A Hunter is never Alone. Bloodborne is what got me into soulsborne games. Ds1 and ds2 kicked my ass when they first released, but after playing and getting all achievements for it on ps4, I decided to play the rest and conquered them all too. Bloodborne is still my absolute favourite due to the theme, and forcing the no shield aggressive play style. :D
Just in case nobody's mentioned it yet, it's pronounced "Vick-uh" not "Vike-ar". It's a religious title. I think they mainly use it in the UK. Love your work, as always.

Y'know I just started a new Bloodborne arcane run and was literally wondering to myself if Lemon or Press had made a molotovs only in Bloodborne yet. This was yesterday. I get this video on my feed today. What is this sorcery!?
"Oh, cool, Lemon's molotov run is out. I wonder how short it's gonna be, given even YMFAH couldn't- Why is the video over twenty minutes long..." Seriously though love your vids as always Lemon.
"Molotov and Molotov accessories" Hank Hill approves :) Anyways, you may have sniffed to much fumes from the Molotov's and it drove you to mumble like a madman at the end. Honestly that was really convincing, good job.
Jesus, you really did it. I was certain this wouldn't work just because of the pouch limit. Also, I didn't even know Logarius was immune to throwables. That's... an interesting animation.
Lemon… I hate to break it to you, especially way after the fact… but if an enemy is immune to throwables… and those throwables have splash damage… throw them at the floor instead. Don’t aim for him, aim for his feet. Haha Same with rockets and grenade launchers, never aim for the enemy, aim for the ground just ahead of where they are. I know combat creates stress and I couldn’t have done it so I’m not trying to correct you. Just trying to help! Who knows, maybe I’m wrong and he kicks them back at your face making Lemon flambé… idk. I just know that whenever I have a fast moving enemy that dodges my firebombs I aim for the feet! It works 60% of the time. Every time!
I just finished a run like this. It was torch and molotovs, and sweet lord the very very end game was such a nightmare. This was such a commitment, congrats
I’ve never heard someone say “ground” to refer to grinding… lol interesting. Is that right or wrong? I kinda like how it sounds tbh.. “I ground for more xp” or “I ground up a few lvls” sounds somehow better than “grinded”… “grinded” just kinda sounds wrong. Hmm. I might start using that. Haha
Helpful tip for the Elden Ring firebomb only challenge. There is a dungeon in Altus Plateau called “Auriza Side Tomb” that has like at least 20 cracked pots + ritual pots. The dungeon is a little tricky but I believe in you. I hope this helps!!
Wow, I can imagine the one From Software employee that added THAT immunity to Legarious giggling to himself. Like, seriously, has that happened with ANY other boss in the entire dang souls genera? That's EVIL.
It's also not true *and* it was listed in a wiki. You just have to infer that his "bullets bounce off" buff also includes throwable items. You can remove this buff from him by landing a parry or a backstab for each time he's buffed himself with it. Considering the boss is practically built to be parried, that isn't normally a problem.
@@ForeverLaxx One of them even mentioned that Simon's Bowblade doesn't affect him, but they probably didn't write "projectiles"... Ah, wait, I was gonna say that it's likely due to people typically not trying to use consumables on uninterrupted phase 2 Logarius since that's pretty specific, but, they can't use the word projectile anyway so long as he isn't immune to arcane tools, huh. It'd be kinda messed up to give you a shiny new toy in the Executioner's Gloves found within the castle, only for the area boss to become immune to it... Although I guess that goes for the Reiterpallasch? You can still beat him up with that one though.
this challenge is what this cosmic horror game is all about, surprisingly interesting and brillantly written and executed. you might just have created something special.
This is the only souls game that I do not own but NEED to play. The game seems so INCREDIBLE compared to the others even from all great reviews that this game gets.
Your struggle against Chairman (yes I call him that) reminded me of my own struggle against him. I got bloodborne out of spite because a friend of mine and his brother said that the game was really really hard and that putting a single level into the wrong thing could ruin your build for a long time or some such nonsense. So for my first run of ANY fromsoft game, I went without leveling up to prove a point. I can't remember if I got past the dlc or not but I beat several boss easily while I had to find what worked in my limited pool of options for some others. Tonitrus was a savior for the Chairman fight. The main issue boiled down to having to some of the later bosses, or hope and pray for the damage rng to let me live on certain attacks. But in the end, I won, I proved my point. I beat the game in two or three sittings and showed that it wasn't as hard as they were saying. There was also this idea they somehow got that having higher insight made the game significantly harder... so I decided, fuck it, I'll get 99 insight during my run. Yes I'm a very stubborn person, and yes I would consider doing it all again because of knowing how to do it better than my first attempt through.
This is genuinely amazing, let alone getting past Gassy Boi with the big brain music move or defeating Rom with nothing but Molotovs was even possible but actually getting all the way through and completing the run? I must admit I was a non believer, guess I better go and repent for my lack of faith. Bravo
Definitely one of the best ending section lemon has ever done, this one genuinely feels like a seriously performed voice instead of just reading script
Oh my lord man these videos are just getting better! I love the little spiral of madness lol.. also I am gonna need a "YE OF LITTLE FAITH" T-shirt stat!
Ok, a couple things: First, the path to skipping the Hunter Chief Emblem is just the door on the right inside Cathedral Ward, then go up the elevator, to the tower, and down. Second, Logarius is only immune if you don't backstab and visceral him while he transitions to phase 2, he's actually also completely immune to bullets if you don't take the backstab. This would break the rules of the challenge though, so Logarius is either impossible or 100% luck with this rule set. Love the video though! I definitely wouldn't have had the patience for this myself, and I have a BL4 sitting outside the final boss of the DLC.

