Honestly I think the Suns future, while it is VERY stressful, questionable, and tough on paper in terms of building, I think that as long as the have Booker that they will be competing. Lakers not so much, and Clippers definitely not. And I think in Matt Ishbia and James Jones, they have a much better front office than the LA teams. Ishbia and Balmer are both willing to spend, but James Jones is an incredible manager.
The Suns are stuck. Bradley Beal's on the books for the next three years and they have no draft capital to get rid of him (not to mention he can veto a trade!). That will run the clock out on Durant's productive career. Which would leave the Suns to finally start a rebuild without any decent draft picks in 2027-28. Booker will be 31 by then and probably ready to ask for a trade. It's hard to see the good ending from here.
Im obviously biased because of my nationality but not even mentioning Pelle Larsson when talking about Miami Heat and their future was pretty weird to me.
You know if Rob Pelinka was managing the Lakers they would honestly jump a tier cause at least I would know what direction they would want. If you couldn't tell I don't like Rob Pelinka
The Clippers Thunder trade might be worse all time than the Nets Celtics one. I mean these bums might seriously gift the Thunder Cooper Flagg this year…
This guy legit hates the east teams cause he’s biased.. I’m not a Bucs or sixers fan but gtfo.. maxey and the clippers 2029 1st and 2028 pic swap unprotected
Sixers and Knicks belong much higher than he put them. Even without picks, the Knicks have a core all in their 20s with at least 3-5 years of prime play left in all of them, while Maxey is a young star and Embiid is still Embiid, even if he may not have much mileage left.
I just want to point out one thing, while I agree with the Bucks take you said Brook Lopez old and always injured…… Lopez had one year injured and every other year with the Bucks has barely missed a game. So old yes but can’t call Brook Lopez always injured.
There's no way you put Detroit and Miami this low. Detroit just needs a player/coach with winning mentality and you'll see them rise in the rankings. An MIAMI? are u kidding? Sure, buckets is getting old, but he can still be traded, Adebayo is bound to be an all-nba calibre player, and you're underestimating their young players and the ability of the coaching staff... Jaquez was all-nba rookie, Jovic just needs more minutes, Ware is gonna be a star, Highsmith is proving to be a valid asset... they do this EVERY YEAR! Coach Spo is gonna surprise a lot of people this year and maybe even winning COY award that has eluded him for years.
The Lakers always have a bright future bec they find ways to sign top stars and make big trades. I’ll take that over a cheap team that hordes draft picks and overpay role players any day
I get that the Knicks are expensive and don’t have a ton of draft capital, but how do you put them in the second worst tier. No one their lineup projects to be any worse 3-4 years from now.
Towns will be 33c Brunson 32, bridges, OG 31 32 and hart 34 in 3 yrs. That’s old by nba standards and OG and towns have a history of injuries. The Knicks all in trade was about winning in the next 2-3 yrs. After that they’vlre expecting to be bad
Clippers are in a tier of their own; they're in the purgatory. The Paul George trade will absolutely go down as the worst trade in the NBA history, worse than Hawks trading Bill Russell and Hornets trading Kobe. Even if OKC 3-peat in the next 3 seasons, they still have 3 legitimate shots at getting that #1 pick! Clippers and Blazers will be at the bottom in the west and among the 5 worst in the league this season. They have better hope their ping pong balls will somehow be lighter than others in 2025 ... and '26, '27, '28, '29 and '30 🤦♂
Frankly, the Bucks firmly belong in that bottom tier with the LA teams and the Suns. Giannis is phenomenal and probably has at least 3 more years of prime play in him, but the rest of their roster and future is a dumpster fire. They're not good enough to beat Boston or New York come playoff time, plus they're WAY older than those teams, with their core, save for Giannis, all being firmly in their mid-30s with injury histories, compared to the Celtics & Knicks who have cores in their mid-late 20s. Not to mention the fact Milwaukee owns none of their firsts until 2031, most of which going to the Pels and Blazers from the Jrue and Dame trades, respectively. They're so freaking screwed, with no good young players, no draft picks, and a bunch of old broken down players with almost no trade value.
