This works until you move your carrier’s position around. I set up a mission and after fleshing out the mission with targets, static objects, busy carrier deck, etc.. I had to move the carrier group back a few miles and now all of a sudden it’s like the map wants to load everything else first and that slight change in order of sequence caused it to break. Any suggestions?

Yo so I cant even spawn on the carrier itself. I've tried everything from every tutorial and my F 18 just despawns or I cant control it. Its super annoying and wondering if you can help?
Unfortunately this is the only way I know how. When I encountered this problem I searched on RUclips too but I didn't find any useful help... I decided to brows on forums and discords and with help I got it working. So at least there is a way. But ED should really fix this.
@@Eretaloma Not your fault and I certainly appreciate the effort. There are also other improvements ED should make like getting 'Recording' working and utilizing more than one Core for better performance. Instead they are going for the Star Citizen approach: ignore the engine and sell as many spaceships, in ED's case fighters, as possible.
@@KDLR2 dumb question maybe but are you remembering to set your aircraft to takeoff from ramp/runway when you place it in the editor? It'll be in the waypoint number 0 options. By default aircraft usually set to airborne start. Also don't forget to change it to client/player controlled.

Make sure the group that despawns isnt the one you want to control

How are you able to see the carrier top view when applying planes. I can't see it
Theres a small button on the bottom of the mission editor which looks like a tank. If you click it you can see units
Works on Forrestal also, but to the rear elevator for me. Way cool.
There has to be an easier way. This seems unnecessary.

just simply delay the start time of the group, by 1 second.
yo how do you get the objects to appear on the map like that?
In the middle bottom of the screen you should see a tank icon, click that

do you have the super carrier module? if not, then the free carrier has been broken since the 2.9 update unfortunately.

@@KDLR2 Mmm...I dont and now it works for me somehow. Maybe disable the SC mod and try with the free CVN 74 stennis?

edit waypoint 0 options to start from runway/ramp
