I found in multipass you can set a material matte for postpro. Is it possible to save this cryptomatte exclusivly? I can save this in a multipassimage to extract it in AE, but i cant use the cryptomatte in AE as i'm used to the aov output of redshift. Any ideas for a workaround?

You can save it in 3ds max it doesn't matter which render engine you use. It's located in render settings next to 'render' button on top. It's called 'Preset'.

I am facing problems in rendering when I have these kind of scenes, 3Ds max doesn't even start rendering and as a result I can only render in small resolution or without quality settings. Thanks!
Is the main issue of Corona , it's a memory hog. Vray has better ram management. You can have bucket render limits and use of proxy, I work with 32gbs of ram in vray and able to render kilometers of vegetation, terrain and billions of triangles with no issue
Hello, my renderings appear different on my computer or in Photoshop compared to what I see in the 3D Max viewport during rendering. The saved rendering appears to have a colder shade. I am using 3D Max 2023 and Corona version 8. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Thank you.
i'm learning corona and usiing 6.2 for c4d, but it crashed a lot of times when i start rendering, or in interactive rendering. i'm new to it so there are only a few objects so i guess nothing wrong with my pc. ps:it's the c4d crash with a title of plugin error without telling me what's wrong
Are you a fan of lots of settings that give you more control like in V-Ray for instance, or do you prefer the simplicity that is offered by Corona?

I love the simplicity of corona. Less time in technical, more time in perfecting the renders.

Can anybody confirm what colour management corona is capable of. Seem to have lut options but no aces colour. (version 6)
