A5 is Kobe not Waygu per say, american and australian, canadian, etc....often call waygu kobe as a misnomer....there is a distinct difference in that it is kobe cows interbred with american angus cows, still waygu but not kobe. A5 is kobe and not so easy to come by, and it's very pricy. Plus there is also a distinct difference to the fat, as real kobe rendered is not a saturated or unhealthy fat, whereas waygu often is. However a waygu steak if you like a big rib steak is much better than a kobe, the Japanese know how to do it with frying in small chunks, but a big bbq steak, it would be way too rich
I like that Guga includes the side dishes because he knows that only 1/10 of us would actually cook the meat. We get to actually cook something and learn from the video for ourselves.
