I loved those phones when I was a kid. If I saw someone with it I would scream in excitement because I loved how the keyboard slides. Someone let me use their keyboard for a little bit and I was in heaven.
I literally still use my Blackberry Torch that I bought 10 years ago, daily. I’ve had 6 iPhones, and every single one of them broke, while the Torch has been dropped 10 times as much.
I used a BB Torch until early 2016... It still is my favorite phone layout cause of the large sliding screen + physical keyboard. I wish they had a modern phones with layouts like that! At least my Unihertz pocket treats me well now with its physical qwerty keyboard (altho the BB Torch layout was still better).
I remember the BlackBerry torch and BlackBerry torch 2 they were AT&t exclusives in the USA back like 2011-2012 I sold phones in Costco back then and I sold quite a few of these. I enjoyed this video
we want blackberry back people blackberry is not an android smartphone stays in line like the classic has a new operating system with a new device like the classic itself i know so many people who would like to buy it blackberry has to make a comeback
My favourite phone of all time was the Sony Xperia mini Pro it had a slide out keyboard Android and a 5 megapixel camera and it took HD videos. Great video. I still got one of these but the previous owner broke the pins in the SIM card slot trying to use an adapter. Great video from UK🇬🇧
I wish they would make a BlackBerry style slide phone with modern phone specs (Android with Google Play store, 5G, modern processor, modern storage, modern camera). I would totally consider buying it. Since flip phones are making a comeback with phones like Motorola Razr and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, why not slide phones?
I had the Torch it was my first smart phone before I got my first iPhone the iPhone 5... I actually loved this phone but it was so slow and bulky... if it was refined and more powerful, this would sell well I think
I finally had a funeral for my 5 year old BlackBerry KeyOne. T-Mobile shut her down after sending me a ton of "URGENT ALERTS" and I had no choice. My new phone is great and I had to be a rebel and not get an I-Phone but a Samsung GALAXY Z fold phone. I miss my BB keypad and my friends notice how slow I am at texting now. But it is what it is.
I had a Blackberry, it couldn’t load anything in the crappy browser, so I smashed it with a hammer in rage and bought a £250 Samsung Galaxy S3 (decent deal at the time when flagships were usually £400+)
This is one of many fantastic blackberrys of it s time :-) , slider feature , it s entire appearance is just great :-) Just too bad for technology evolving , i.e. networks n such 4g and 5g . I miss this good old black era :-) , it did have it s great run :-)
There's the priv, but that runs android, lost the nipple and is already like 7 years old. The last BB phone made was a Key2, like 4 years old but that has a static keyboard.
That’s a torch 9800. Gunmetal metallic . Specific to att GSM/HSPA . 512mb ram, 4gb storage, 1300mAh battery, 3.2” TFT screen , released on 2010 You’re welcome, from the guy withy he largest private blackberry collection in the world lol
@@Odinthesleepy need to see a video of this "superfan" collection😂 Why dose blackberry still have lots of fans, compared to Motorola and their razr? Honestly what frustrates me, is that the razr seems to be the only thing "lenovie" show from moto, what about some of their products from the space age that was the 50s? Or something that they made from the first and second world wars or something from the 1930s? Like for instance the sidekick (sold under the original "hiptop" branding in my and this guy's home country, Australia) slide that moto made, it looks like their motrac radio used in "professional cars" of the 50s to the 70s - or meat wagons as some like to call these vehicles, with a certain 84 movie that hearse and car based ambulance purists hate with a passion. I bet it's the same with you blackberry folks who probably get tired of a certain y2k hotel heiress, with a certain k and her certain red head friend when they talk about blackberry's, although I doubt that blackberry enthusiasts would actually have purist attitudes like the hearse guys that despise a certain red and white 59 caddy ambulance
This would be an april fools video for any other RUclipsr but we know this is the content we love and expect from Sam
Sam, find something to do.
I love the form factor , the "big" screen and the sliding mechanism, that was some good design.
i love Blackberry
better then I - Phone and Samsung combined
nothing beats a physical keyboard
You should really consider doing tech reviews, this is hilarious
"They look so delicious"
I'm glad I'm not the only one to ever think that about these batteries
I loved those phones when I was a kid. If I saw someone with it I would scream in excitement because I loved how the keyboard slides. Someone let me use their keyboard for a little bit and I was in heaven.
same here :)
Hey Sam, again, an excellent review of modern tech. I didn't know Aldi also operates in Australia. Best wishes from Germany, and keep going.
I literally still use my Blackberry Torch that I bought 10 years ago, daily. I’ve had 6 iPhones, and every single one of them broke, while the Torch has been dropped 10 times as much.
My BB Torch went through a snow blower and still worked for another 3 years !
what network are you using the torch on?
I always laugh out loud from your absurd humour. Never change! :)
Good to see your still going sam, your videos were the peak entertainment as a young fella
Good to see actual content from people on the first of april
1:29 It’s those shorter than 1 second jokes that he bothers to edit into his videos that makes them so charming, haha

