Tae/V’s range is so wide! He is known as the baritone and known for his deep, velvety, warm voice but his high notes and falsettos are also equally good. His voice can just make you feel emotions. It's no doubt that we're inclined to love a song that better suits our tastes. I completely agree with what you're saying, and I love that BTS as a group and soloists offer a wide variety of music that cater to everyone. There is literally a song for any type of genre. Personally, V has always been my favorite member, his songs are exactly the sound that I love and his smooth and rich voice just resonates so well. V is my favorite vocalist and member in bts i just love his deep voice and how sometimes he can go high he has more solo songs sadly he just has stigma and singularity with the r&b vibe the others are more in the lubally side but they’re still so good, when it comes to the group i think you check out more of their b sides like house of cards, hold me tight, pluto, just one day, louder than bombs, spring day etc because they’re more mellow heavily vocal songs you might enjoy more

it's perfectly alright if you just wanna vibe with a song and not mind the lyrics. Majority of BTS's songs have deep meanings and messages so armys mostly want reactors to read the english lyrics. It's totally fine and understandable, especially with Singularity cause it's part of the Bangtan Universe (BU) storyline which can be too complicated to unpack for people who just wanna enjoy music and not to dive too deep into the message and story. But in case you're curious, V's character in the BU storyline had an alcoholic and abusive father. He once caught him beating his sister up so he stabbed him out of rage. That explains the lines "I'm sorry my sister" "I couldn't protect you" "Are you calling me a sinner?" etc
Taehyung has a very specific style and sound he loves and uses, he is definetly my favorite out of them, based on his style and voice. You shouldve done the live performance with this one. Its SO Great.👌🙏

On lyrics. Many people ask you to read them because BTS is known for their amazing lyrics and their positive message. It's through these lyrics that they're able to touch so many lives, including bringing back some people from the brink of suicide, helping others to love themselves, to deal with depression, to cope with loss, to survive toxic relationships, to get through the grind of everyday lives. Their songs wouldn't have this kind of impact without the lyrics. Of course, not all of their songs are like this. Take "Singularity" for example. If you read the lyrics, it's about losing oneself in a relationship. It probably wouldn't add much to your enjoyment of the song even if you knew it, unless you like poetic quality of the metaphors used. But for songs like, for example, "Outtro: Tear", the lyrics can make a huge difference. If you read the lyrics, on the surface level, it's a heartbreaking exploration of a break-up, discussing the sadness, anger, and fear involved. And if you know that it was written when BTS was considering disbanding, it takes on an even more devastating effect. I don't usually listen to rap, but I've watched the Wembley performance multiple times, because I know the lyrics and the context, and so I can appreciate their passionate performance and I'm moved by it every time. But without the lyrics, it's just another rap song; either it fits into your taste in music, or it doesn't. I can cite many other songs where the lyrics play an important role (like, how can you appreciate a diss track if you don't know how they actually diss their haters?). I shared the above with you because I want to show you a glimpse of why ARMY is so attached to BTS's lyrics. But, ultimately I believe anyone should enjoy music however they want to. Not everyone likes to deep-dive into lyrics, or need to know the background of every song. So please continue your reactions to BTS in the way that's most comfortable for you. Maybe you could react to BTS RoomLive? They sing and rap in that one, its like a medley of their songs through out the years theyve made music, like verse+chorus from 5-6 different songs. I think you guys would really be more into k-r&b. Personally one of my favorites in the entire k industry is DPR LIVE. I suggest checking out his recent Ep named IITE COOL. It’s the perfect summer time music and he uses a lot more English in his lyrics so I think it’s easier for you guys to follow along. If you guys do check out the EP I beg you to check out the music videos (doesn’t have to be a reaction it can just be on your own). The visuals are done by DPR IAN and it’s some of the best video productions I’ve seen.
Some of their great R&B vibe tracks are Home, Paradise and Love Maze. No videos for these but they performed Home on Jimmy Fallon. You may also enjoy their track '134340'. Can you believe they wrote about the planet Pluto as a metaphor for losing love? Sounds weird but it is amazing.💜

The really good thing about BTS's music is that it can be enjoyed in layers. ARMY tends to push for people to do deep dives into BTS because we know that BTS hit hard at every layer, and the more you discover about the group the more you will understand just how meaningful their music really is. But with that being said everyone has their own tastes and not everybody needs to understand what a song is about to vibe with it, or not vibe. Music is completely objective to the listener and we all have to respect each other's preferred listening style. If you like to listen to other K-Artists I recommend DVWN who is a solo artist, and Mamamoo which is a "girl" group with impressive vocals.
Taehyung has that vibe you guys seem to like. His voice isn't like the typical kpop and I think that is why Stigma and then Singularity resonate with you guys. It's no doubt that we're inclined to love a song that better suits our tastes. I completely agree with what you're saying, and I love that BTS as a group and soloists offer a wide variety of music that cater to everyone. There is literally a song for any type of genre. Personally, V has always been my favorite member, his songs are exactly the sound that I love and his smooth and rich voice just resonates so well. V is my favorite vocalist and member in bts i just love his deep voice and how sometimes he can go high he has more solo songs sadly he just has stigma and singularity with the r&b vibe the others are more in the lubally side but they’re still so good, when it comes to the group i think you check out more of their b sides like house of cards, hold me tight, pluto, just one day, louder than bombs, spring day etc because they’re more mellow heavily vocal songs you might enjoy more

