This is so interesting and useful. Just some thoughts: I love the idea that content can be a record of your life and thoughts for your family and friends to have when you’re gone. Never thought of that! My motivation would be my interests or passions. I thought of a nature related channel at one point for example, but I would have to have a level of confidence and commitment. I speak for a living as a teacher but something about sharing with an unknown audience is intimidating but also cool. The time factor is my main worry as a side hustle. I wonder how many hours a week on average would someone have to spend to be successful (if the goal is monetary)? I can be a bit of a perfectionist so I would have to let go a bit lol I appreciate social media for making connections with people and content around different subject matter. Sometimes the creators you are drawn to are unexpected. For example your content was suggested to me by a friend because I’m interested in how to support youth. So I was looking for people with lived experience themselves or those who work and deal with youth at risk. That sort of thing. It’s always a pleasant surprise when you really appreciate content in an unexpected place. And it opens up another world to you.
Anyway I really liked this one as food for thought. Thanks!
