Incredible work on this one. I admit, I was a little doubtful but I am happy to eat my words to see you succeed at this challenge. I recently started throwing challenges at my room mate and friend who's beat the fromsoft games many times and was looking to get back to them. He helped me beat my first casual playthroughs by helping me have someone to talk to while I went through the hardest parts of the games. Glad to see you still going strong after Immolation.
I have an idea for your next run. The Tony Run (I hope I got the name right). You have to only use weapons a skeleton normally uses in this game (falchion, shortbow, bonewheel shield, etc), you have to be hollow and not have armor to be as close to a skeleton as possible, and you cannot level your health past that of a ds1 skeleton (196).
Skeletons can’t level their equipment either. You never see any of them with upgraded weapons, with sort of an exception in Vamos since he’s a smith and all
Only one problem, the lowest VIT you can start with, 8, has an HP of 531, so that's the lowest you can possibly go. If you somehow have VIT of 1, that's 400hp. Since curses don't stack after the first patch, you can only legitimately have 265hp without using the DCR, which skeletons don't use.
I don't play Dark Souls and just like watching your challenge run videos -- needless to say, I was *not* prepared for the size of the great bow and burst out in hysterical laughter the moment it appeared on screen. I've seen bows taller than I am in real life but never something that's double my height.
Good to see Lemon clearing out the weapon backlog in the last few videos. It’s nice to see you able to have fun without the suffering that certain runs have caused

Suggestion for a name for "weapons you've never tried." Gwyn or Cin(der). A series on if a weapon is actually viable enough to be used in the Lord of Sunlight's army or trash enough you want to throw it in the First Flame.
I love the concept of this video. Once someone beats the game with fist only we know its possible to do it with any weapon. But this is a nice change, cause its a very different approach to DS challenge runs. Run with a different constraint, not another take on the same constraint (not to say I don't love the other challenge runs)
I'm genuinely impressed with this one. I really did think this was going to be a fail. I do love the greatbow. I have fond memories of killing the false sun of anor londo then chilling in the rafters with it.
Gotta say. I'm perfectly fine with content creators getting sponsored from unconventional areas. Helps rid the monotony of the same old Audible/Skillshare/Squarespace/etc. Plus, you never know what a viewer is dealing with and some of these random sponsors could be exactly what some people need. And it's better than a Hanes or Coke commercial. Excellent video as always, learned some new stuff. And your patience and craziness is always a pleasant surprise. Keep on keeping on, good sir
quick side note on how to easily farm a ton of souls early game: pass by the hydra, take the ladder behind the waterfall (to avoid being hit by the hydra:when by the waterfall run towards the lake, have the hydra make a physical attack, run towards the latter as soon as the attack animation starts; you should make it up no problem), pass by the oppossums, aggro all the forest guardians, run towards the stairs at the closed entrance, go by the cliff edge under the stairs at the extremity, keep your shields up, and one by one every 1000-2000 soul player will fall over the cliff, passing by the stairs. you can then enter the guardian pact, kick the archer, ninja and samurai off the ledge. usually you get about 20,000 souls plus an easy farming area, if you buy the key for the forest guardian.
I'm sure this has been answered before, but re: the lizards nto spawning- Quitting and loading causes all lizards in the zone to reload. There's more spawn points in the hollow than there are lizards, their spawns are randomized each time. Thus, every time you load in, you're respawning *and shuffling* the STILL ALIVE lizards amongst their spawn points; this is why if you keep doing it over and over you'll eventually get them there. However, if you go check any other lizard spawn in the game, you'll see that the quit-load does in fact respawn them every time without fail.

BRO UR VIDEOS ARE CORRUPTING ME I SWEAR I AM WATCHING AT LEAST 1 PER DAY CUZ THEY ARE ON MY MAIN PAGE ALL THE TIMEEEE (im glad they are tho)
Thanks Lemon. I really appreciate the explanation of the ring effects etc. I watch lot of dark souls runs, but have never played it. My own lack of knowledge can be frustrating when people just say I grab this ring and that ring and this shield blah blah blah. I get it, almost all watching would know what's going on so the explanation would seem unnecessary. So again. Thanks for the info and thanks for the all the runs :D
10:43 I love the skeleton stepping back as if it knew the bit lol
The Morgan and Morgan ad made me think it was a joke at first then when I realized it wasn't I died even more 😂😂😂😂 love to see you getting big sponsorship man
you will never understand how happy i get when I see a backlogs video in my recommended
I just wanted to say you are my absolute favorite channel. You are so charming and funny and I love your voice. I don’t watch RUclips much unless it’s to watch like you or aggy or something, usually ds videos or music. But Thank you for the laughs and good times, I’ll always look forward to your videos thank you for posting 🫶 you’re the greatest🤭
Having built this character before on a whim, I’m excited to see someone take it through the whole game. Big number fun
Suggestion for a name for "weapons you've never tried."
