This is the first time ever hearing this lady play. She's been in my RUclips feed for years, but I'd never gotten around to listening to her, and yet I always had a feeling about her, and I'm not disappointed as this is one bad-ass blues lady.

Yup, raw and uncomplicated, the way blues should be played. This trio was the best with the superb Go-Go and Scott. Samantha has developed musically in the intervening years but the result has diminished. Get back to basics Samantha, we miss you.

Its like the delta came alive and all of its ancient blues players flows through this young soulfull and extreemily gifted and talented lady. Your a gift to my ears Samantha. Im 57 years old and grew up on Howling Wolf , Little Walter, Sonnyboy Williamson, Sonny Terry, Muddy Waters, Blind Willie Johnson and the list goes on. I did the same thing,randomly picked her after watching a bunch of other female guitar players and was blown away by her playing and singing ability. All the others I watched seemed to want to impress you by shredding while she plays with feel. Randomly found a new favorite guitarist in her that's for sure.

You said it best. I don't know where her roots come from, but nobody is bringing the roots the way she is. Look at the different styles of guitars she chooses to make her music with. And this trio, featuring Go Go Ray on drums and Steve on bass. I've watched several of her videos on RUclips, and she seems to be at her best when it's simple and improvised just like this. She's got a gift.

Go Go Ray on the drums is my favorite version of whenever Samantha's on stage. All the other bands she's been in just seem to be thrown together in there, but this group looks and sounds so tight and amazing.
I have seen Joe Bonamassa live twice, he is amazing and I dont mean to take anything away from him when I say he could benefit from Samantha Fish. She understands better, the connection, the lyrics, the bond, better than Joe does. I think he could still have hos moment to shine every song, and it would be even deeper, if he allowed her to help him. I dont know if his ego is so big that he would dismiss it off hand. I am not a musician but Samantha Fish is more consistent with the connection to the audience whether live or on the internet. Much Respect to her.

Super cool! Only recently discovered Samantha Fish but really diggin' her sound. Feels like a natural born performer/artist.
