i said better options are available at more affordable prices. These headphones have been intended for the mobile phone market.@@simoncoco1

His review left out many points alongside inaccurate info. 17mm drivers, really? That would stop anyone buying them if they took his word as gospel.
It sure would be nice to have the option to to turn off ANC altogether, Herr Sennheiser.
