So far from BTS, Singularity seems to be the favorite, aside from Alejandro.
We listened to Bambi by Baekhyn (not sure how its spelled) on our live, and it was AMAZING! Singlehandedly my favorite Kpop track I've reacted to. Saved it on 2022 Playlist and all (The ULTIMATE Cool.Hands stamp of approval).
We've listened to a bunch of Jay Park songs during our lives that we dug. Dean too.

@@WM20s Since you liked Bambi so much, maybe listen to some of Baekhyun's other songs. From the Bambi EP, 'All I Got' and 'Cry for Love' are also amazing. They have lyric videos, but not music videos. 'UN Village' is from his 2019 EP and has a music video. EXO (Baekhyun's group) is also known for their R&B songs. You could try 'What is Love'.

@@WM20s I suggest to just react to more BTS MVs and introductions and then the lyric videos first. The lyrics and message are a major reason why many love these songs, these songs go deep. It is just not fun when you do not understand and just comment on them superficially. The lyrics and message are very important.

This is a great song but the audio on this performance was not upto the mark for some reason. The best one is the Wembley one. It's hard not to get goosebumps on that video.
I didn't even know what the song was about when I watched that but I felt everything. Only after reading the comments I understood the gravity of their emotions.

A little suggestion: watch a lyrical video first to read the words and then watch a live performance. BTS live performances are always amazing, so it may not be easy to read lyrics and get the full live performance experience

It is a breakup song in order to understand the pain that is being expressed you need to know the history of BTS. These men have been thru everything together spent countless hours and made monumental sacrifices and at this point in their career they were questioning if it was every going to pay off. Can you imagine 7 young men sharing i bedroom going to high school and college far way from your family literally spending 8-10 hours practicing singing rapping and dancing, and not having enough food to eat at times. Can you imaging doing this for years and it seeming like you aren’t getting anywhere nearer your dreams. If you watch This is BTS by xCeleste or Rise of Bangtan you will understand. It’s not just a break up song it’s a song about a family falling apart. BTS is a brotherhood bound together by their blood sweat and tears.

The one wearing the Supreme band is Suga, the guy with grey-silver hair is RM & the dark haired one is J-Hope. Honestly J-hope bodied that song., especially the last part. You can literally hear the emotion in his voice.

Personally I prefer their Outro Tear Wembley performance, their delivery hits you emotionally. You need to know BTS as artiste, their brotherhood, the hardship they endured coming from a humble beginning to who they are now to appreciate most of their songs... hence to Army (the fandom) Outro Tear is not just another 'break up' song. BTS writes, composed and produce almost all of the songs in their discography. They are a group of a very multi talented & inspiring men that exudes positivity not only through their songs but them as individuals.
May I suggest you react to introduction videos on BTS ie 'Introduction to BTS' by XCeleste, 2021 updated version or 'Nobodies to Legend' for a better insight of who they are...and to ease your reaction for their Korean songs, you could go over the lyrics at the end of the video. There are also few sites that translates and explains BTS songs. Army do not mind long reaction anyway, we want you to enjoy BTS!

My top recommendation for you based on your comments is "Blue & Grey" because it has a nice melody and a slower rap.
J-hope's solo songs are usually melodic rap and some of his songs are chill and slow. Check out "Airplane". RM also has a slower song called "Seoul" and I love Suga's "First Love". But before all that, Suga's "Daechwita" is a must.
For songs with a nice melody, maybe check out their Tiny Desk Concert, a video with three songs. The vocalists' songs, whether together or as solos, usually have nice melodies too. Truth Untold, House of Cards, Zero o'Clock. Some solo songs: Christmas Tree, Winter Bear, Promise, Stay with Me, Awake, Stay Alive, Scenery, and many more.

Do you prefer slower song with a good hook/beat? They have a lot of that too. They do pretty much everything, so there'll definitely be something more to your vibe. If you want to see yet another different vibe to BTS I really love Jimin's "Lie" (a cool mix of genres) or maybe the vocal line's "House of Cards" (vocal line is Jin, Jimin, V and Jungkook).

