So much good stuff in this episode! The D&D cartoon is def one of my fav of all time. Those Garbage Pail cards look very cool & the TMNT collection.

Saw the new Dungeons and Dragons Honor among thieves yesterday and it was great! Yes the 80’s cartoon group were in the stadium scene. I used to watch it and was disappointed they didn’t finish the series where they returned home (unless the Brazilian car ad was it). If this is it it doesn’t show exactly why happened to them. No spoilers but hopefully they’re ok…
Not really the cast was it though.
Diana was tubby and out of shape.. Not much good for an acrobat.
Bobby was not a boy but a full grown dwarf man?
And Eric was not Indian in the tv cartoon was he??
It was a VERY VERY VERY POOR nod to the original cast.

The 90s X-Men animated series set the bar too high. I've never seen a Marvel movie that can match the acting and drama of that series.
it wasn’t just D&D that parents had a problem with it was anything kids were into a good example RGB was perfectly fine, Parents “Oh it’s too scary” enter Q5 & now it’s SLIMER & The Real Ghostbusters during the 80’s parents over reacted hence why SIMPSONS most likely created Helen LoveJoy .”Oh PLEASE won’t somebody think of the children”
D&D movie = actually seems interesting, X-Men97 = hoping they have the original theme song, Gargoyles = unfortunate but not unexpected, Lego = interesting, Coke = Cool but WAY to expensive, TMNT = 🥳
Yup. That was them. I grew up watching that cartoon. Loved the movie!

@@craiggibbons8228 true but in the cartoon they were all kids. They just made them a lil more real world looking. And honestly the movie was kinda kiddy itself. I hope when they make a movie about drizzt it will be more dark and serious.
