Hi Stuart Burke, the corona proxy files ".cgeo" only stores the geometry, uvs, and material ids. Because of this when the "load from file..." option is used the proxy is loaded without materials. What you can do in this case is to merge the proxy from a max file where the correct material is applied instead of using the "load from file..." option.