What in the world are the Lakers doing near the bottom? Outside of Lebron, they're a young team with several good role players, most of their draft picks, no pick swaps, and a superstar who is only 31 and still worth a lot if they were to trade him, and they don't have any bad contracts that would slow down a rebuild if they wanted to do that. I don't see what's so dark about their future. It's hardly a championship core minus Lebron, but they haven't fallen into any "win now" traps like the Clippers or Suns have done.
Their role players aren’t that good. They aren’t that deep. Lebron is old and they missing like half their firsts over the next 8 years. Ad is their only real asset
@@Shortballa11 Not true. They owe a first this year which probably is mid to late round. And they've owe the Jazz a protected pick in '27. After that, they have all their other first round picks. I don't see what's actually bad about their situation. They don't have any bad contracts either, so they've got flexibility there too.
The Lakers owe a pick. They have most of their draft capital post 2026. Ofc that said I think your position for them is still justified. Rob Pelinka and Jeannie Buss are amateurs and will continue to be likely
Fair enough about the front office being bad. But the Lakers have a pretty clean sheet to work with for a team that's "win now". There are three things I tend to think labels a teams as having no future, and none of them apply to the Lakers. No players, no draft picks, and bad contracts. The Lakers have a Top 15 player. After this year, all they owe is a protected pick in 27. And the worst contract they have is Gabe Vincent's midlevel exception deal that runs out next year.
@@JonSmith-hk1bq exactly. But try getting most people to ever see or acknowledge any of this. It's like their heads are still in 2021 back when the Lakers had Westbrook

@@Mrdonjuliothewicked that is not necessarilly what I said. I said “no future”. So guys like AD or Booker could be dealt for a king’s ransom. Not everyone has such desirable players. They owe a 2025 and a 2027 pick. LeBron and AD are getting older. Obviously not an ideal day for this to go up because DK went off yesterday but in general their core just doesn’t look great to me
They owe two picks, this year's 2025 pick which again at beat will be outside the top 15 so realistically you don't get superstar players at that pick. AD is still under contract untill 2027 and is still a top 10 player in the league, DK looks like a stud so far, Austin reaves is on one of the best value contracts in the nba. Rui is one of the best playoff shooters of all time percentage wise. The lakers have shown they can identify talent in the draft and develop that talent to create quality players such as reaves, caruso, kuzma etc. I think everyone gets so caught up in the lebron factor of him being 40 you don't realise what the lakers and can do post lebron. Lebron will atleast be here for another season after this one and he's still on his day the best player in the league (Olympics example). And also it's the lakers who always attract big name stars. Luka, giannas could be available a few years down the line there teams don't meet expectations.
Lakers is so false man what are you doing? They literally have all their picks after this season. A lot of their best players other than Bron and AD are 26 and younger. When Bron retires they'll be in position to acquire another young star. this is weird on your part
The Lakers aren't bad, but they aren't good either. Many players are at an age where they cannot get significantly better. And right now the Lakers are a Play in team... It's good that you have your draft picks, but they will most likely be in the 10+ range. You can get a good role player in that range, but you have to be lucky to land a future star. To sign a contract with a new star... You live in the past. In today's world, you either don't have enough money to offer (salary cap) or the new star's home team can offer more. You have to make a trade to get the stars and the Lakers have a problem with the resources to offer in trades. The resources are not bad, but don't call them good either.
@@normunds1986 Which is why they're realistically somewhere in the middle. They're a team with a decent amount of young talent, a superstar they can cash in, no bad contracts, and most of their draft picks. Let’s not forget how bad Monty made Ivey look like the worst player to ever touch a basketball, he’s look very good this preseason
You're sleeping on the bucks, lowkey
Honestly I think the Suns future, while it is VERY stressful, questionable, and tough on paper in terms of building, I think that as long as the have Booker that they will be competing. Lakers not so much, and Clippers definitely not. And I think in Matt Ishbia and James Jones, they have a much better front office than the LA teams. Ishbia and Balmer are both willing to spend, but James Jones is an incredible manager.
Problem for Suns is shadow-GM Isiah Thomas whispering in Ishbia’s ear.
Houston is the deepest? How many top 100?
