@Organic Cookie I was also there, the emotions were so overwhelming - I hit such a high, and then was so drained for days afterwards. It was a momentous experience - I’ve been to lots of other concerts but this was my first and only BTS one, and nothing compares 💜
Haters and antis used to say BTS lip syncs (back at that time), and people today who don’t know BTS continue to automatically hate them and assume/say so too. On a televised performance, Suga on purpose stopped rapping during his verse in Mic Drop and you can obviously only hear just music playing with no voice. He gave a smirk and knowing nod before it gets into the chorus. Yeah, bad ass. He may be an introvert but he’s bold and unfiltered in what he has to say in his music and performance. He has nothing to hide.

Honestly 9 out of 10 songs their music sounds better live than on the official tracks! These guys were born (and trained) for live performance! J-Hope is iconic in this particular performance IMO.

That songs is his vibes all over it.
For me, J-Hope’s part is almost always the best part of any song. His Hope World mixtape is brilliant. His live performance is on a different level. Also I found Suga larger than life in person. And when I saw them RM was so hyped up, he was crazy happy. The BTS show is unlike any other show, an event, a lifetime memory. Each member is different, but engaging. It feels like you’re involved not just watching.
But they don't lipsync. They just leave the part kf the lyrics unsung and doesn't move the mouth. Rappers, Vocalists hate lipsync especially Suga he intentionally stopped rapping in a live performance to prove he doesn't lipsync
@@JohnReavesLive oh don't get me started about it, many kpop groups does lipsync for example Aespa. Only few groups like BTS , Mamamoo, Skids, BBang, Svt, Exo ,Shinee are known for singing live with stable vocals while dancing.
I managed to see them live in LA and they sound soooooo good. They stylistically use a lot of effects on their vocals in the mixing and stuff so it does sound different on the track. Suga produces a lot with autotune, he must really like that style, but he does it in an amazing way that doesn't detract from the vocals just enhances the vibe he's going for. In "Shadow" he goes crazy with it haha it makes it borderline experimental. But they all sound amazing live you'll have to definitely check out both versions of all 300+ songs🤣 good luck!
See I think doing auto tune live is still better than lip syncing and he does fun things with the auto tuning and you can tell when he’s using it so in my opinion it just adds to his performance than trying to make him sound better

Yes, there are many artist who are not good on the real stage. However, BTS is not the case. TBH, they make songs even better when they performed. For example, IDOL is not kinda my cup of tea, but after watching their IDOL performance in MMA 2018, i had no choice but to fall in love with the song immediately. They are amazing performer. Let's check their Black Swan from Jimmy Fallon show. You will loooove it!

I'm a 63 year old grandma ARMY that loves these boys (JK bias and Hobi main wrecker, but I love them all) and found one of your reactions, so I'm going through some older ones. This song speaks so loudly to my truth - as so many of their "straight from their hearts and guts" songs do! I am been divorced for over 20 years and haven't dated for probably 10 years, and friends are always trying to hound me about it. That line that says "please stomp on the fragments of my heart" until there is only dust - something along those lines - omg - that is always my response to people telling me I should get "out there". I say, "There isn't a large enough fragment of my heart left to give to anyone so there's no point." I have just passed out some of the tiny pieces to the members of BTS! But ever dating again? They crush everything live! Sometimes they drop a line in something to show they don’t lip sync. Their Grammy performance from a Seoul rooftop of Dynamite comes to mind where V drops line and just winks instead. I know you’re interested in metal and harder stuff but for a gorgeous 10 minutes taster of live vocals try their Tiny Desk concert or the Festa 2021 which is a live medley and gives an idea of their variety. Also Suga collaborated with a new PSY song which landed a couple of days ago and will probably be the song of the Summer. Check out the MV.

That’s what all of us Army says, we love their lives more than their recordings. You add their rawness, their performances to the music and lyrics and it enhances the song by a thousand folds.
In almost every case BTS will sound better live. They usually have a live band on tour as well. The lyric videos are awesome for seeing the video etc. They all crushed it I can’t choose. For rapline I gotta put in Ugh which is another hard song that also strongly suggest you watch the Dkdktv explination video because it’s such an amazing song.