I hope on your own, you check out the lyrics video to really see the full meaning. Before knowing yrs later, the motivation for the song, this song helped me work through a very long time relationship ending. There is Tear like to tear something apart, and Tear like crying, but JHope lyrics is what I related to most because Fear was what I felt first and last when we were done.

I’m glad you liked it !! The musicality and the performance of this song is amazing but the lyrics just make it. They really portray just how much the group and music in general means to each of them. They love each other as family and have said many times that they want to continue making music together for as long as they can and even after that they want to stay and grow old together. They have the kind of relationship that a lot of people dream of, myself included.
As I’ve seen a few people comment, maybe it would be better to watch a colour coded lyric video first so you can get a general understanding and then watch a music video or live performance. Or even if it’s just a music video, you could watch it once without the lyrics then go back and watch it again with closed captions on

Tks for your reaction, what i read from RM is that this is a very emotional song for all them, was writen by Suga, sharing feelings and regrets thinking on what would be to disband after what they got through untill then as a group. Suga even shared that the first time he sang for the members, because it was made for them, they all cried together. The way they performed in Wembley was so emotional, cause , even you can´t get the lyrics in first place, they can transmit all the pain they felt while performing. After that , when you get the lyrics, you can understand why. Its one of the most authentic and moving performances i watched.
This was written when BTS were going through some dreadful time's they were so physically and mentally tired, they were also getting hate. The talked together as a group the pressure was just too much and they talked about disbanding. The Rapper's wrote this each about how the though of Disbanding was effecting them how they felt. When Suga played it for the whole group they all cried hard before deciding they were not going to disband that they couldn't do that to themselves and each other. We didn't find out about it until later, we found out when they Told us while collecting yet another award and an award show were they all broke down crying again.
I love this song, especially the lyrics (its honestly hat make this song top tier). The song was written around the time BTS was contemplating disbandment, so the lyrics are heartbreakingly honest. Suga said he played the song for the boys once it was almost done and they had all cried over it together.

do check out the outro tear live from wembley stadium in which they were in black dior outfits. the emotions are captured well in that live also the mixing was well done, and you can experience the pain in the rap and lyrics and also their cadence hits different there.

This song really expressed the pain and struggle when breaking up with someone, well not just in romantic relationships, but with friends or family as a whole, just ending your connection with someone that is dear to you hurts, and the song really portrayed that well. I cried when I read the lyrics and listened to the song again.

I don't understand why they speak so much about not being able to read the lyrics while watching the performance, that makes sense, but it's easy to simply read the lyrics after watching the video.

Tbh, I really love the fact that you guys keep wanting to react to BTS and not just flat out say ‘no’ and refuse to watch them just because, yknow what I mean? So, I believe ARMYs really appreciate that. I do have a suggestion tho, if you guys really have issues with watching their live performance and reading the subtitles, please don’t let this be a ‘minus point’ for you to disliked the video. I think what would be better instead is to watch the live performance first so that you guys might feel the emotions and the hype first, and then after that watch it again with the subtitles/meaning. If u liked this one, you're gonna love “black swan”. is one of the best songs out there in the music industry not just in k-pop but in general, not even exaggerating. it's about being afraid of losing love for music, the lyrics are very deep and personal for BTS.

If you're able to please check out lyrics video before live performances or we don't mind if you watch the video twice, first for performance and then to read lyrics until you get to know their voices. We sometimes watch video multiple times to get full meaning that's why BTS gets a lot of views, not just to support them.

Many people would not recommend Armypedia “Live”. Very underrated performance or reworking of 3 of their earliest songs. Hip Hop & R n B vibes, almost unplugged. Not many people react to this performance but I think it’s one of their best.

