    For those who paid these thieves by credit card, file a complaint with the credit card issuer for selling defective products and fraud. The card company will more than likely reverse the sale and credit your card, forcing the fraudsters to pay up.

      I am pretty good at reading reviews/ratings before purchase but i was desperate to find a transmission for my 91 Civic. I came across their name and i ordered the transmission. They sent me a broken transmission and i ended up paying the transmission shop another 950.00 for install. I have been calling them on a daily basis for the past 2 weeks with no luck. I just called my credit card company to file a dispute.

    One time I received a transmission that supposedly had less than 25,000 miles on it. Or at least that’s what I paid for. The trans came rusted to hell and looked like it have 400,000 miles on it. I paid to do a car fax on the VIN because it had the tag with it on it. Also it was from a place in Wisconsin not in FL like I was supposed to get it from. Turns out it had over 200k miles on the trans.

      I bought one from a place in Florida. It probably really did have 79k on it. There was sand encrusted everywhere on this thing. I cleaned it up before I installed it and changed all the seals. After I drove it around for a couple days I changed the oil.(it's a manual transmission). Just in case some sand found its way inside. Maybe I lucked out and got a good one? LOL. I really don't like using auto parts that are 20 years old but a rebuilt transmission costs more than my truck is even worth. I'm not gonna spend $2800 on a $2500 truck. I suppose I could have just went out and bought another used truck,but I might just be buying someone else's problems. Might be buying problems buying a new truck nowadays. My friend from work bought a new Chevy 1500 a couple years ago. That's been back at the dealer a few times with transmission problems. I think they replaced it already. He doesn't even haul anything.

  • @Thundarr995

    I learned the hard way, too. You just never know what you'll get when buying a used engine/transmission/transfer case/differential. I used to work out of my garage. I've ended up doing the same job twice a few times. After that, I would only install remanufactured engines/transmissions from places that I had used prior. Or have them rebuilt by a machinist that I've known for years. I have used engines from chain auto parts stores, always the more expensive long blocks. Haven't had issues with those, either. Got an Autozone tranny in my jeep right now as a matter of fact. 🤞Naaa, I trust it

    Theses part brokering company's are the scourge of the parts industry. I run a small salvage yard and they have screwed us over too. They buy a engine, ship it to you, and dispute the credit card charges( card companies seem to always side with the disputer). So they get a free engine and sell it to you at 2 to 3 the actual valve. And of course they have "remain" or low mileage units, because they decided what miles it will have or if it is "new". People, do you homework. Google there address, if its a strip mall or someones house, BEWARE. If if looks like a actual salvage yard street view it to make sure the names match. Had brokers try several time saying there were with so and so but lying thru their teeth.

I bought a moter from them and they have had to replace that motor three times now my third motor is now going out and of course my warrenty is over and they still dont want to do anything about this. I recommend not buying anything through this company. This is not how I remember people doing business.

    I brought one 7/23 that I paid 3900 over 5000 with financing. The engine went out yesterday 4/24. They saying I had 10 days after receiving the engine to activate the warranty. My vehicle wasn't ready within the ten days. I'm just finding this out. It's in one of the 5 emails that was sent to me. I wish I would've listened to the guy installing my engine he was only giving me a 90 day warranty but was charging more, but he told me I know your engine will last over 5 years if you let me order it for you. I told him how this company was guarantying me a five-year warranty not 90 days that why I went with this company. This goes to show if something sounds too good to be true most likely it is too good to be true. SMH.

    The company now goes by first class engines as well. They are the same people with different ip addresses. I recently made that mistake. I'm calling my banks now to try and dispute. I found this out because I had someone call the 2 to contrast the reps. They're both selling the same bullshit. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY with these people. It's a scam.

    Yep there is a big difference between buying a "used" engine from middlemen online and buying a rebuilt engine from a company that specializes in that particular engine.

    • @robertscheck7204
      @robertscheck7204 4 года назад +1

      not many companies / machine shops "specialize " in a particular engine .... just doesn't pay the bills and overhead of hundreds of thousands of equipment involved and shop space....... unless you are talking dealer or the auto manufacturer themselves

    • @BillClay88
      @BillClay88 4 года назад

      Of course remans are better. With a real warranty on parts and labor, it's always gonna work out. Yeah, well some ppl can't afford rebuilt, hence we buy used. Buy eBay.. at least you get their guarantee. Bought 3 used engines and used tranny over yrs. Been lucky. Not putting $2500 or 3K or more on reman engines in a 10 yr old civic or Camry. Just not worth it.