Wembley seats 90,000 in the stands alone, although the section behind the stage isn't used during concerts so it is probably 70,000 plus people. Also in the UK during summer it doesn't get fully dark until 11pm, although where I live it's light enough even then for farmers to continue working until midnight. I mention it because the fact it is still light can take away from the incredible lights and pyrotechnics used here. In terms of the actual performance they absolutely ate this up, especially because 'Outro' comes at the end and they have to be knackered.

They crush live performances. BTS LIVE is like capturing lightning in a bottle. Their concerts are amazing 2-1/2 hours of high energy, and you have to hear for yourself all of the adlibbing they do. I wanted to talk about this song. Dude! If you ever are in a breakup situation, go listen to this song (Outro Tear). Just go sit in your car. This song will break. Also, check out the LIVE version/English subs of House of cards. It's the vocal line version of letting a relationship go! You gotta watch it!

I loved this reaction, I've watched your other ones too! I fell for BTS through the rapline so your start resembles mine. TEAR was the last BTS rapline song I "discovered" and was a real slap, especially the live version. I was in for a wild ride after thet with their solo mixtapes. RM, Suga (as Agust D) and J-Hope each have incredible solo stuff (mixtapes, collabs, Suga is a well respected producers with a few songs for other artists). Within BTS, the rapline has some songs like the Cyphers which are awesome, especially considering the first 3 Cyphers were made really really early during their career (2013-2014). UGH! is also an incredible bop and with very interesting lyrics. But it's not just the rapline, they are 7 incredible performers and artists. BTS has strong hip-hop, R'nB and I'd say funk roots. From their first album to now they've done many genres very successfully. I think you would like Fire, Dope, ON, Black Swan, Boyz with Fun, Boys In Luv, Dionysus and well about 200 other songs? BTS are incredible live. I almost never like artists live (except rock) because it is rarely as good as the album. BTS is a different beast. The concerts are actually in my opinion better than the albums, and the albums and Mvs are already incredible. It's the live perfs that really made me ARMY. Now I've explored most of their discography, and, like many ARMY, I can't help myself from writing huge paragraphs when I come across a reaction I like. Hope you keep going and enjoy the ride ;-)

FYI, for future reference, BTS never lip sync during any of their performances. It’s why they’re better live. As you know from the Cyphers they pour themselves and leave everything on the stage. Imo this is a shining performance for J-hope. His raw emotion gave me chills and brought a tears to my eyes. I’m glad you loved it 💜
Watching their live performances are always better coz of the energy & emotions we're getting. Hope you react more into their live performances, there are videos with english subs already. Although, some of their live performances may not be that perfect, they're human too. They make mistakes, they get sick and tired, their voices may crack sometimes, but they don't lipsync. They usually perform with backtracks because at the same time they're dancing while singing/rapping or they move too much on stage and will be out of breath. They are really great performers. I can see you reacted to more of BTS "dark" side, aside from the mainstream, poppy and hiphop side, they also have a healing side/healing songs. I'm a BTS rapline enthusiast but their vocalists were as great as well. You just need to be open-minded. All BTS live performances were top tier. Their concerts were all crazy good. I finally made it to my very first BTS concert in Las Vegas in April. It was so amazing and worth every dollar that I spent on airfare, hotel and everything else.
@@JohnReavesLive Yes BTS had 4 sold out concerts at Allegiant Stadium on Apr 8. 9. 15 & 16 so like 2 weekends. Tickets for all 4 concerts were sold out in just a few hours at the Ticketmaster tickets selling site. I literally cried for a minute when I managed to get two tickets as getting BTS concert tickets are like hunger games unless you're willing to pay a ridiculous price from the resellers/scalpers.

I was fortunate to see this live at Wembley Stadium D1 in 2019. The energy in the stadium was electric and this being a very poignant song for BTS made it even more special. Their live performances are really top tier.
I hate ranking BTS members. The beauty of their work is the synergy they have in all of their various genre and in their various emotionally deliveries. I love the word play with tear (cry), then tear (rip) from Suga, and fear. So incredible. Amazing friendship song… don’t break up the band/brotherhood.

