BTS often does solo songs and songs with less members on albums together, V is the only baritone lead singer so he has the best suited voice for this soulful song :)

When we talk about Singularity, ARMY always ignore its main composer/producer who truly made this neo-soul song happened. RM wrote the lyrics but Charlie J Perry composed, arranged and mainly produced it. Plz give the right credit to the right man and show respect to him as well. We can't always discredit ppl only because they are not members of BTS.
@@ABCDV6 i don't think people are discrediting the producers by not mentioning them and its weird that you think that way. armys mention members writing and producing songs, especially to newbies, because they're less likely to take the boys seriously. i am in agreement that charlie j perry's beautiful production absolutely made this song so great but the lyrics and the production mixed beautifully and both absolutely deserve credit.

The deaper you get into them individually music wise the more u are able to appreciate their music as a whole ,they some really versatile artists like no joke. Some songs with the whole group cause this is just one of the members that kinda have this vibe is Like,Rain,house of cards,etc.

It was just one member haha his name is V and he loves these soulful almost sultry songs, he listens to a ton of jazz and his range is insane. BTS does a lot of solo songs and subunits where they'll have just a couple of the members or all vocalists/ all rappers etc. One of my favourite things about BTS is how much creative control they have over their music, and it's why there's so much diversity in their music because all of the members have the opportunity to bring something to the table. V is definitely my favourite vocalist of the group but trust me once you get a little deeper into their music catalogue you'll be like how is this the same group doing all of these genres.
This is V’s (kim Taehyung) solo, his style of music is like this so different and beautiful.
V possesses a baritone singing voice that has received a generally positive critical reception, with particular praise for his vocal range and "husky" tone.He gained wider vocal recognition for his performance of his solo song "singularity" and "Stigma", and was praised for his falsettos that showed off his vocal range and unique musicality.

There are also solo songs the members will put out on their own which they tend to release on Sound Cloud or RUclips for free. All three rappers have released 1 or 2 solo mixtapes for free on Sound Cloud. Some members have also done original soundtrack songs for television shows or movies as well as features on other artists songs... though in features, they are usually credited as X from BTS or just BTS, even if it's not all the members. A few members have even written and/or produced music for other artists.

There is a tradition in bts everytime they will released a full album they will introduced it through a comeback trailer done by a certain member. That time it was v's (Kim taehyung) turn.
Fun fact : Most of their comeback trailer songs were composed/written by them. Bts is really passionate with their crafts from intro to outro.

Ah my bias of BTS😫🔥 Taehyung (or V) has an incredible voice, perfect for that rich, neo soul/jazz music which he listens to often. He is inspired by older artists like Sarah Vaughan, Louis Armstrong, Eric Benet and so on. Highly recommend “Stigma”, it’s his other solo from their album Wings.

SINGULARITY is the intro/opening song for BTS' 2018 Album "Love Yourself : Tear" ["Love Yourself" is a Trilogy Album, it has three parts all connected to eachother saying an over arching story]. BTS has both group songs and Solo songs in their group albums. So this was Solo song by the Member V and this man is just incredible. Another good choice would be Festa Room Live 2021. They perform snippets of their B-Side tracks timetraveling through their discography from 2013 until now. It's only about 10 minutes long but will give you a good impression on their versatility.

They are so supportive of each other & so dynamically diverse that they not only have group tracks but solos, collabs, sub-units, duos, & side projects while still maintaining what is the whole of BTS. They release stuff including covers on SoundCloud for free as gifts to ARMY. They are rappers, vocalist, writers, producers, actors, dancers, cinematographers, photographers, artists, visualists, & that just their artistic colors. There are often several versions of the Official" music video.
The "Ioniq: I'm On It" is a promotional song for Hyundai. But you barely notice the car because the mv & song are so good; similar style as "Film Out"
"Come Back Home" was released on July 4, 2017 as remake of Seo Taiji’s song "Come Back Home" for Seo Taiji 25th Anniversary Remake Project.
“With Seoul” is a BTS song and film highlighting Seoul as a vacation spot. The original also shows them recording it. They have also done 3 other versions, including a “short” on 2020-09-11; a beautiful drone visual of Seoul (The Four Seasons of Seoul” on 2019-12-30, & an amazing drone visual mv on 2021-01-09.
My personal favorite "other version" video is "DANGER (Mo-Blue-Mix) , featuring THANH". Thanh is an Australian-Vietnamese singer. This song has a R&B vibe with some great lyrics added by Thanh.
There are loads of their other songs including some of my favorites: “Dionysus”, “Ma City”, “Truth Untold”, ”Outro: Tear”, “House of Cards”, “Lost”, “Dimple”, “Butterfly”, etc. and their solo, rapline, vocal line, short films, comeback trailers, etc. not included.
So, usually BTS albums have intro, outro, and sometimes interlude. The intros are what set the tone of the album, not genre wise but theme.
Before the music video of the main song/title track of an album comes out, the intro of that album will be released as a "comeback trailer" MV. It can be a solo song or unit song of the members.
What you watched is the intro of the album 'Love yourself: Tear' which is part of the album series 'Love Yourself' [ Her -> Wonder (a short-film) -> Tear -> Answer (a repackage album) ]

don’t know if you guys are reading comments, but y’all really need to look into NCT if you like rap / hiphop. a lot of their popular songs are hiphop or r&b inspired. NCT in total have 23 members right now (they’ll be adding more in the future), but they split off into smaller subunits. The 7th Sense by NCT U is more of an r&b feel, Cherry Bomb and Lemonade by NCT 127 have heavy hiphop influence (there isn’t a full music video for Lemonade so you’d have to watch a performance or a lyric video for the full song), New Axis and OK! both also by NCT U are rap/hiphop/trap songs and they go HARD. would have to watch a lyric video for those too as there’s no performances or videos.
NCT are golden. a lot of their music is extremely unique and some of it definitely has an acquired taste, but their talent and the way they stand out amongst kpop groups is immeasurable. hope you guys give them a shot in the near future!
Most new reactors to BTS and specifically to Singularity has for moments forgot to even care about the lyrics because of the deepness of its musicality & its visual impact.
And it is so nice to see them finding out post the MV viewing the meaning behind the song and the history of how it was written & the collaborative mind in its creation. I hope you watch a couple of its live version and the mixed stage compilation of it, because no single live performance of it is the same.
