Thanks for sharing. I’m hoping to build up an ATB style rigid SS mountain bike. My last rigid SS frame cracked. I’m will build up a new one soon with those same parts.
I saw this bike at MADE and thought it looked great. Very nice proportions. Can you tell me what kind of drop handlebar the bike is running? Looks comfy!
It’s a PRO discover 20deg Carbon bar. The interface with the shifters is really nice. I’m pretty blown away by that stem too. It’s a PRO Vibe superlight. Would totally run that on my personal bikes.
Hey there, love your content and this bike! I was wondering without the bridge on the two seat stays would it be pretty flexy? My friend, that has been a mechanic for 30 years, said he thought if he were to ride it, it would be too flexy for him. He weighs around 230 and is very powerful. Thanks so much!
@@timnoonan2786 bridges have a minor impact on stiffness, but in our experience, the front triangle and wheels have a much bigger impact. It’s hard to compare across different bikes and time periods. If someone likes a stiff bike, there are plenty of carbon options out there!
@@gearsofmedicine thanks! The Crux is a great bike. I would totally buy the new aluminum one. Both have very simple tube shapes and no gimmicks like metal bike!
No spacers look sick, but thats only if you can ride a slammed position. Spacers allow you to have more standover and seatpost extension (more flex). If you increase the headtube length to get rid of the spaces, the bike looks super goofy. Only pros and wanna-be-pros can pull of no spacers!
@@Daniel_Yang_ARTEFACT That's the first thing that came to my mind as well. Is there anything specific about the bike that is a symbolism for Epyon other than the name?
@@matthew-tse I like to pull nerdy or asian pop culture into cycling. To me, this bike is a high tech, futuristic machine, like a Gundam! I wanted to annodize the logos red, but we didn't have the time.
@@Daniel_Yang_ARTEFACT yes, me too. i'm naming/labeling on the downtube my next ti gravel bike as the "Loam Wanderer", which is a play on dirt and my a character from my favorite video game fallout 3

This is honestly the most beautiful gravel bike I have ever seen. Keep up the good work!
thank you! Simple is elegant. Glad you like it!
New logo looks so good!
So simple, yet so powerful. AJ spent months on the logo, and it really shows.
@@Daniel_Yang_ARTEFACTsimple is often actually really hard. Would be an interesting video to see his process in a video
Killing it with the commentary👌
What's the weight of this frame?

Single speeders are crazy. Much respect!

If you can build me a custom Ti Hummingbird rigid SS. I would love it!

Sweet ride. I liked the interview of the people talking. They sounded like some Anglo Canadians that I know. Nice chill people.
Beautiful bike.
could be the one bike to rule them all
Nice!!!
Awesome! 👍💯😎

Was this custom made for Zechs Merquise
This bike was made for AJ (in the video) and also MADE bike show
@@Daniel_Yang_ARTEFACT you missed the joke. Zechs Marquise is the Gundam pilot of the Epyon suit. Love the bike tho.
@@valiantabello haha sorry! I watched Gundam Wing so long ago. Good times! But that’s a great idea, the character names could be great bike names!

Yup, we showed this bike in our booth!
hear me out, titanium frameset buttttttt with GT/Lapierre floating triple triangle seat stays partner with Cannondale SAVE micro suspension😈
Would be sick!
So much talking for a bike that looks like every other carbon fork overly modern "gravel bike"