I like almost all their songs/raps better Live. You can see their passion more and most of the time they nail it. Only exception might be when one is sick or injured something and not at their best, but they Still give it their all. They all did great in this, but yes, J-Hope crushed it. Suga said that when he brought this song in front of the group, they all cried. They were going through some very rough times in early 2018 and thought of disbanding. Thankfully, they stayed together!! As far as I know, all their Live performances are now in stadiums. They've been selling out 4 shows in LA (Nov 2021) and Las Vegas (April 2022) which were stadiums holding 45k to 60k per night, Plus live streaming. It's crazy, but that's just how good they are!

I saw them in Los Angeles (SoFi Stadium) on December 2, 2022, and Las Vegas (Allegiant Stadium) on April 15 and 16, 2022, both 4 day sold out stadium concerts. BTS are professional performance artists. They all can sing, dance, and rap, and they do it all live. They thrive on live performances, and getting energy from the ARMY's in the audience. They may have backing tracks, but they do not lip sync. I totally recommend live performances, they are always better, because of the energy, and the charisma. FYI - This song was written by SUGA during a time when they were discussing disbandment in 2018. When he brought the song to the BTS members, they all cried. This song has special meaning to them and to ARMY's. They talk about it in their 2018 MAMA award acceptance speech for ARTIST of the YEAR. they were underground artists (suga and rm were underground rappers during their adolescence, while jhope was an underground dancer, he started to rap after joining BTS) so they're used to do their best on stage!

for yoongi’s mic, his mic is autotuned to sound to match with the original song. if you know travis scott, he always did this in his concert. bts definitely perform live

I'm a 63 year old grandma ARMY that loves these boys (JK bias and Hobi main wrecker, but I love them all) and found one of your reactions, so I'm going through some older ones. This song speaks so loudly to my truth - as so many of their "straight from their hearts and guts" songs do! I am been divorced for over 20 years and haven't dated for probably 10 years, and friends are always trying to hound me about it. That line that says "please stomp on the fragments of my heart" until there is only dust - something along those lines - omg - that is always my response to people telling me I should get "out there". I say, "There isn't a large enough fragment of my heart left to give to anyone so there's no point." I have just passed out some of the tiny pieces to the members of BTS! But ever dating again? NO thanks - better to be alone than to wish you were!

One if my favourite live performances. They are just awesome.
They crush everything live! Sometimes they drop a line in something to show they don’t lip sync. Their Grammy performance from a Seoul rooftop of Dynamite comes to mind where V drops line and just winks instead.
I know you’re interested in metal and harder stuff but for a gorgeous 10 minutes taster of live vocals try their Tiny Desk concert or the Festa 2021 which is a live medley and gives an idea of their variety.
Also Suga collaborated with a new PSY song which landed a couple of days ago and will probably be the song of the Summer. Check out the MV.

In almost every case BTS will sound better live. They usually have a live band on tour as well. The lyric videos are awesome for seeing the video etc. They all crushed it I can’t choose. For rapline I gotta put in Ugh which is another hard song that also strongly suggest you watch the Dkdktv explination video because it’s such an amazing song.

Wembley seats 90,000 in the stands alone, although the section behind the stage isn't used during concerts so it is probably 70,000 plus people. Also in the UK during summer it doesn't get fully dark until 11pm, although where I live it's light enough even then for farmers to continue working until midnight. I mention it because the fact it is still light can take away from the incredible lights and pyrotechnics used here. In terms of the actual performance they absolutely ate this up, especially because 'Outro' comes at the end and they have to be knackered.

They crush live performances. BTS LIVE is like capturing lightning in a bottle. Their concerts are amazing 2-1/2 hours of high energy, and you have to hear for yourself all of the adlibbing they do. I wanted to talk about this song. Dude! If you ever are in a breakup situation, go listen to this song (Outro Tear). Just go sit in your car. This song will break. Also, check out the LIVE version/English subs of House of cards. It's the vocal line version of letting a relationship go! You gotta watch it!