Watching these throwable-only runs makes me want to play the entirety of Fallout 4 with only molotov cocktails. That having been said, I enjoy watching these immensely.
Jeez that ending bit where he acts insane almost gave me chills
right? that was so good holy cow
"acts"
this video was brilliant, 100% worth the wait!
in my 6k hours of playtime I have never done a Molotov only run, but you are making me wanna boot the game up for one last challenge run
"You can scrub all you want, but it's not going to get the endless weeping out of the tiles.
Trust me. I would know."
Sounds like someone needs a hug.
Not gonna lie this channel is probably one of my favourite "game challenge channels" just the extra personality alone adds so much to the video
Heck yeah, just started Bloodborne and so far it is my favorite of the from software games. Was hoping to see a run on your channel.
@@MazeMaker4Life not to mention how you simultaneously feel both helpless, and an absolute badass.
And the trick weapons.
@@marctaco2624 100%. Trick weapons are so fun.
gl hf! :)
The gehrman fight narration is something i need to bring to my dming
Just in case nobody's mentioned it yet, it's pronounced "Vick-uh" not "Vike-ar". It's a religious title. I think they mainly use it in the UK. Love your work, as always.
Can confirm (my father was a vicar). Lemon actually pronounces it correctly in his later BB videos.
I have been enjoying these challenges for a while. They are truly may favorite. The writing the style the quality. The personality and the humanity (" no, this is the line I'm not doing it"). It's just a cut above. Glad life gave us a lemon.
Cool to see you play this amazing game!
Nice vid btw
bought a ps5 just to play bloodborne and fell in love with the game, Soooo glad your playing bloodborne and plz do more videos about it.
I could feel Lemon be consumed by insanity while fighting Gehrman
Yoooo he nearly went insane again!
In all seriousness, though, I love the way you write your script for extreme challenges.
And make sure to fully charge your battery, ya deserve a good break man
Nearly? Cousin zoot this is in no way nearly, lemon has gone insane
Y'know I just started a new Bloodborne arcane run and was literally wondering to myself if Lemon or Press had made a molotovs only in Bloodborne yet. This was yesterday. I get this video on my feed today. What is this sorcery!?
The Gehrman encounter really drove it home for me: Lemon is positively insane, and I loved every second of it :D
Jura just calmly walking around to shoot you off the edge was absolutely hilarious
Lemon you absolute legend. Great video, had some hearty chuckles. Well done!!
"Oh, cool, Lemon's molotov run is out. I wonder how short it's gonna be, given even YMFAH couldn't- Why is the video over twenty minutes long..."
Seriously though love your vids as always Lemon.
The end of this video gave me chills, that was some good freakin acting my guy 👌
"Molotov and Molotov accessories"
Hank Hill approves :)
Anyways, you may have sniffed to much fumes from the Molotov's and it drove you to mumble like a madman at the end. Honestly that was really convincing, good job.
My man is putting out content better than most of the huge channels out there.
Them Nazgûls with the Evil theme had me dying
Jesus, you really did it. I was certain this wouldn't work just because of the pouch limit.
Also, I didn't even know Logarius was immune to throwables. That's... an interesting animation.
Lemon… I hate to break it to you, especially way after the fact… but if an enemy is immune to throwables… and those throwables have splash damage… throw them at the floor instead. Don’t aim for him, aim for his feet. Haha
Same with rockets and grenade launchers, never aim for the enemy, aim for the ground just ahead of where they are.
Wait, do people not know Logarius is immune to throwables? That makes me feel powerful.
Well, I never threw anything at him, just wacked him with weapons.
This man has a DRASTICALLY small amount of subscribers for how amazing his content is. I really hope this channel explodes.
The beginning was great
Hearing him descend into paranoid insanity during the Gehrman fight felt a little too Lovecraft for this Lovecraft game playthrough.
I hope Lemon always remembers that his victories matter to us all, they're not just something he's doing for his own insanity...
IT'S FINALLY HERE!! WOOOOHOOOOOOO!
this challenge is what this cosmic horror game is all about, surprisingly interesting and brillantly written and executed. you might just have created something special.
This is the only souls game that I do not own but NEED to play. The game seems so INCREDIBLE compared to the others even from all great reviews that this game gets.
Mrs. Lemon's voice over at the start was top tier.
This video is lit literally
ITS HAPPENING EVERY BODY
ITS HAPPENING OH GOD
STAY CALM
EVERYONE JUST STAY CALM
The katana zero music in the backround 👌
I don't know why I love your Nazgul theme so much, but it's freaking great.
"We sell Molotovs and Molotov assesories" -Pank Hill
This is genuinely amazing, let alone getting past Gassy Boi with the big brain music move or defeating Rom with nothing but Molotovs was even possible but actually getting all the way through and completing the run? I must admit I was a non believer, guess I better go and repent for my lack of faith. Bravo
I'm surprised the info about Logarius being immune to throwables still isn't on a wiki. Your content is stellar and lots of fun to watch.
Ok, a couple things:
First, the path to skipping the Hunter Chief Emblem is just the door on the right inside Cathedral Ward, then go up the elevator, to the tower, and down.
WOOO YEAH BABY THAT’S WHAT I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR
Happy to help with the maths on this one. Looking forward to the next run you subject yourself to, disciple of flame. -3
THIS is the Best written video you have released yet Lemon! Great Job!
With the culmination of all the firebomb runs, he finally snaps into insanity on Gehrman. What a fitting game and boss to do so. Good luck in you Elden Ring one, if it's possible. (Don't think so.) Love your channel, a bit late, but well worth the binge watch.
I don't remember in which video you said something like 'the best way to deal with a brick wall is to hit your head against it until it breaks' but ever since it's my favourite 'quote' and I think it sums up this run quite nicely
