Remember when the biggest issue with 2K19 was them not having Tommaso Ciampa and Nikki Cross in the game? Compare that to the game that came after this.

I recently started getting into wrestling games again, and when I had to buy one, I bought 2k19 despite 2k20 being out. I made the right call.
What was the last wwe game you played before 2k20?

The MyCareer was one of the greatest Careers I’ve played in my life tbh!
Definitely the best & most fun MyCareer Storyline in the WWE 2K Franchise.

The 3 wrestling games I play the most atm are 2K19, All Stars, and 2K14
My favorite thing I ever did on this game was starting a Ruthless Aggression Era Universe Mode. It was a lot of work to get all the wrestlers and arenas but I had a ton of fun starting it off. I wasn't sure if I wanted to follow real life or let the game do its own thing tho so I stopped after a while but now that ik how the game works, I'd let the game do its own thing if I started over. I hadn't played wrestling games or even watched wrestling since 2012-13ish, around the time of the Summer of Punk but I had so much fun with this one I casually started keeping up with wrestling again
I know what you mean I started my attitude universe mode from 1999-2013 days & just followed real life shit but if a match ending didn’t go like real life did I just adapt & make the storyline better, I just got to the CM Punk Vs The Rock fued 😂
WWE2K19 was amazing, loved the AJ styles cover, good memories playing the game 😊

i feel like this game indirectly became a top 5 wrestling game due to it being a very good game & also due to how piss poor wwe 2k20 was. that's why i have really high hopes for 2k22 to being the series back to where it should be.

The fun truly lies within how creative you can be with the game. I book my own universe, I don’t let it be random. I fully do all booking and determine the outcomes and get shocked sometimes when the match doesn’t go my way. I played 2k20 for awhile and the main reason I went back to 19 is because I’m not a fan of the new controls for 20. This really is the best of the 2k wrestling games.
Same I lost interest in the game with the new controls, honestly looking forward to playing 2k19 again whenever I get it.

I really like WWE 2K19. The My Career mode was much better, Daniel Bryan got his own 2K Showcase, and AJ Styles was on the cover
best roster of all time...my son and i went back to this recently and we were blown away by the roster
2K14, 16, 17, and 19 had CRAZY rosters
Still my favorite WWE 2K game. Absolutely loved 2K19. I love 2K22 as well.

@@mxrder8 14 doesn’t count in my opinion because it was still made by Yukes with the influence of THQ before they went bankrupt and 2K were given the rights to the series
The most fun I ever had with this game was using community creation and universe mode. I basically recreated the entire era of 98 using wrestlers, shows and PPV'S from WWF, WCW and ECW.
When this game came out, i didnt even notice it at all like fr i never noticed it came out. But my mom got me the game for christmas and i wasn’t expecting it because i never even knew about it. So obviously i was like “thank you” and never played it. But a few months go by and i just said “yk what? Lemme try this game it might be good”. And when i played it for the first time i was so invested and happy with the game. It was so good.
The fact that The Miz picked “Skin” by Bullet For My Valentine makes this game 100x better for me.
To think this game came before 2k20, wow all that progress🥲

I disagree, I think it was one of the best songs in the game.
I thought people hated 2k19 purely because of the MyCareer for its cheesiness, but I happy to see everyone loving this game
Career mode I never finished, I tend to never finish story modes in wrestling games, but this one where you fight Barron Blade in NXT for some UNGODLY reason me and Blade had a five star banger. We were bloodied up going insane-o mode which just made a crazy visual for the cutscenes in the match.
2K19 is defitnetly up there with as one of my favorite wrestling games.
I remember you could give the wrestlers a mixed reaction from the crowd and that made me very happy!
2k19 is in my personal Mount Rushmore of wrestling games tbh
2K19 is faster because Yukes decided to move in an arcade direction again after 2K17 and 18. So technically 2K19 is an arcade-leaning sim

2k 14 has beat gameplay, 19 is similar
Till now i still play on a moded wwe 2k19 i have all the superstars from every era with their attires from current or past time, managed to create a perfect roster of wrestlers from every era even added aew roster, probably the most wwe 2 k game i invested time into i can literally match any wrestlers i want choosing any attire i want imagine the freedoom that creates + the core gameplay is really fun so imo 2k19 is peak 2k.

