I was beyond excited to see Hawkgirl cast, I grew up on Justice League and Justice League Unlimited so any of the characters from that I want to see because those cartoons were literally perfection
Without a doubt, we'll see Deathstroke in the DCU. I can definitely see Deathstroke as the villain in a Titans or Nightwing movie. It would be awesome if Deathstroke gets his own solo movie in the DCU down the line. I want it to be a cross between John Wick and Logan.
I wanna see some broader DC characters. Nightwing, Red Hood, Black Lightning. Dr. Fate and Young Justice. I would love for the DCU to be a continuation. Instead of a constant recast of the same characters
Static movie first so we get the origin and DC can have their own Spider-Man, ya know? The Flash clearly didn't work out as a Spider-Man clone. lol

Nightwing/the Titans would be my number one for sure and then a worlds finest. but I’d love to see Zatanna & Constantine and black Canary & huntress & green arrow too. Mostly I want to see all the friendships and fun heroining and staying away from multiverse or time travel (beyond booster gold) for a few years.

My picks include:
- Teen Titans/Young Justice movie (maybe H.I.V.E. and Fearsome Five as the main villains to start? I personally just want the OG Titans and the New Titans lineups. This could also be a great opportunity to see certain members deal with finding their own place in the world/superhero community and moving on from their mentors)
- Trinity movie (maybe based on the current World's Finest comics, would love to see Batman and Superman actually being friends and respecting each other)
- Green Arrow movie (Count Vertigo, Merlyn, and the Longbow Hunters as main villains in each movie in a hypothetical trilogy)
- Static movie or series
- New Gods movie: they could even bring back Ava DuVernay since her New Gods project was scrapped
- Batwoman movie or miniseries that is very noir themed. This can work as a Question series or even for Elongated Man but I was thinking about how Batwoman could've been slightly improved if it were a noir detective drama. If anything, maybe an Elongated Man mini series in the style of mystery shows like Castle or Monk.
- some sort of anthology series, a redone version of the old plans for Strange Tales. Could introduce minor characters like The Creeper, Phantom Stranger, Jonah Hex, etc.
- Legion of Superheroes
Honorable Mentions (these are projects I'm sure will happen or things I hope to see):
- Wonder Woman movie
- Flash movie (preferably if the Rogues can be the main villains in the first film, then bring in Eobard and Grodd for future Flash projects)
- Justice League movie: assuming the New Frontier storyline rumor is true, I would love the Legion of Doom as the next antagonists.
* Suicide Squad showing up throughout the DCU in cameo roles or supporting roles
* JSA: I want them to try and do a full ensemble. Previous iterations felt limited in which member can appear. (I'd love to see Wildcat act as a mentor for several characters in the DCU)
* Doom Patrol: if they do this, it might be more classic DP with a "retro 60's feel" and the Brotherhood of Evil as the main antagonists.
Batwoman in the vibe of Jessica jones could be cool
I want Nightwing the most since he’s my favorite superhero
tbh James Gunn is already giving me what I want from the DCU in Woman of Tomorrow. The main other thing I see myself really wanting would be a Batgirls show

I would like to see that but I think you’d need to do a New Gods movie based on Kirby’s original work first to lay the foundations of those characters in the public eye.
A Martian man hunter movie has a lot of potential
I want a Cassandra Cain movie because she’s my favourite bat-family member (besides batman ofc) and she is seriously underrated
Batgirl(s) don’t deserve a movie bc of what kind of character they are written into but I’m more than 60% confident that Cassandra Cain Would be in the Brave And The Bold Movie. It’s too golden of an idea not to have her and Damian almost grow up together in the league of shadows and get changed by Batman and Nightwing

Also based on the suicide squad thing, I know they are already making a video game BUT, I think a suicide squad telltale (choose your own adventure) would be absolutely amazing. Imagine the choices you make actually affecting who lives and who dies, also Imagine choosing your team, there is so much potential here imo.
I agree more the suicide squad but I remember on the inside of you podcast he said he was sadly not doing any sequel. Sorry dude.
Someone might’ve already said it, but something simple like a worlds finest movie would be truly awesome. I think dc fans haven’t really had that despite how successful the concept has been and still is.
John Contsantine was first intoduced in a Swamp Thing comic. They could possibly do the same thing in this or the next film.
The WW in the first 3 years thing could easily be chocked up to Paradise Lost exploring her creation --- I am actually hoping the JSA already exists (and maybe their downfall leads to the rise of the JSA) in Legacy. Could be a whole mini-series (3-6 eps) as a backstory later on like you've said... as long as Hodge and Brosnan return lol. Give me The Question as a series, too! Though I secretly want him in the Reevesverse, he could even be an interesting narrator for the whole DCU.
I would love to see Animal Man come on screen he's so underrated his powers can definitely fit in with this new dcu he can bring so much Potential to bring every thing together
Animal Man is a comedy character now. He'd be a Deadpool-ish character in live action.