it's perfectly alright if you just wanna vibe with a song and not mind the lyrics. Majority of BTS's songs have deep meanings and messages so armys mostly want reactors to read the english lyrics. It's totally fine and understandable, especially with Singularity cause it's part of the Bangtan Universe (BU) storyline which can be too complicated to unpack for people who just wanna enjoy music and not to dive too deep into the message and story.
But in case you're curious, V's character in the BU storyline had an alcoholic and abusive father. He once caught him beating his sister up so he stabbed him out of rage. That explains the lines "I'm sorry my sister" "I couldn't protect you" "Are you calling me a sinner?" etc

V is not only an excellent singer, he is also a good musician and lyricist, so he was not only the performer of this song but also participated in the writing and composition.

On lyrics. Many people ask you to read them because BTS is known for their amazing lyrics and their positive message. It's through these lyrics that they're able to touch so many lives, including bringing back some people from the brink of suicide, helping others to love themselves, to deal with depression, to cope with loss, to survive toxic relationships, to get through the grind of everyday lives. Their songs wouldn't have this kind of impact without the lyrics.
Of course, not all of their songs are like this. Take "Singularity" for example. If you read the lyrics, it's about losing oneself in a relationship. It probably wouldn't add much to your enjoyment of the song even if you knew it, unless you like poetic quality of the metaphors used.
But for songs like, for example, "Outtro: Tear", the lyrics can make a huge difference. If you read the lyrics, on the surface level, it's a heartbreaking exploration of a break-up, discussing the sadness, anger, and fear involved. And if you know that it was written when BTS was considering disbanding, it takes on an even more devastating effect. I don't usually listen to rap, but I've watched the Wembley performance multiple times, because I know the lyrics and the context, and so I can appreciate their passionate performance and I'm moved by it every time. But without the lyrics, it's just another rap song; either it fits into your taste in music, or it doesn't.
I can cite many other songs where the lyrics play an important role (like, how can you appreciate a diss track if you don't know how they actually diss their haters?). But I'll give you one last example, the queen, "Spring Day". It was released in 2017 and it hasn't left the Korean music charts to this day. Without the lyrics, it's a pleasant song. It sounds sad, yet hopeful. With the lyrics, it's about missing someone that you've lost, and it has helped many people to cope with grief. And if you know about the Sewol Ferry Tragedy that this song is associated with, it's even more heart-wrenching.
I shared the above with you because I want to show you a glimpse of why ARMY is so attached to BTS's lyrics. But, ultimately I believe anyone should enjoy music however they want to. Not everyone likes to deep-dive into lyrics, or need to know the background of every song. So please continue your reactions to BTS in the way that's most comfortable for you. Personally, I also like R&B, so I'll be following your BTS journey.

Maybe you could react to BTS RoomLive? They sing and rap in that one, its like a medley of their songs through out the years theyve made music, like verse+chorus from 5-6 different songs. Its shows the different style/vibe of songs they have and since its them just hanging out in a room and performing, its a great quality to watch and listen. Consider that please.🙏

I think you guys would really be more into k-r&b. Personally one of my favorites in the entire k industry is DPR LIVE. I suggest checking out his recent Ep named IITE COOL. It’s the perfect summer time music and he uses a lot more English in his lyrics so I think it’s easier for you guys to follow along. If you guys do check out the EP I beg you to check out the music videos (doesn’t have to be a reaction it can just be on your own). The visuals are done by DPR IAN and it’s some of the best video productions I’ve seen.
Some of their great R&B vibe tracks are Home, Paradise and Love Maze. No videos for these but they performed Home on Jimmy Fallon.
You may also enjoy their track '134340'. Can you believe they wrote about the planet Pluto as a metaphor for losing love? Sounds weird but it is amazing.💜

The really good thing about BTS's music is that it can be enjoyed in layers. ARMY tends to push for people to do deep dives into BTS because we know that BTS hit hard at every layer, and the more you discover about the group the more you will understand just how meaningful their music really is.
But with that being said everyone has their own tastes and not everybody needs to understand what a song is about to vibe with it, or not vibe. Music is completely objective to the listener and we all have to respect each other's preferred listening style.
If you like to listen to other K-Artists I recommend DVWN who is a solo artist, and Mamamoo which is a "girl" group with impressive vocals.
