Just saying if Ashnard truly only cared about the powerfull ruling above the rest he would have given the throne to my 20/20 cap strenght, magic and speed Mia instead of softlocking my run
One funny thing worth mentioning about Manfroy is how he dies if you kill Julius first and has a line (taken from serenesforest): Manfroy: “W, what’s happening!? Oh no! The life-force of darkness is fading… Nyaagh… Loput… ou… su…” It's so unserious, how are we supposed to view the loptians as sympathetic and oppressed when their cult leader is literally driven by "the life force of darkness" itself, on top of all the other examples of "nyeheheh we're evil" you mentioned lmao
I agree that the 4 Hounds are horrible, with the sole exception of Greiss. Unlike the 3 other he doesn't have a "deep down I'm actually good, just ignore my genocides" sob story, he appears the least tied with Zephia except that one of those is a solo apearance which comes with a pretty cool map gimmick while Zephia's apearance without him is just one where she's just another enemy to bully, and his death has some dramatic irony that I cannot help myself but to like. Also his alternate counterpart is called Gregory. Like imagine being a villain named Gregory. That's just embarassing. But yeah, the other 3 hounds are bottom of the barrel garbage villains. I wish that Engage had more generic bosses like Abyme.
Chagall, the dumbest villian I have seen in any game. At end of chapter 2 when sigurd promised the return of augustria after 1 year I was totally thinking "yeah right, like any sane ruler would return a good piece of land he won through bloodshed (lets assume there was bloodshed since you know, technically it was a war)", and 6 month later i was kind of proven right. but then, chagall had to jump right in, and give sigurd an excuse to keep that piece of land he invaded without having to feel guilty about it. From that moment on, chagall is my number one dumbass villian in all of fire emblem.
Arvis grima black lopteus cult knight top tier Rudolf Rhea walhart gangrel are alright Aversa vaildar echoes dragons ok. Anakos garon and their group has potential if better written since they did have power. Edegard lyon engage villains bad.
Btw her name is Eremiya I get the Kaga sexism complaints, I agree with most of them, but hilariously enough the Kaga game remakes seem to be worse. It's like it was a challenge to take even more agency away from the female characters
The weird thing is there is kind of a weird dichotomy. Because Kaga games have some of the most sexist and gross plot points that are cringe. But there isn't much high fantasy with leading women who are heroic warriors from that Era which is definitely one thing fire emblem doesn't get enough credit for.
@@LP-zn8sc tbh I think a decent amount of “Kaga sexism” feels more like what people in a European medieval setting would genuinely act like and not sexism from the writers themselves In comparison, adding another mind controlled witch subplot to SOV just to have Alm save Celica, and yet another to have Berkut kill his wife and turn her into a witch, said wife in question having no personality outside of “nice” and “girl” feels a lot more genuinely sexist to me Same with Eremiya’s whole deal in general. Like, no, there can’t be a genuinely evil woman, she has to be just Gharnef again basically
I kinda dig the brutal honesty with no care for how the fe fanbase will flip out over some of these rankings, I can tell this is honest because there was shitting on both three houses and engage instead of picking one to become unhealthily angry and obsessed over wich is surprisingly common in this dumpster fire called fire emblem discussions

zephiel should’ve been put in "i wish to end for the age of man" because he sure does do that
Susan enjoyed the early uploads of Lost in thoughts all alone because of the *Moans of increasing discomfort* not in spite of it.

"Athena the Balmung girl" is my favorite FE character 💯💯💯
The thumbnail made me laugh

This is what I’ve needed
Poor Malice became the visual representative of how terrible Eremiya is as a villain. Even though being a unit in FE12 is bad enough already.
when’s the path of radiance pmu (or something) happening bc i love seeing people experience tellius
I'm not that invested in tellius which is why I haven't played it on the channel yet despite playing the archanea saga several times over

What you mean Lyon bad, he's easily top tier 😭
You forgot Rafal and Aelfric and I guess lundgren from Lyn mode.
Also I don't think to remember Ludveck's motivations or his actions
Btw her name is Eremiya

Garon is comically evil from the get-go and we love him for it. Edeltard is pure evil while pretending to be a savior. They're not the same.
