It becomes more obvious with this talk that it was a mistake of the mother to put identical outfits/dresses on twins and treat the TWO as if they are ONE/inseparable from each other, as "the girls". Maybe other people around them made the same mistake. I see parents and other close ones of twins should respect the fact that twins are two separate persons and treat them accordingly. With all the twins I have met in my life, I can safely say however similar they may be physically, they are different in the personality. It seems that it was this person's reaction to that mistake to take the trans way. She may have simply tried to claim her individuality and difference from her twin sister from early childhood. If she were a boy, the difference would definitely be admitted, as she discovered at a young age. I hope she can see one day that she is sinning against her own soul. I believe it will be never too late. Also when we realize why what we did in the past is a sin and regret sincerely, that realization and regret brings us first hand knowledge and strength to avoid and protect ourselves from similar motivations in the future. Which I understand is why we are given the choice. So that whatever we are not sure of, we learn by trial and error.
There is a Surah in the Quran about how homosexuals were destroyed at the time of Lut AS. So you can't really be a Muslim and practice Islam if you have left the folds of Islam by being gay which is against nature and Islam. However a sin is a sin and one should be guided and taught. Not judged and told they cannot be included in the Muslim faith. Maybe it's a psychological disorder in most cases which people don't look into? But I think if you openly accept being gay and disagree that Islam doesn't allow this than I'm sorry that's just being in denial. At the end of the day what will you answer to Allah after he's already forbidden this for all of us? And he knows all and best.
Suhaila Khan If something we were born with and can't help is such a huge problem to some people for whatever reason we're bound to "look into it". We're not stupid nor are we crazy. We can spend years agonising over why we can't just be "normal" but have to be trans or gay and have to read about how we're going to be punished unless we live the rest of our lives in fear and denial of our nature. Fortunately some religious people such as this gentleman giving the talk have a different take on what faith means to them. I'm not religious by any standard but I'm a proud freak of nature so this is relevant to me as your version of Islam is terrifying.
Please name the surah?? I want to read!! +M a Muslim and transguy and asexual!! This question also came into my mind when I first came out to myself as trans that 'being trans is sin' so without thinking anymore I went and started praying,, I offered my 5 times prayer and kept fasting,, I wanted answers!! Then I came across knowing more about LGBT communities even i joined LGBT communities in facebook,,, finally I started doing istikhara,, and that's how I knew it isn't sin and Allah wants me to do this,..because I asked him to show path and he brought me here... M so thankful and grateful of being a Muslim.. M so proud.. My Allah loves his creatures..

If someone decides to follow this way of life, then it is upon them. They will have to answer on the day of judgement.
Just know that on that day when you are asked of the wrong you did, it won't be sufficient of an excuse for you to say something along the lines of
"It was my opinion that such and such was permissable" OR
"I didn't know" OR
"I thought"
ALL OF THESE WILL NOT BE VALID EXCUSES.
Let each of us prepare our answers for that day.

+Suhaila Khan
Allah has given you intellect. You obviously have no understanding of what Islam is.