Great video, Boba! I completely agree with your list! I also had some personal additions in mind:
1. A World's Finest movie based on the current Mark Waid's run would be fantastic, especially with the Super-Batman fusion!
2. I'm biased towards the DCAU Series, so I'd want to see Wally West become a patent JL member (either straight away or after Titans).
3. Not a project, but I'd want to see Mxyzptlk and Bat-Mite (I had the idea that he was probably the old man from Peacemaker).
4. The Wonderbat-like dynamic from the DCAU Series, again not a project, soz.
5. Peacemaker and Orion (somehow, haha).
6. WildC.A.T.s (either an Elseworld's Series or a crossover with the Authority).

I want a Deathstroke solo film and also a Red Hood solo spinoff maybe an Outlaws spinoff. Those 2 characters would go HARD ASF in their own movies
A death-stroke film would go ridiculously HARD cos the possibilities are endless..could do like an “Apocalypse Now” and set it in Vietnam or something for his origins.

It would be great if we had JSA as a flashback, maybe another take on Wonder Woman at World war II or World war I. (Giving meaning to idea that the age of heroes coming back when we get the Justice League). What if we had Wonder woman step in to stop world war 1 just to find JSA already trying to, but lacking team work, and than we have Diana step in and give the JSA the leadership that they lacked to stop the war. Diana would be a great lead to the story that we follow, since we would be familiarized with her, and it would be a great opportunity to introduce the JSA as a group, being able to bring some of the JSA members back either in a HBO max series or in Alternate universes.
I mean, there's SO much you can do with this characters, that trying to guess what James wants to do is pretty hard. All I want is the see different versions of the Flash in the big screen, Wally, Wallace, Barry, Jay and Bart.

You should do a top 10 most wanted dcu video games, as James Gunn said they’ll be game projects. I’m sure I’m not alone in wanting to see which heroes or villains you’d like to have adapted into video game form, what would it look like? How would it play?
How about a Legion of Superheroes live action? I would even settle for the Espionage Squad or the Substitute Legion. Next a R rated Deadman project with a Constatine supporting cast. I love Tim Hunter and would love a Book of Magic adaptation. A movie that explores the Batman/Superman relationship. The JSA with Fate and Hourman. A Challengers Metal Men combo. Sergeant Rock!

Here's my ten. Some will include "showcases" that could introduce a character into the DCU.
10. Justice Society (Showcase) -- A series that shows the history of the DCU. Would be cool if it was filmed like one of the documentary films.

7. Doom Patrol --- I just love this team. I love weird stuff.

5. Dr. Fate film -- Dev Patel as Khalid Nassour
4. Animal Man (Limited Series) Buddy Baker vs Brother Blood -- with King of Limbs, Living Nightmare and Lennox(maybe) all showing up in the series. Sets up the idea of a Rot World style story with JLD. Max Theirot as Buddy Baker.
3. Justice League Dark Film --- Maybe call it Shadow Pact
2. Constantine series -- introduce Zatanna, Black Orchid & Dead Man -- Constantine wins the House of Mystery during this series would be cool.
1. Teen Titans / Titans -- Here's the deal. I feel like these should be separate but the same. Maybe something like Titans Academy.
For the Titans team I want: Nightwing, Donna Troy, Aqualad, Cyborg, Starfire, Beast Boy, & Raven
For the Teen Titans: Damian Wayne, Sideways, Omen (younger version), Miss Martian (younger version), & Jakeem Thunder. -- Jakeem is part of the reason why I want them to introduce the JSA in a showcase. That way we can have legacy characters in the DCU.
In Chapter 2, I really want a Batman: Under the Red Hood film with them dealing with Jason Todd. It would be a great problem for Damian to deal with and Bruce to deal with also. Damian thinking the Red Hood is right in his ways but also wanting to make his father proud of him at the same time and not knowing what to do about it. Meanwhile, Bruce is having to deal with one of the darkest moments he had faced as Batman, losing one of the robins and then realizing that he failed Jason.
It could lead to Jason and him wondering about starting his own team, the Outlaws.

Playing around with different timelines in the DCU. How cool would it be if they rewrote Terry McGinnis to actually stumble upon an older Damian Wayne in a further in the future Gotham.
It would create a really cool dynamic showing Damian as a father like figure to Terry, could maybe still write in the fact that he is a clone of Bruce Waynes DNA for extra drama.
1. Nightwing (do not portray him as he needs Batman that pisses me off. Put an emphasis on his rivalry with Deathstroke and Blockbuster )
2. Green Arrow film (with canary)
3. Titans (NW, Aqualad,Speedy, Donna, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, Kid flash and BB)
4. Static, Icon, and Rocket(milestone characters in general
5. Green Lantern (movie preferably John Stewart )
6. A good Martian Manhunter portrayal
7. A proper Flash movie with someone who resembles Barry Allen and captures the characteristics of the character.
8. JL, a well establish JL universe similar to the animated series but with gunns own take on it.

