One of my favourite songs. Bts songs are never the "love" songs one imagines. The rack and hand act in the beginning screamed of narcissism to me. Then there were scenes of looking into or sitting by side of water. I guess it is showing that love yourself does not mean this. The mask is also a thing running through the songs.

I remember reading a lyric analysis about those being references to a narcissistic god who died in a lake after falling into it because he was too busy admiring his reflection in the lake (or something like that) it's so interesting to think about all the different ways you can interpret BTS' songs

A lot of times there are several concepts running together as in Blood sweat and tears and The Black swan. Like a tryptich. I think it is the same here. You hear his voice and will feel something. Look for his music like sweet night, he seems very romantic, sensitive and fully aware of the feeling "love". The choreography is sophisticated. It is is not too fast, it is just very on point in the slightest detail. I was mesmerized by the thoughtfulness in creating choreography for this peace.

I love this song so much, I play it to go to sleep. V once said he put a purple balloon in our dream, go find it. I still haven’t found a balloon, but it motivates me to close my eyes and get some sleep.
I feel like the choreo was "fast" on purpose given that the song seems to tell a story of someone's inner self being lost to their artist persona or public persona. But if you look closely they hit every beat in the dances so it's not disconnected from the rhythm of the song.
I absolutely love them all, But Taehyung/ V is my bias, because he has the most unique personality, l love his deep voice, and his soulful songs and voice are my eternal comfort.
