I think Todd Stashwick would be an even better Lobo than Momoa (with or withour Daawg or space dolphins). Give Momoa a charater to offer him (and us) something different than we have already seen or would expect from him. No strong fighting tough musclebound showcasing... i'd cast him as Vandal Savage and use him as a replacement for an expected Lex Luther as the leaderr/genius villain to thwart. :)
I'd prefer a generic Lobo plot if he's in Superman. Quietly set up the real villain while Lobo comes to earth to take a contract on Superman, then at the end Lobo and Supes team up to beat the villain and then Lobo rides back to space for his solo film.
Waller & Jaime sticking around is 100% fine to me, but Peacemaker I’m 90% okay with since I have a few questions: 1.) Will the rest of 2021’s The Suicide Squad cast be kept because Peacemaker is in it (including Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn)? It’s pretty separate from the rest of the DCEU in terms of events because nothing is really referenced outside of Bloodsport shooting Superman (and Gunn said he could not confirm WHICH Superman he shot at the time, meaning it could’ve been Corenswet’s). I’d be fine with this because of how separate it feels and I’d love to see those characters back. 2.) With the rest of Team Peacemaker coming back, what does that mean for all of the properties that they’ve appeared in. Harcourt showed up in Black Adam (not because of Gunn), and she & Economos showed up to recruit Shazam into the JSA. Will these events just not be mentioned? Gadot showed up in Shazam 2’s ending, Shazam 1 references Man of Steel and JL’s events, Black Adam had Cavill’s Superman cameo, and (most importantly of all) Peacemaker Season 1 ends with a totally unnecessary JL cameo with Mamoa and Miller. I get bts reasons why those all happened, but how confusing will that be for first time DCU watchers seeing a random JL cameo at the end of S1 before watching S2? Other than Peacemaker Season 1’s ending, I’m totally okay with all the confirmed characters being brought over. We’ll get it, but will they? Hopefully they explain it well for new DCU viewers going into the next projects.
I think James Gunn has said his Suicide Squad movie is not canon in the DCU. The canon of the DCU starts with Creature Commandos next year. Everything before is non-canon to the DCU.

I think the reboot was needed at this point. I loved the Snyder trilogy and the actors (especially Cavill/Affleck/Gadot) but certain things from that universe wouldn't have worked for a live action DC Universe going forward (Dick Grayson being dead meaning no true Nightwing and an older Batman going forward come to mind). If we can truly get a scenario where the tone of each film varies on the character as opposed to everything being the same tone (ala the MCU the past couple phases) then that's a great thing. Still sucks that we didn't get that ZSJL follow up but i'm fine with moving on at this point. I'm a Snyder fan but I'm not gonna be hash tagging "restorethesnyderverse" or "sellZSJLtowhoever" for another 5-10 years. Chapter 1 of the new slate sounds promising so let's just hope Gunn & Safran deliver.
I think one of the problems with The flash movie, is they did too much copying and pasting story lines. None of the villains were fleshed out. Most of the time The flash is basically just fighting himself. And trying to figure out what to do. Some of that would have been just fine, but you should have took one of the two villains and really fleshed them out real well. And then also bringing Michael Keaton back is Batman, would have been phenomenal, but the problem is we only get to see like 30-40 minutes of that. Especially with AI you need to do a Michael Keaton Batman. Real obvious if we have a.I to make people look younger, you might want to stop messing around and find a really good script for a trilogy with Michael Keaton as Batman.
In my honest opinion, I think WB and DC should just take their losses and not release Aquaman 2 at all. Shelve the project. WB would probably save money that way anyways. If they don't release the movie. It would be 23 months between movies in DC. Giving fans a chance to process the change from DCEU to DCU. It also gives James Gunn a chance to do his cinematic universe without outside drama. Just my opinion though.

This might be a really bad idea, but I think it could be cool if executed properly. What if they made the bizarro league and used Snyder's actors to play bizarro versions of their characters that they played in the Snyder-verse? So like Gal Gadot wouldn't be technically reprising wonder woman, but instead be bizarro wonder woman in Gunn's universe.
The other things that's extremely annoying is we had the perfect Superman. Not so good of a Batman. I'm not saying Affleck is a bad actor. But plain and simple the whole time we have needed an extremely talented actor like Michael Keaton quality to take over the mantle. Real obvious that Ben Affleck is not the guy. Wonder Woman must be tall, so the minimum height for the new actress should be 175cm (5ft9). There are many beautiful actresses with blue eyes out there, but finding one who is very tall is rare. Waller in Superman Legacy? Lobo in Superman Legacy? SL is changing almost monthly from its original premise. Not a good sign. This is what wrecked the DCEU. Plus, rumors of more "supers" being added to the SL cast after the actors' strike is over. It becomes harder to deny that SL will be an ensemble film featuring Lois and Clark. Waller should not appear in SL; Emil Hamilton or JHI should but Gunn won't do what is right for the character. That will be a huge turnoff to Superman fans who have waited for more than a decade for a truly Superman centric film. I will not see SL if indeed it is an ensemble film and a large segment of the fanbase will do the same. Lobo? I'd rather have Brainiac as this will probably be the last "Superman" film they do. Perhaps budget issues will drive this. They pretty much need to hold the production cost to 150 million. And another 100 million for marketing. Meaning SL will "only" need 500 million plus to break even. Brainiac, done properly, is too expensive to do. The sale to Universal or another studio would be a Godsend. It's a given the new owner would drop Gunn's Phase 1 which is an eclectic mish mash of projects most fans are not interested in. Only 3 of them interest me. These films/TV shows are Gunn's pet peeves so the sooner the sale is completed the better. The sale could be done by late 2025 with Gunn's contract up in 2026. Coincidental timing.