10. I would love for Steel to be incorporated into the Superman movies alongside Lana, Jimmy, etc.. I think recent films lose touch with the fact that Clark Kent is a regular dude man. I’m tired of the fish out of water thing.
HM: I’d be interested in series involving members of the Bat family specifically Red Robin Tim Drake. I don’t like the idea of skipping over Dick as Robin but it’s doable but I don’t want Tim to be completely ignored. All of the robins especially Dick are integral parts of Bruce’s character development.
Red hood and the outlaws/Dark trinity would be amazing. The rebirth run with Jason, Artemis and Bizzaro is a current favorite and reminds me a lot of Gunns style

Mr. Terrific needs to be on the JSA. They are a way cooler team than the Terrifics, with an incredibly rich history. I would love a proper JSA film.

1)Zatanna is my 4th favorite Superhero and I was sad when her film got cancelled so I really hope we get a project with her either as the lead or Justice League Dark

The 5 projects I would love to see in James Gunn's DC films are
5) Zatanna - I would love to see Gunn explore more the mystical side of the DC universe and Zatanna would work perfect for this since she's the daughter of magician and a homo magi (being who can use magic)
4) Plastic Man - Besides cool powers, his origin of being a criminal who after suffering a accident tries to reform could make him DC's answer to MCU's Scott Lang.
3) Question and Captain Atom - Since DC already has a Blue Beetle film and Peacemaker tv series, they would be completing their Chalton heroes adaptations.
2) JSA - It could be either a film taking place in the 40's, showing DCU golden age, or it could take place in modern day, with the JSA being introduce as old heroes training the next generation.
1) Legion of the Substitute Heroes - a spin off series from a LSH film, showing this group of reject heroes with bizarre and flawed powers still trying to save the world, proving they can be great heroes despite people's opinions about them and their powers.

I like the JSA idea but maybe not them back in WW2 in their prime but maybe when they are hitting retirement age. I know in the DCAU Justice League Wild Cat was an old timer brawler hero that taught Black Canary. I think you could lean into something like that where a lot of vigilante heroes sort of explode out being inspired by them. Like maybe even Bruce seeing it was possible because of Wild Cat and Black Canary’s mom ect. It could be a way to give a back door origin to things like Batman without seeing it again. Like Wildcat tells Batman he’s not in the business anymore but refers him to someone he knows and queue a montage of Bruce going trainer to trainer until stumbling upon a trainer being killed by league of Assassins and does a take me to your leader thing.

What you do with Deathstroke is a titans movie where Deathstroke is a villain working for the movie's big bad and he gets defeated by Nightwing specifically (like with help but the hatred goes toward Nightwing maybe because he does or says something taunting). Then you follow up with a Nightwing movie where Deathstroke escapes his prison and hunts down Nightwing and tries to dismantle his life (like what the Batfleck movie was gonna be but Nightwing focused)

I feel like everyone is going on the assumption that we are going to see the formation of the Justice League at some point. Personally I doubt more and more that this is going to be the case. We know they aren’t doing origin stories, from the casting announcements it really seems like Superman already knows some of the heroes. I see know reason why we can’t pick up in a universe where the league has already been formed.
The project I’d wanna see the most is the same as your #1. Nightwing needs a solo project!
I mentioned this in a previous video comment, but I think it’s also important to note that Superman: Legacy again is not an origin story and could be years into his own career. The JSA and a few other heroes after could exist but I feel that it’s important Clark is senior to most of the new generation, and it’s very likely here. James Gunn confirmed he’ll be David Corenswet’s age at 30, and Clark in most comic iterations becomes Superman at about 25.
It’s just that Christopher Reeve’s version trained in the Fortress for 12 years (18-30) and Henry Cavill’s went public at 33 (as he says to Dr. Emil Hamilton) only years after secretly being a hero that people think Superman starts at around 30. Otherwise, in Pre-Crisis, Birthright, Secret Origin and Post-Flashpoint, Clark starts being a hero not long after college if not long before as Superboy. There’s also the Smallville situation as well.
With that being said, relating it back to the video, I’d love to see a JSA movie set in the 40s through 50s, showing their rise and fall/retirement. I think there’s a good chance Clark and the other heroes being inspired by their legacy (hence the title) and ideals will be a huge part of Superman: Legacy. Guy Gardner is a GL, very different from but still having the name and similar powers to Alan Scott. Hawkgirl Kendra Saunders is related to Hawkwoman Shiera Saunders. Michael Holt became Mister Terrific inspired by Terry Sloane (and also Jim Corrigan’s Spectre). But of course, it’s Superman who upholds their ideals of Truth and Justice. Heh, Barry Allen is also famously a huge Jay Garrick fanboy so who knows maybe that’ll be an important point too.
Green arrow is my favorite dc character ever so I would definitely want to see a movie by himself first. He really deserves it. Next a deathstroke mini series would be awesome as well. A rated r mercenary show is 🔥