@@3k2jpm18 I got into KPOP n then bts. Around 2018. Because of my teenage kids. I’m a 50 old dude, and some of bts music harks back to the 80s, 90s, 00s. And their music videos are events. Like what music videos from the west used to be. But this armypedia performance hits a different kind of vibe.

y’all have to react to bts - festa room!! it’s the most perfect introduction to bts’ discography. they basically perform a mashup w a song from each year from 2013 to 2021, but they do it live and it’s high quality w lyrics (closed captions). i genuinely think y’all will like it
I've been watching your reactions to bts and I don't know if you guys are just generally understated in your reactions or if you really don't like bts all that much - which is fine, everyone's musical tastes are different. I tried watching some other videos to get a feel for what you guys like but the only group that I saw that you guys seemed to like was blackpink and yes their music is very different than bts. BTS has a diverse catalog and their music is beyond kpop but I really don't think bts is for you. There are lots of other kpop groups for you to check out, including blackpink or other female kpop groups as well that may be more to your liking. Good luck. I would recommend something but I don't have a good feel yet as to what you might like.
Singularity has been the one we've enjoyed the most thus far.

This song means a lot to the members of BTS, as this song saved them from possible redress. In 2018 they were going through a difficult time, they were very tired both physically and emotionally, this song was written by Suga for the members, and here it says everything they felt in that year.

I think it's also meant to be interpreted as a breakup song too. The Tear album is a part of the Love Yourself trilogy and that album is about the heartache of love. Suga did say he wrong the lyrics like they were going to disband so threre's a lot of interpretations to it.

This song was when BTS was at the brink of disbanding. It's not a relationship break up song. Its their emotions at the time where they though they were gonna quit.

oh gosh I honestly I really was trying to focus on the lyrics and trying to watch your reactions.. but it is very important.. I hate to suggest this but it may be good for you guys to watch a lyric video because it at least will narrow it down to music and lyrics, and maybe appreciate it more.
also you mentioned it seems to be a break up song (and trust that ARMYs at first thought that too) but this song is for the members and SUGA (the one with Supreme headband) who wrote the song, let the members listened to this and they cried together, bec it was created during the time when they did think of disbanding. So when we learned about it years later it totally changed how ARMYs view the song.

And adding on the "breakup" thing, BTS has done some songs about romantic relationships in the past, but as of 2015, 2016, you won't see that kind of subject in their discrography anymore. When they talk about love it's usually about love between them, friendship, family, anyway, the kind of love they have, and for the fans, and also about self-love.
I recommend you watch the music video for Fake love, it's the perfect song for you to understand a little bit what I mean, because in the members' own words, it's a song that can be interpreted as, mainly, about your own love for yourself , as well as the feeling of love more generally, in different ways, between two or more people, which makes the meaning of music at our discretion.

This song was actually written about how they almost disbanded so it's not a romantic breakup song, but it's very personal to them. I think if you like slower rap and more flow-based you guys would enjoy J-Hope's solo stuff from his Hope World album.

I think its honestly super hard to take in all the aspects of their live stuff if it's your first watch. For you guys, I think lyric videos may do better so you can focus on lyrics and sound, vs lyrics sound AND visuals. It's not easy even for some army to take it all in on the first watch
But I personally don't like videos where people react to lyric videos, unless there really is no other option.
@@djlivvy46 what makes it easier for them to take it in is more important than our individual preference, but im with you. And not all songs need that but some are hard to take in with the visuals
@@valm5892 - yes their preference is important, but at the same time they are making videos for other people to view them.
If someone were to consistently react to lyric videos only, I would probably not watch most of them because I find it hard to focus if there is nothing visual on the screen.
I think it would be better for them to read the lyrics themselves as there are plenty of sites where they can do this, and then react to the MV or live performance.

This song was written for the members when they were considering disbanding as a group in 2018 (btw, it's my favorite song in the entire BTS discography). SUGA composed the melody and the rap line wrote the lyrics even though SUGA had a large part of the song written. Suga said: “The lyrics for ‘Tear’ were written for the members. When I was writing the melody, at the time, we were deeply contemplating whether we should quit or not. When I played the song for the members we all cried together.” Rm said tear as in crying . Suga said tear as in being torn. And Jhope said fear the fear of losing and he sum up crying and being torn in just one line. THIS SONG IS HEARTBREAKING! In an interview RM was asked which song he likes the most in the BTS discography and he said this song, he also said that he thought that all the members would say the same answer because of the meaning of the song.