I feel like WWE 2K19 was like Yuke's last hurrah (and it was) since they were leaving. Glad they gave us one last hell of a game to play at.
*One thing I didn’t like about WWE2K19 was that the wrestlers menu screen poses was just plain & boring. In 2K18 we had every superstar have each unique poses when we selected them and it felt authentic*

The only thing I don't like about 2K19 is when I play it at night and then the bright ass menu screen blinds me like the "my eyes" guy from spongebob
The only bad thing that 2k19 got was the Cruiserweight roster
you can download many great CWs OUTSIDE of WWE for your CW Division..
I mean to be fair 2K22 is gonna be worse on the Cruiserweight roster
@@kiddingme3413 Yeah for 205 live they only have 4 guys now. Cruiserweights in total are about 11 guys. There's some great wrestlers in that roster, but it's way too small.
I had to download a custom Cruiserweight title and turn the cruiserweight option off to have a good Cruiserweight roster. I added Pete Dunne, Daniel Bryan, Hideo Itami, Andrade, AJ Styles, Oney Lorcan, Christian, and many more wrestlers in there.
Even that wasn't bad, pretty sure it had everyone besides Murphy and Kendrick.
I'm still playing 2k19 to this day!

This is my most played game on my xbox and im still obsessed with it.
I don’t know what 2K are up to, but if I were them, I’d literally just recreate WWE 2K19.
I'd make 2K19 but add all good features and details they've taken out of the games throughout the years, like placing tables and ladders wherever you want them, wrestlers walking slowly when tired and/or holding their limbs when taking too much damage etc.

2K19 was a very solid WWE game. Obviously not the best ever but probably the best on the PS4/Xbox One generation of consoles. I played this game a bunch and I'll probably revisit it soon because of this video.
To this day I still play this game. It still feels current and competitive
18' and '19 are my are pretty solid to me. 2K19 is my favorite until til dis day. I like when the wrestlers climb to the ropes or corner and have a realistic way of getting up. The gameplay is the so good. Great video man 👌🏼
To this day 2k19 is my go-to for WWE 2K games. I've since pretty much stopped playing 2K22 and went back to 2K19.
2k19 was way better than the games that followed . 2k22 was the beginning of the end and is now removed from the xbox store

It was a solid wrestling game on top of just being a fun game in general. The CAW mode is excellent in this one.
My first introduction into the 2k wrestling games was 2k18 n I was shocked on how drastically they changed n now im hearing this one was the best, wish I did more research before i got 2k18

I'll never forget playing this game and getting so hyped when I dodged a finisher attempt from behind me and then the person in front of me who went for a superkick, knocked the hell out of the dude I reversed which gave me the chance to hit my finisher on the guy using the superkick and I went crazy 😂 still play this game all the time!

I’m so glad I got this game I almost passed when 2k20 was coming out but then I got 2k20 I played probably 4 hours max of the game and went right back to this
I still to this day have so much fun playing this game. The universe, showcase and especially my career modes are fantastic!
Let's not forget that the Community Creations got better from the previous game. I mean, on 2k18 some layers and images you "downloaded" don't show. 2k19's small improvement on the layers and images made it amazing for custom rosters, divisions, championships, shows. It was a small improvement but a necessary one.
I actually play WWE 2K19 and WWE 2K17 more than WWE 2K22 and WWE 2K23.
Am I really the only one who liked this game the most from jump ?? Roster was crazy and dlc was even crazier ! Game had everyone and every character Tully felt like the wrestler down to the most detailed moves

Bro Ladder matches on 2k19 was my addiction. I remember setting up a ladder bridge, throwing my opponent on it, going up top, and then performing a epic ass spot.