Totally agreed on a World’s Finest movie. Long overdue. And while I concede a little tension between Batman & Superman makes for good viewing, there’s no reason whatsoever to have the two of them at each other’s throats. Let’s establish the friendship, then maybe a Trilogy project with Wonder Woman, and then have the three of them form the League in Chapter Two. And honestly, who cares if Marvel put the Avengers in phase one? Doesn’t mean DC has to do everything the same way. Build it up slowly and let us grow to care and get invested in these characters.

7. An Animated series called like “DC Legends” where each episode would introduce a lesser known DC character with an episode featuring their back story. Example: Captain Atom, Plastic Man, Ted Kord Blue Beetle, Hawkman etc.

i NEED to see a justice league dark movie with Constantine introduced in it that sets up an either sequel or prequel solo movie for Constantine, can introduce so many characters leading up to it with the other dcu movies in cameos and such. Would be awesome to have that come after swamp thing and have him be a returning and main character in the justice league dark movie. I would also love to see them introduce raven in some sort of way and trigon and other big supernatural characters like that in any sort of movie

2. Nightwing - A movie exploring the fallout and and eventual repaired relationship of Bruce and Dick with James Gordon Junior as the villain.
3. Kingdom Come - Somehow adapt this story way down the line
I want a lot of bat-family content wether it’s shows or movies. A red hood project could work as a show or movie. I need a Nightwing project. Maybe even a show that could be animated, an anthology series with all the robins with Batman, and not all at once but let’s say the first 3 episodes are Batman and Dick Grayson, the 1st episode is the introduction to Duck, the second is Batman and Robin working at their best together then, the 3rd is Dick moving on and going to Blüdhaven. And so on, with Jason, maybe it could lead into a Red Hood vs Batman movie.

If I were to be as realistic as possible for the rest of the dcu for chapter 1 I would say u r definitely getting projects on Wonder Woman, teen titans, justice league dark, green arrow, justice league. Also as for Wonder Woman, instead of another Wonder Woman solo movie, I could see Wonder Woman debut in the dcu be a trinity movie with Wonder Woman being the main character and having one of her villains be the main villain and she asks Batman and Superman to help her out.
I really want a nightwing solo project, also give me a titans team, but a nightwing solo show or movie is what I really want
I’d like to see Blackest Night and Brightest Day one day. Also Crisis on Infinite Earths, Batgirl, Green Lanterns Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz, Martian Manhunter, New Gods, Black Lightning, Earth 2 with Val Zod and War of Light. First five are my favorites, the others are just the ones I thought about.
Blackest night is one of the few comic storylines I’ve actually read because it interested me so much! I’d love to see the DCU do that maybe in chapter 2

I'd love a Question origin or solo film and maybe Huntress or other DC characters who are more in the detective realm can have cameos. I think it would be something different and noir-esque like The Batman.
It would be tragic if we never get to see brenton thwaites as nightwing again

I agree Brenton is perfect casting for nightwing just like Matt Ryan is perfect as Constantine. And I think regardless of how you feel of titans or legends those two particularly are just Great

I just hope they learned from their mistakes and build slowly. Also, they need to look at films like Iron Man and GOTG to see how to introduce unknown characters. I know Gunn has experience with that in GOTG.
One thing Marvel also has is Kevin Fiege who came up in the industry working on both good and bad Superhero films and learned what worked and what didn't.
They need to take it slowly. Do a Superman film that focuses on just Superman they way "Superman and Lois" does and build from there.

- A Flash vs Rouges project centred on Wally West
- An Icon/Rocket project
And these aren’t projects but I’d definitely want to see Cassandra Cain (also done right unlike how she was done dirty in Birds of Prey), Zatanna, Steel, Black Canary, Huntress, Deathstroke, Vixen and of course Red Hood to all have major roles in the DCU.
I NEED a JSA project rn idc movie or show but i feel a show would fit more and they can do 2 timelines kinda like Arrow and the flashbacks they can do present day JSA adventures and their adventures in the past and we can see different members
A Harley Quinn series that also have flash backs to help establish her backstory in this universe, also a question trilogy base on Denis O’Neil run
The MCU DIDN'T do an avengers movie until 4 years in. But regardless why must the MCU always be the measuring stick, why can't anyone else be free to do their own thing?
