Thanks for the heads up. It's always cool to see who's doing the switch-a-roo on labels and charging more. I'll stick with the nine-year age stated Knob Creek Single Barrel 120 proof for around $50. I'm not terribly excited about paying more for such a marginal change in product.
In orlando its at five star liquor and wine in longwood. 118 proof i think. Very good. Just like a bookers. Its a good sipper but is 134 and im a bt/makers taste profile so i passed due to price
I tried one of these at the recent Orlando Whiskey Fest (wasn't a fan of the one they had) and asked how long it aged in KY vs TN and they said about 7 years in KY and 1 in TN.
Was looking on Google maps for some spots in my upcoming Florida trip and low n behold I found Bourbon Santa Google reviews....Will be swinging by some of the spots..Thanks Santa
Live in Lakeworth and saw Inlet harbor got this bottle on their instagram. I haven't picked it up because the 139 buck price point is hard to swallow. I do love Bookers so thanks to your review I think i'm going to have to pick it up. I did previously get a bottle of 6 year Nashtuckey single barrel I really enjoyed that i got from Seelbach's for 90, which is probably alot for a 6 year. I'm not sure if that would have also had the same mashbill as what you picked up from Inlet Harbor.
On the lookout!!
Just got mine from inlet harbor liquor as well
