There are two reasons that the Bruce Wayne is looking like a fad. First, those of us who brushed out the bracelet on our Classic Black GMTs have a more practical watch. It looks like a date Sub GMT and is much easier to travel with, since there is less bling. The only real advantage to the Bruce Wayne is the 70hr power reserve, which is not enough for me to upgrade.
Second, the secondary market is already overrun with Bruce Waynes. There are 170 Rolex 126710GRNR on Chrono 24, all priced $20-$25k. (There are about 900 steel Pepsis and 900 Batmans also for sale, but they have been out for several years). So a large share of folks who get the AD call are trying to double their money by flipping this watch but are not finding ready few buyers. Prices are very likely to drop; I would not be surprised to see Bruce Waynes at or near retail within a year.
Now you just understand the “waiting list” of Rolex. This is the only reason why it exists. The dealer in swiss will tell you waiting time aprox. up to 5 years. So what you will do? Your brain will lock the Rolex watch as very rare and precious watch, but only till the day you buy them. Than you realise that every person around you have Rolex and you have no idea if is it real, fake, old or new model. Thats the mind trick of Rolex and its perfectly working. On the o end of the day NO ONE cares about your Rolex, but Rolex is washing your brain to have another opinion… welcome to the world of marketing.

The gray kinda looks like Rolex was trying to make it all black, but they phucked it up and half of the bezel color got ruined. They would have made it red if they could, but they can't, so they resorted to the gray.

Bruce Wayne has more visual interest (two tone bezel and jubilee bracelet). And for my eye, the jubilee is the classic bracelet to have with a GMT. Distinguishes the watch from Subs and OPs.
