Yes! I had two. We use to make putu for the 3 dogs in the evening. It was still warm in the morning. When we left the farm, we gave the farmer the one Wonder Bag. The dogs were not ours, when went rent the farm house. The dogs were there already, the farmer asked if we minded to look after them. They were lovely natured dogs. I have used the Wonder Bag occasionally since, but would love to make better use of it. Your idea sounds great. 😋 Thank you.
Oh nice! I am really excited to hear how everyone is using their Wonderbags as there are so many creative ways of using it, for example yours with using it for the dog food! Really clever! Hopefully the recipes I will start sharing soon will add even more ways for you to use it moving forward 🌻
Yay, so glad you love yours 💚 Using the Wonderbag to proof bread and let it rise with some warmth over the colder months is also a really good use for it. Thank you for sharing 🌻
Yeah, that's pretty steep if you are not in South Africa and the concept is pretty simple with people all around the world having created their own iterations of this over time 🌻
I started of with a wonder box (similar to a hay box). After 30 years I switch to a wonderbag which I use almost everyday. Just ordered two more... I find that less liquid is needed as there is no evaporation.
Yay, this is absolutely incredible to hear and I am sure you have some amazing recipes you have created and crafted over the years and so happy to hear you manage to use it often 🌻
This is awesome. I live in the hot humid area north of the Gulf of Mexico where the less you heat your kitchen in the summer the better (cheaper). Thanks. Good tip.
This is a really good point that you raise with reducing ambient temperature in hot climates. Really clever and thanks for taking the time to leave me a comment 🌻
Hi, do you have a special link for the prices above? I just tried to purchase 2x and it's showing R 250 for 1 excl delivery. Unless your prices have gone up?
Hey, thanks for dropping me a comment. During the time of the video that is the special that they were running, but I know that they regularly have specials, especially on South African public holidays.i would suggest following them on social media to stay up to date with all of their specials and updates 🌻
@@tinamaggiore9363Wow! I'm trying to grasp how it's better than a Crock-Pot. Is it just that it uses less energy? Thanks for weighing in with your experience! Edit: Ah. I just got to the part where it talks about the Wonderbag's superiority over open-fire cooking. Makes sense.
Do you have a Wonderbag? If yes, how are you currently using it and find cooking with it? Do you use the Wonderbag as often as you would like? 🌻
