Just an added comment, as I'm currently rescuing one- for tiny tiny things like BUTTON quail, there's a tool that comes with "pipe cleaning kits" that is a tiny thin metal tool, works great for the smallest eggs.
I've seen other hatchers whose eggs were in the same condition,with shrink wrapped chicks or ducklings, and they take eye droppers and squirt a few drops down the side of the egg, and put it back inside the incubator and then the little guy eventually wriggle himself out of the egg
Oh gosh! I was so focused on making sure this little guy didn’t die in the shell that I didn’t even think about my nails. I know the video can use some improvements so thank you for the feedback. 😬