Celtics should be tier 2 because of the ownership problems and the expense of the roster
Scottie Barnes more valuable than some teams entire younger core
Cap!
i think the raptors are going to move into tier 2 in the next few years😊
Hornets are tier 2 at the lowest sorry don't agree. Ball and Miller will be top 5 at there positions in 3-5 years
Ball plays half a season every year and puts up decent numbers for a 14th seed yearly he's empty stats and inflated numbers cuz they had nobody else
In 3-5 years? They are probably gonna lead the league in 3s per back court this year. They both can be top 5 in their position next year.
Sporting Logically? What's your logic of placing the Heat down there?
They won the summer leagu, so, their future sux! 😂
I know you enjoy crapping on MN but how do you talk young core and not mention Naz Reid, and Dilly?
It's pretty generally used that young core is under 25, Naz is 25.
The Lakers always have a bright future bec they find ways to sign top stars and make big trades. I’ll take that over a cheap team that hordes draft picks and overpay role players any day
They whiffed on a lot of players lately.
“Future” is so arbitrary and ambiguous… in 5 years, 3 years… over the next 10 years?
What tier is Portland in?
Timberwolves winning a championship
This century?
@@RR-in7do Yes.
These takes are getting lazier and lazier bro, good video nonetheless
Bring the beard back man Im beggin you
Terrible list
@@JonSmith-hk1bqThey’re bad as long as Lefraud still there.
Brooklyn is horrendously too high
Fun fact: The Celtics still have all of their own 1st round picks… (except one)
Yep 2029 is the only year we don't have our first
That’s insane.
They finessed the league
@@garreteck7524 Oh yeah that’s right, it got sent to the Blazers in the Jrue trade. I was thinking it was a swap. I corrected my comment accordingly 😅
@@Alex_Off-Beat yeah, it's all good bro. But Brad is the best man.
Fun fact: you're wrong. They have control of all but two of their 1sts.
These sort of videos are silly. All any of the “no future” teams have to do is trade some of their win-now talent and BAM, now they have a bright future.
Okay so in that case everyone should be in the top couple of tiers, cause hey, they can just trade players, right?
@@Mrdonjuliothewicked that is not necessarilly what I said. I said “no future”. So guys like AD or Booker could be dealt for a king’s ransom. Not everyone has such desirable players. But you are right. It’s not like in 3-5 years when all these young guys being talked about enter their prime they are even going to be on the same teams. especially with the league's new salary restrictions. People said the Suns had no future 6 years ago, then they made the finals. A lot changes in very little time.
I really appreciate your efforts! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Lakers at bottom?
Four or five years from now ja morant won't be in the league. He's Stevie Francis 2.0. Washington has bub bilal Alex sarr and kysbawn George. They should be higher
I swear bro you say the most stupid things 😂😂😂 Houston has the deepest team in the league??? Like come on now 😂😂😂
This dude is just guessing.. bcuz alot of teams he mentioned has alot plenty of talent!!
This video sucks
Lakers no future??? 🤣🤣
What do they have for the future?
Correct, like yall have nothing
Lakers have players drop in their lap, but 2 years from now they have no talent or draft picks coming to rebuild
When Bron retires they'll be in position to acquire another young star. this is weird on your part
not watching the rest of this shit. learn ball
Someone's angry
@@normunds1986 they aren't bottom 3 bad and they still have a 30 year old AD, Tradeable contracts and all their picks. very very stupid take
@@normunds1986 Which is why they're realistically somewhere in the middle. They're a team with a decent amount of young talent, a superstar they can cash in, no bad contracts, and most of their draft picks.
Worst you can say is that they're due for a rebuild in two or three years. More likely, they'll try to trade Davis and picks for a younger superstar.
One thing is for sure the Orlando Magic 🪄 ✨️ 💙 🖤 🤍 🎩 has a bright future with the young core they have championships are otw it will take growth and patience idc what people say they will win their first championship and more
If I had a nickel for every *"Boo-hoo-hoo! Boo-HOO! The disrespect to **___________** is crazy!! You lost all credibility with that one!!"* that predictably shows up under vids like this, I'd have $14 Million dollars and 5 cents.
