The modern rock radio stations format today is for this safe sounding pop blend rock music. Any new songs by new bands or older rock and metal bands that are played on the mainstream rock radio stations are of these pop sounding rock mixes. What a bunch of shit and no wonder people are going more of the internet route to find new music than on the conventional mainstream radio route. Pop rock is currently dominating the rock radio stations as well as pop country is currently dominating the country radio stations.