Those where the days used to download my songs of tubidy and everything still my favourite phone of all time
The DJ "The F@$§" reaction when you mentioned your phone not running Samsung software was gold.
As a Blackberry enthousiast myself, this makes me both happy and sad
I just love your work mate!
Best thing about the torch "multi color programmable notification LED!!" The GPS was feeble and all the map servers faded over time.
i just bought a blackberry priv.. full box mint condition.. took my sim out of my huawei mate 40 pro porsche design and now using my priv.. love it
I literally just got the same phone box and all a few days ago and been using it. I now have the evolve, passport, keyone, motion and now the priv.
sliding keyboards are the future!
0:25
Worked as a blackberry tech for AT&T that's a Blackberry Torch (either 9810 or 9860)
I like these tech reviews, can't wait for iphone x 100 years from now 😂
I don't remember this sliding BlackBerry. I know the Priv was a slider but didn't know they had another before. Truly iconic phone.
That belongs in a museum.
I Remember my father getting one when it was new, it was pretty cool
I got my old mother's Torch when she upgraded to a Samsung, loved that phone
I remember the BlackBerry torch and BlackBerry torch 2 they were AT&t exclusives in the USA back like 2011-2012 I sold phones in Costco back then and I sold quite a few of these. I enjoyed this video
6:22 A communications disruption can mean only one thing : invasion
we want blackberry back people blackberry is not an android smartphone stays in line like the classic has a new operating system with a new device like the classic itself i know so many people who would like to buy it blackberry has to make a comeback
One of the funniest episodes in a long while, hilarious!
Would love seeing Sam dancing to “We are the Blackberry boys” song.
😂🤣 on their tour!
Loved the tactile feedback on that screen! Damn.
I still have my Blackberry Bold 9780. And that phone aged well in my opinion.
Still using a Blackberry Bold 9700 for my powder business.
Hi Sam. It's always so nice to see the sweet kitI
I have watched your videos a few times and really entertained each time. Subbed! Great videos man.
I had this exact same phone. Torch 9810. Loved it so much.
3:30 That "Slash" joke tho. 😂😂😂😂
i died in the beginning 😂
Simply drooling with nostalgia 😍🤤 lol
So in your words I’m a relic of the past

just imagine if you could exchange a modern lite OS on these little gems!
I spit my coffee when gandalf came on 😂
Didn’t think this phone even had wifi 😂
I used to have this phone when I was 13 lol! Memory unlocked.
Loved the video!
I have a Blackberry 9860 and the camera quality is absolutely exceptional even for 2022
The sensor and lens are just briliant.
Really?! Need to see a video slide show of all the photos
These phones are like relics of past , crazy how fast technology has evolved
I actually appreciate the photo vibes
I always wanted to get one of those phones. I had a 9300 curve lol. The blackberry torch was a very cool phone back then.
My friend has a 9700 i think in his collection
That phone is pretty cool and i would love to have a blackberry in my collection
in 2022....
I still use this BB to play games that can be downloaded via the application and the web.
Sam and morning coffee ☕ are the best.
I loved this video saw just 2 vids from u and u got some funny content
The blackberry priv is also a sliding phone. Would most likely be far more usable
I had the Torch it was my first smart phone before I got my first iPhone the iPhone 5...
I actually loved this phone but it was so slow and bulky... if it was refined and more powerful, this would sell well I think
Man I miss this phone.
Never owned one though, but my old friends had it so I tried them.
What a good old days.
Great Spaceballs reference

when samtime uploads: *REAL S**T*
Blackberry 9800 / 9810 - I still got my one. The 9810 has a faster processor in it and I think more RAM. I think it also takes Micro SD cards
amazing as always.
You are a true business woman ☺️☺️
8:18 lmao
I love your content
My friend Miłosz still uses one of these!
This is the one i wanted all through highschool and then android came
Oh man the case is excellent 👌🏼
Very entertaining. I enjoyed that.😃
I had a Blackberry, it couldn’t load anything in the crappy browser, so I smashed it with a hammer in rage and bought a £250 Samsung Galaxy S3 (decent deal at the time when flagships were usually £400+)
I think you should learn to control your emotions.
I traded this phone and some cash for an iPhone 4 and have had an iPhone ever since. Loved blackberry
This is one of many fantastic blackberrys of it s time :-) , slider feature , it s entire appearance is just great :-)
Just too bad for technology evolving , i.e. networks n such 4g and 5g . I miss this good old black era :-) , it did have it s great run :-)
Blackberry was amazing but when there server went down for about a year, everyone moved on lol
The first and last BlackBerry I've ever owned.
Your one of the funniest RUclips channels
SLIDEY PHONE PRO! lol
My mom had a blackberry torch and remember playing the brick breaker game
It was my first BB phone and the last and the WORST

Didn't you hear they're coming back and changing their name to Whiteberry.
with all these nuggets starting to think sam should collab with dankpods
There's the priv, but that runs android, lost the nipple and is already like 7 years old. The last BB phone made was a Key2, like 4 years old but that has a static keyboard.
I want the buttons back.
Sam, 5:38 which message app is that one in your Samsung???????? Please give me its name, or I will turn BBpin servers on