Jason Momoa will be great as Lobo! However, I do miss Emmett J Scanlan's Lobo from Krypton, the TV series. But, hey! At least we're getting more Lobo in the future!
I think Todd Stashwick would be an even better Lobo than Momoa (with or withour Daawg or space dolphins). Give Momoa a charater to offer him (and us) something different than we have already seen or would expect from him. No strong fighting tough musclebound showcasing... i'd cast him as Vandal Savage and use him as a replacement for an expected Lex Luther as the leaderr/genius villain to thwart. :)
I'd prefer a generic Lobo plot if he's in Superman. Quietly set up the real villain while Lobo comes to earth to take a contract on Superman, then at the end Lobo and Supes team up to beat the villain and then Lobo rides back to space for his solo film.
I doubt we'll have a Lobo/Superman team up considering all the other heroes which have been cast in the film

Waller & Jaime sticking around is 100% fine to me, but Peacemaker I’m 90% okay with since I have a few questions:
1.) Will the rest of 2021’s The Suicide Squad cast be kept because Peacemaker is in it (including Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn)? It’s pretty separate from the rest of the DCEU in terms of events because nothing is really referenced outside of Bloodsport shooting Superman (and Gunn said he could not confirm WHICH Superman he shot at the time, meaning it could’ve been Corenswet’s). I’d be fine with this because of how separate it feels and I’d love to see those characters back.
2.) With the rest of Team Peacemaker coming back, what does that mean for all of the properties that they’ve appeared in. Harcourt showed up in Black Adam (not because of Gunn), and she & Economos showed up to recruit Shazam into the JSA. Will these events just not be mentioned? Gadot showed up in Shazam 2’s ending, Shazam 1 references Man of Steel and JL’s events, Black Adam had Cavill’s Superman cameo, and (most importantly of all) Peacemaker Season 1 ends with a totally unnecessary JL cameo with Mamoa and Miller. I get bts reasons why those all happened, but how confusing will that be for first time DCU watchers seeing a random JL cameo at the end of S1 before watching S2?
Other than Peacemaker Season 1’s ending, I’m totally okay with all the confirmed characters being brought over. We’ll get it, but will they? Hopefully they explain it well for new DCU viewers going into the next projects.
I think James Gunn has said his Suicide Squad movie is not canon in the DCU. The canon of the DCU starts with Creature Commandos next year. Everything before is non-canon to the DCU.

I think the reboot was needed at this point. I loved the Snyder trilogy and the actors (especially Cavill/Affleck/Gadot) but certain things from that universe wouldn't have worked for a live action DC Universe going forward (Dick Grayson being dead meaning no true Nightwing and an older Batman going forward come to mind). If we can truly get a scenario where the tone of each film varies on the character as opposed to everything being the same tone (ala the MCU the past couple phases) then that's a great thing. Still sucks that we didn't get that ZSJL follow up but i'm fine with moving on at this point. I'm a Snyder fan but I'm not gonna be hash tagging "restorethesnyderverse" or "sellZSJLtowhoever" for another 5-10 years. Chapter 1 of the new slate sounds promising so let's just hope Gunn & Safran deliver.

I think one of the problems with The flash movie, is they did too much copying and pasting story lines. None of the villains were fleshed out. Most of the time The flash is basically just fighting himself. And trying to figure out what to do. Some of that would have been just fine, but you should have took one of the two villains and really fleshed them out real well. And then also bringing Michael Keaton back is Batman, would have been phenomenal, but the problem is we only get to see like 30-40 minutes of that. Especially with AI you need to do a Michael Keaton Batman. Real obvious if we have a.I to make people look younger, you might want to stop messing around and find a really good script for a trilogy with Michael Keaton as Batman.
Jason Mamoa is a great actor, but he didn't fit for Aquaman. I prefer the clean-cut version personally. Mamoa is perfect for Lobo.

