New vaginal mesh guidelines ignore 'thousands' of women

Campaigners have criticised new official guidelines on the use of vaginal mesh claiming they ignore the experiences of "thousands" of women.
The new guidance recognises that there is "public concern" about the procedures.
But it says there is "limited evidence" on any long-term harms which has disappointed women who have in some cases suffered debilitating side effects.
