I'm late to the party. But your reaction was amazing and touching. I was introduced to Pink Floyd thanks to my dad when I was 8 years old. He had some old tapes of The Wall and Dark Side of the Moon. I immediately became a fan. Now I'm 40 years old and PF is still my favorite band.
Well im ALMOST 40, but Im the same. My dad would blast the floyd in the house all the time. Hence why I have such a strong and emotional connection to that shit 😁
Hey dude.... I lost my dad 2 years ago and his fav band was Pink Floyd. I watch this dvd at least once a month. And just reminisce.... Let it out dude. Even though I'm on the other side of the world to you just know we all got your back! Keep up the rad videos! 🤘
I'm feeling for ya dude, I'm 100% sure your father was with you during this time. I lost my father to brain cancer 17 years ago and one of his favorite artists was Meat Loaf so every time I listen to the album Bat out of Hell I reflect on the 10 loving years he and I spent together and how many times I heard that cassette in his car over and over and it's still one of my favorite albums to this day. It's amazing how a deceased loved one's spirit can connect with you when you listen to and grow to love the music that they grew up with and enjoyed! Awesome video man.
Wow, dude; this video hit me right in the feels. I saw Pink Floyd twice and they remain the most powerful musical experience I've ever known, bar none. This song in particular resonates from a dark time in my life and never ceases to grab me. I greatly appreciate you sharing this, it took balls and for that you have my respect, always. Peace, bro. We're just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl Year after year Running over the same old ground What have we found? The same old fears Wish you were here
After the recent loss of your father.. no doubt this would kick you in the feels! It made me shed a tear watching you react. Pink Floyd is KING when it comes to putting deep emotion into songwriting. Love it.
I grew up with Pink Floyd and seeing live 8 about 4 years ago took me to the same emotional rollercoaster that you went through and I think that your response was most appropriate.
They’re just one of the best bands ever... They have so many great albums such as Dark side of the moon and the wall.... this band will always stay in my heart
I share your emotion here my friend. Pink floyd mean so much to me, through memory of my father. I always get emotional listening to their music. Much love from Scotland 💙
Having grown up with Pink Floyd (due to being old) and seeing them live in the eighties I'm inextricably linked to them and can listen to their stuff endlessly. There are a lot of bands out there who are technical or brutal or heavy or whatever but it is a skill to capture that much emotion in your work and be able to reproduce it live time and again. Love Pink Floyd and wish I could go back in time to see them again.
I'm subscribed to you cause you're fun, I looked up your video, and your intro almost scared me off lol. I'm a bit drunk but good lord, man. Anyway lol, love, bro, you're a real one for reacting to something special that won't ever happen again.
9:04 - This is the Battersea Power Station, a coal-fired power station (South West London) where pictures of the legendary flying pig were taken to make the cover of the album _Animals_ This is one of the best video reaction on RUclips -- I was very moved too, really. This is Pink Floyd, man... you can't resist or you are not human.
GC, since I became a subscriber to your channel, this is 1st to you being emotional here. Usually, you have crazy, no holds barred attitude for each reaction. Now, I can see the softer side of you because of your father. Plus, Pink Floyd has that effect on me too...…..
My father is battling brain cancer right now. Pink Floyd is and always will be his favorite band. Few things still bring a smile to his face , but this performance was one of them last month when I brought it for him to watch. Thanks for all the great videos GC keep it up
brought tears to my eyes, seeing them together again, and what a night live8 was.i was there and EVERYONE was there to see these Gods one last time. It was very emotional and many in the crowd were in tears. The end of an era OUR era.
Saw David Gilmour at the Chicago United center April 8 2016. Unfuckingbelievable. The only concert I ever shed a tear for just from hearing the guitar. Will never forget it!
Floyd always puts people in an emotional state. I saw this a couple of months ago and I was blown away. Gilmore’s solo on Numb is just just fantastic. To think this was a reunion concert lol 😂 Rock On 🤘 Brother
I was there, and the thing that struck me most was the number of kids who weren't even born the last time they played singing along and knowing every word.
Holy shit I used to be this guy Lol I did cry when I watched this for the first time knowing it was their first time all 4 of them playing together in like 20 whatever years and the last time it would ever happen. Two geniuses right there that just couldn't get along anymore.
Hello Galacticriminal I thought the same as always I love pink floyd i have done ever since my brother introduced them to me many a moon ago and I still love listening to them and your reaction speaks volumes to an awful lot of people who grow up listening to pink floyd back in 60s and 70s and even now to this day sir David Gilmour is and will always be in my top ten of all time greats to ever pick up a guitar and those solo’s just wow. Let me know what you think of my comment. 🤘🤘🤘👍👍
The woman is David Gilmour’s wife Polly and his two youngest sons who had never seen him play with Floyd.. David has eight children ... I believe she played a part it Gilmour attending he first said no then changed his mind. So Happy he did...
Beautiful video. Nothing beats this live version. Pompeii 2016 by Gilmour + band was nice but nothing compared to this version. There's definitely something magical going on here.
Please listen to The Final Bastion - Till Life Do Us Part (Miss Conceptions). It absolutely blew me away and I can't believe the video only has around 200 views.
Pink Floyd was a big part of my growing up. I was real proud of my shitty metal band doing a cover of "In The Flesh" and getting a glowing review from a local music review website. So much of my higher musical standards come from them, and Rush, and all those bands that create such art. These aren't songs... they're art. Masterpieces. Stuff that has such soul and can transcend being just music and take you on a journey. You don't listen to it -- you experience it. So much of music is just carbon-copy, cliche, generic. Very few can ascend to this level.
Dude, this was incredible, but please react to Comfortably Numb live at Pulse, its the Greatest performance of that song, possible the greatest performance of any song ever.
i'm no bragging but im in the UK i grew up with pink Floyd ive met roger, david, nick and ive seen them several times live including earles court. so many ppl around the world can connect to floyds sound thats why they are eternal, but Dave is left now out of the original line up still friends with roger but yet pink floyds music lives on
If someone sends me to a desert with only two records to listen for the rest of my life they will be The White Album of The Beatles and Dark Side Of The Moon.
Queen may have stolen live aid but Pink Floyd stole live 8 in a much greater fashion, in my mind not only the greatest band of all time but will never be surpassed. loved your reaction a north american Brian Blessed who I would love to go on a pub crawl with
I'm 37 right now... My father introduced me to Pink Floyd, Roger Hodgson, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Nazareth, Yes and finally Motorhead... while I was introducing him to Metallica... it was 20+ years ago... David Gilmour got the cleanest guitar tone in the known universe.

No one can draw emotion out of a guitar like David Gilmour can. His tone and bends are unparalleled. Thanks for the video, props to your reaction!
nothing melts my heart more than a grown ass man crying to one of the best bands ever, amazing reaction!
Best reaction to a performance ever!! Was with you every second brother ... that’s what floyd does to your soul ❤️
Hey dude.... I lost my dad 2 years ago and his fav band was Pink Floyd. I watch this dvd at least once a month. And just reminisce.... Let it out dude. Even though I'm on the other side of the world to you just know we all got your back!
Keep up the rad videos! 🤘
Greatest band ever. I was crying with you.... it takes a stronger man to cry than just bottle it up and act stupid!
...and i cry too 😓
...me too 😭😍

We're just two lost souls

What have we found?
The same old fears

This isn't just a reaction, it's an epiphany.
After the recent loss of your father.. no doubt this would kick you in the feels! It made me shed a tear watching you react. Pink Floyd is KING when it comes to putting deep emotion into songwriting. Love it.