In my honest opinion, I think WB and DC should just take their losses and not release Aquaman 2 at all. Shelve the project. WB would probably save money that way anyways. If they don't release the movie. It would be 23 months between movies in DC. Giving fans a chance to process the change from DCEU to DCU. It also gives James Gunn a chance to do his cinematic universe without outside drama. Just my opinion though.
They cant do that. If u bring Batgirl then that was a case of transitioning between WB and WBD so they could do it but they cant anymore. They gonna release it maybe it turns a profit who knows. Or nah. We shall see.

Maybe they could just release it straight to Max. But it shouldn't be released to theaters. I'm not seeing it in theaters anyways. Just my opinion though.
I agree with recasting everybody if you're going to do this because you need to reset everything back to the beginning, Even though I love the actual cast of The Justice League in snydiverse. The only thing I hope is that I know James Gunn has a sense of humor and it's funny I just hope he doesn't portray that through Batman unless it's in a serious manner. We need a personal story for our new Superman, as he is the foundation of this new DCU, and the same applies to Batman and Wonder Woman. Let's avoid the mistakes of the DCEU, which relied too heavily on cameos. What I want to say is that they need to learn to walk before they run.

What if they made the bizarro league and used Snyder's actors to play bizarro versions of their characters that they played in the Snyder-verse? The other things that's extremely annoying is we had the perfect Superman. Not so good of a Batman. I'm not saying Affleck is a bad actor. But plain and simple the whole time we have needed an extremely talented actor like Michael Keaton quality to take over the mantle. Real obvious that Ben Affleck is not the guy. So now we can't have the right Superman. Even though we have a I could make him look 10-15 years younger no problem. But no had to make the wrong casting for Batman. What a disappointment.

Deluded to think that gunn is going to be successful at bringing any of these DC characters to the big screen because it doesn't matter who is in charge now because all the big cinemas were not only hit by the pandemic they were also hit by the likes of Netflix and all the other available streaming services around the world and this is having a negative impact on people who want to go to the cinema because a lot of the big name cinemas are actually going out of business because even I have noticed a huge drop in cinema attendances in the last 3 movies I have watched unfortunately the flash and black Adam being two of them but that might be because they were crap movies anyway 😂

Wonder Woman must be tall, so the minimum height for the new actress should be 175cm (5ft9). There are many beautiful actresses with blue eyes out there, but finding one who is very tall is rare. Even Gal Gadot is considered rare because she is both beautiful and tall (179cm).

No to Ezra Miller continuing on as the Flash. They were given to many chances already despite all of the horrendous things they have been accused of doing. Flash is the name of the character, not something you do to people!. In addition to all the other things they have been accused of. Get it Ezra?.
The DCU is destined to fail simply because it won't be able to shake off the Zack Snyder stink. It is a mistake not to completely reboot and recast. It's an even bigger mistake to cast Jason Momoa as Lobo and then put him in your first new Superman movie of this new shared universe. Idiots. Zack Snyder broke DC and Gunn is an even bigger hack. It should not be this hard to make good movies with some of the best characters ever created.
My greatest fear is that DISNEY will try to buy WB, not Universal, thus not just BLURRING the lines between DC and Marvel, but OBLITERATING it. They would homogenize the two universes, mixing them up with some sort of Ultra-Woke DEI Agenda, and sucking out ALL QUALITY. Then, of course tell the fans to stop WHINING, because it's BETTER now, and if the fans don't like it, there's something WRONG with the FANS. No, to be clear, I HAVE NOT HEARD THIS RUMOR. Waller in Superman Legacy? Lobo in Superman Legacy? SL is changing almost monthly from its original premise. Not a good sign. This is what wrecked the DCEU. Plus, rumors of more "supers" being added to the SL cast after the actors' strike is over. It becomes harder to deny that SL will be an ensemble film featuring Lois and Clark. Waller should not appear in SL; Emil Hamilton or JHI should but Gunn won't do what is right for the character. That will be a huge turnoff to Superman fans who have waited for more than a decade for a truly Superman centric film. I will not see SL if indeed it is an ensemble film and a large segment of the fanbase will do the same.
Lobo? I'd rather have Brainiac as this will probably be the last "Superman" film they do. Perhaps budget issues will drive this. They pretty much need to hold the production cost to 150 million. And another 100 million for marketing. Meaning SL will "only" need 500 million plus to break even. Brainiac, done properly, is too expensive to do.
The sale to Universal or another studio would be a Godsend. It's a given the new owner would drop Gunn's Phase 1 which is an eclectic mish mash of projects most fans are not interested in. Only 3 of them interest me. These films/TV shows are Gunn's pet peeves so the sooner the sale is completed the better. The sale could be done by late 2025 with Gunn's contract up in 2026. Coincidental timing.