I loved this reaction, I've watched your other ones too! I fell for BTS through the rapline so your start resembles mine. TEAR was the last BTS rapline song I "discovered" and was a real slap, especially the live version. I was in for a wild ride after thet with their solo mixtapes. RM, Suga (as Agust D) and J-Hope each have incredible solo stuff (mixtapes, collabs, Suga is a well respected producers with a few songs for other artists). Within BTS, the rapline has some songs like the Cyphers which are awesome, especially considering the first 3 Cyphers were made really really early during their career (2013-2014). UGH! is also an incredible bop and with very interesting lyrics. But it's not just the rapline, they are 7 incredible performers and artists. BTS has strong hip-hop, R'nB and I'd say funk roots. From their first album to now they've done many genres very successfully. I think you would like Fire, Dope, ON, Black Swan, Boyz with Fun, Boys In Luv, Dionysus and well about 200 other songs? BTS are incredible live. I almost never like artists live (except rock) because it is rarely as good as the album. BTS is a different beast. The concerts are actually in my opinion better than the albums, and the albums and Mvs are already incredible. It's the live perfs that really made me ARMY. Now I've explored most of their discography, and, like many ARMY, I can't help myself from writing huge paragraphs when I come across a reaction I like. Hope you keep going and enjoy the ride ;-)
You know I never looked at it like that, I never noticed why I didn’t like other live shows besides rock or metal but it’s because they don’t really sing or really perform or put as much into it, but bts is different they go crazy and have amazing voices, I love it

FYI, for future reference, BTS never lip sync during any of their performances. It’s why they’re better live. As you know from the Cyphers they pour themselves and leave everything on the stage. Imo this is a shining performance for J-hope. His raw emotion gave me chills and brought a tears to my eyes. I’m glad you loved it 💜

Watching their live performances are always better coz of the energy & emotions we're getting. Hope you react more into their live performances, there are videos with english subs already. Although, some of their live performances may not be that perfect, they're human too. They make mistakes, they get sick and tired, their voices may crack sometimes, but they don't lipsync. They usually perform with backtracks because at the same time they're dancing while singing/rapping or they move too much on stage and will be out of breath. They are really great performers. I can see you reacted to more of BTS "dark" side, aside from the mainstream, poppy and hiphop side, they also have a healing side/healing songs. I'm a BTS rapline enthusiast but their vocalists were as great as well. You just need to be open-minded. I really thank you for reacting to their songs and I hope I will see more of BTS reactions in your channel, no pressure and stay true to yourself. I'd love to see genuine reactions. Subscribed!

All BTS live performances were top tier. Their concerts were all crazy good. I finally made it to my very first BTS concert in Las Vegas in April. It was so amazing and worth every dollar that I spent on airfare, hotel and everything else.

@@JohnReavesLive Yes BTS had 4 sold out concerts at Allegiant Stadium on Apr 8. 9. 15 & 16 so like 2 weekends. Tickets for all 4 concerts were sold out in just a few hours at the Ticketmaster tickets selling site. I literally cried for a minute when I managed to get two tickets as getting BTS concert tickets are like hunger games unless you're willing to pay a ridiculous price from the resellers/scalpers.

I was fortunate to see this live at Wembley Stadium D1 in 2019. The energy in the stadium was electric and this being a very poignant song for BTS made it even more special. Their live performances are really top tier.

I like almost all their songs/raps better Live. You can see their passion more and most of the time they nail it. Only exception might be when one is sick or injured something and not at their best, but they Still give it their all. They all did great in this, but yes, J-Hope crushed it. Suga said that when he brought this song in front of the group, they all cried. They were going through some very rough times in early 2018 and thought of disbanding. Thankfully, they stayed together!! As far as I know, all their Live performances are now in stadiums. They've been selling out 4 shows in LA (Nov 2021) and Las Vegas (April 2022) which were stadiums holding 45k to 60k per night, Plus live streaming. It's crazy, but that's just how good they are!

I saw them in Los Angeles (SoFi Stadium) on December 2, 2022, and Las Vegas (Allegiant Stadium) on April 15 and 16, 2022, both 4 day sold out stadium concerts. BTS are professional performance artists. They all can sing, dance, and rap, and they do it all live. They thrive on live performances, and getting energy from the ARMY's in the audience. They may have backing tracks, but they do not lip sync. I totally recommend live performances, they are always better, because of the energy, and the charisma.
FYI - This song was written by SUGA during a time when they were discussing disbandment in 2018. When he brought the song to the BTS members, they all cried. This song has special meaning to them and to ARMY's. They talk about it in their 2018 MAMA award acceptance speech for ARTIST of the YEAR.
