If you want to make your Haregon creepy take levels in Shadow Sorcerer & pick-up the quirk that you blinked once last week, then portray your character as a big animated stuffed animal who never worries about being clean & just collapses when resting just like a stuffed animal would. Blankly stare at people without the blinking it will be unnerving.
It can absolutely be cool to be a pseudo undead like bunny. Its just once you spend hours looking at bunny art you start asking your self some serious questions
Friend of mine beat me to the punch with the bunny, what made it surprising was arcane tricker just to add seasoning to his character. The scenarios even though he was mostly a stealth character he had to be humorous as he described being a head on a wall mount just to hear the minions plans in person. What makes this even more impressive was how easily he could just use jump and a iron rod into a deadly combo since he’s the only rouge I know who chose to use a javelin.
Yeah that’s definitely a first for me, I have never considered a javelin for the weapon of choice rogue, I would love to see that concept in its full form I think it’s wild.
In my current game, my partner is playing a rather stoic, peace-prefering Harengon Druid of the Stars (home-'brewed' as a tasseomancer )
It works really well. I get the Fey ancestry but that doesn't mean they have to be chaotic or nightmarish. If that was so, Elves and Half-Elves would be the same.
Highly recommend them!

That’s a very valid point about the fey not being nightmarish. I personally love that stuff so I tend to speak about it more than anything. The fey is just a very free and open in that sense they are considered chaotic because there not rigid. Thats just a poor game definition of it in my personal opinion.
The fey has a lot of beautiful things to it. The music the art the plays, it’s really the best form creativity and I know I don’t ever speak about it.

A small harengon battle smith artificer gets their own mount. I enjoy my small harengon. They are good for getting into hard to fit in spaces.
There was a small Harengon artificer in my game and wow was he insanely strong! That hop is just awesome and bonus to initiative.
I'm playing a Harengon Armorer Artificer, he's only 90cm small but he is the partys Tank XD Basically Iron-Bunny
As he's small he shatters anyones kneecaps with his thunder gauntlets XD
I actually was recently in a game with a harengon armorer. It’s a potent combination!
It's so much fun till now, started him right on level 7 since our first groups journey ended on level 7 (2 died and we play now in the same world but 30 years later and have to live with the consequences).
My character will built himself a magneto like helmet since there are entities that search for great intellects to devour them (big bag for that part is an elder brain dragon (made from an elder brain and the ancient silver dragon which was the parent of my silver bard dragonborn from the first group, one of the two survivors)) so he wants to shield his brain to not be found so easily 🙈
You've been using the hop wrong. Rabbit hop does not expend movement
I'd play a Harengon as a Killer Rabbit lol¡ Ideally a Zealot Barbarian¡ Imagine a hulking 7 foot, more or less,with a spear Killer Rabbit Barbarian in a full Rage charging at you and he just won't go down,.. That's seriously scary!
Just the red eyes of a rabbit scorned charging down the road. Each hop like a punch to the earth, causing fissures as if the land it self regrets being in the way
I just started playing a harengon barbarian and I'm planning on going path of the giant.
My latest Harengon character is an Arcane Archer who’s a champion of Karametra, Theros God of Harvest.
His background is that of a soldier who specializes in scouting.
That makes a lot of sense to me. Its out in the elements and there definitely all there attributes all tie in really well especially the bunny hop ability
My longest running character ever was a harengon bard with the belief of "Suffer not an enemy to live." She was big on stabbing downed enemies to make SURE they were dead. Unsurprisingly, she had the biggest body count by the end of the campaign. Never underestimate how many people ten caltrops with Animate Object on them can slaughter.

Any Harengon Rogue's with Reliable Talent makes their initiative roll a minimum of 10. Proficiency + Alert + DEX Mod & you can see a minimum Initiative of 18+.
Yes they are really cheap in that regard throw on assassin and gloom stalker and it’s one shot city for quite some time
I would find it funny if you have a dark and evil character, but when you look at them they are a cute sanrio character. or the opposite and have a character look like Donnie Darko but act like bugs bunny.

I’m currently a player in the wild beyond the witchlight and I’m looking forward to encountering harengon. We’re going to be in the feywild in this week’s game.
Let me know how you like that module it has a lot of opportunities being a circus and well I am a creepy person soooo that’s my jam with a little dark and super edgy reflavoring, add some nightmare fuel and poof it’s a dream come true

I have always been very interested in the harengon the way i can see the culture of the harengon is kinda like the culture in places like india and other countries that have a polygamous marriage system because rabbits are typically associated with fertility and the fact rabbits populate very quickly so the loose marriage system would help to convey that in the race and as far as the history perhaps the originators of the race was an ordinary rabbits that found themselves in the fey and evolved into the harengon we know today and perhaps some of those original harengons became deities of the race and if you want to be an evil harengon you could go the more playful mischievous route evil doesn't always mean scary at least not on the surface