Gwyn or Cin(der).
A series on if a weapon is actually viable enough to be used in the Lord of Sunlight's army or trash enough you want to throw it in the First Flame.
I’m so happy I’ve been rewatching your entire souls challenge videos and now u drop a new one?!? Thank you so much Adore your content✨
I thought I saw a new upload! That idea for seeing how many times you can beat the game with only one crystal weapon is actually a cool idea
Dude, I cannot express how much enjoyment I get from your videos. Every one of them has something in it that makes me laugh
i have been waiting for this for so long, ever since you mentioned greatbows in the crossbow run
I kept expecting the Morgan and Morgan ad to be a parody or a bit.... but it was real o.o wtf
A Morgan and Morgan sponsorship on a darksouls video is crazy to me
I love the concept of this video. Once someone beats the game with fist only we know its possible to do it with any weapon. But this is a nice change, cause its a very different approach to DS challenge runs. Run with a different constraint, not another take on the same constraint (not to say I don't love the other challenge runs)
This was honestly one of your best video concepts!
"If your one of my audience members that doesn't actually play DS and has no idea whats going on. Hi Dad 👋."
So wholesome.
I have no idea how the hell I can watch you play the same game over and over again but, somehow you get me every time.
4:56 It's a mess full of sticks, slippery platforms and "overexcited gravity?" That's the best new sentence I've heard in awhile.
Ah yes
„I got bigger and better things to do“
just where are you looking
quick side note on how to easily farm a ton of souls early game: pass by the hydra, take the ladder behind the waterfall (to avoid being hit by the hydra:when by the waterfall run towards the lake, have the hydra make a physical attack, run towards the latter as soon as the attack animation starts; you should make it up no problem), pass by the oppossums, aggro all the forest guardians, run towards the stairs at the closed entrance, go by the cliff edge under the stairs at the extremity, keep your shields up, and one by one every 1000-2000 soul player will fall over the cliff, passing by the stairs. you can then enter the guardian pact, kick the archer, ninja and samurai off the ledge. usually you get about 20,000 souls plus an easy farming area, if you buy the key for the forest guardian.
That guy The Backlogs: Shortcut Unlock! seem to have a really good stream schedule, more people should give him a watch for sure!
I'm sure this has been answered before, but re: the lizards nto spawning-
Quitting and loading causes all lizards in the zone to reload.
This is a really cool challenge! I do enjoy the other types too, but it's nice to see something that requires new setups and strategies!
you made my morning with your rendition of the secret tunnel song.
Video idea? I've never played any of the souls like games, but love your content. How about a run of the absolute easiest way through?
I've never seen anyone limit themselves as much or often as Lemon and complete the task. That last part being the more sticking point.
never thought i would see a dark souls challenge run sponsored by a law firm 😂
Most out of place video sponsor ive seen, never expected to see a DS/BB/ER content creator getting partnered with a legal firm... good shit man
Wvery time I see a Morgan and Morgan sponsor I think it's an elaborate bit for about 30 seconds and then realize lemon is 100% serious, good for him getting sponsors, it's just so weird seeing an injury law firm sponsor a gaming channel
I rocked the Greatbow in my first playthrough, and absolutely wrecked large portions of the game that my roommates told me were gonna get frustrating.
Id have loved to see another run with the dlc included. Id love to see if it could be1 done. Especially since you probably only 6 or 7. If you were clean id be surprised if it wasnt close. The other option would be to do it again with dlc included, but make it to where you have a set number and can only use one of the 2 buffs. That would something else lol
Loved this run. Found you with the BB bow only vid and im hooked. Your comedy is gold and you have such a brilliant style. Loved the way you spoke through the BB vid. The dark and emotional monologuing was very fitting for the game. Gonna be binging you for a few days lol
I greatly appreciate your ability to keep making runs of such an old game fresh and entertaining 👌
